Dr. West and her staff are outstanding! I have been Dr. West's patient for many years and have always felt cared for and nurtured there. Dr. West and Jenna Cotter are both very knowledgeable and up to date with the latest in the GYN world. Their expertise has helped me function at my best and I appreciate the wonderful job they do!

I’ve been a patient here for several years and the staff is amazing. I’ve read a few ppl say they have a hard time getting results, but the staff encourages everyone to have a patient portal so you always have access to you labs. They are very busy but I found that texting them is better than calling. I trust them with all my health needs. I started the weight loss program in August and have already lost 32 pounds. They go above and beyond. I trust them explicitly.

I had my first visit about a month ago, I met with nurse practitioner Jenna Cotter. She was amazing she’s very sweet, patient and super knowledgeable. Today I went back for another visit and saw Dr. Lisa West and I am blown away! Dr. West made me feel like family, she was very personable, she was also patient, she’s very helpful and I did not feel like my appointment was rushed at all! This was the first OB/GYN I’ve seen in Richmond since moving from Northern Virginia and they are phenomenal! Everyone here is so kind! The office is welcoming the atmosphere is calm and I couldn’t have asked for better experience! Thank you!

I have been going to a large Gynecology practice for years and I have never felt like anything other than just a number to them.

That was not the case at West Gynecology!

The staff, the facility and the entire experience was a breath of fresh air. I was listened to, all of my questions were answered and I felt like I mattered. I will be changing practices for sure and I would suggest everyone else do the same!

West Gynecology does the most thorough exam hands down. The staff is super friendly. Jenna NP is especially great to see too! Highly recommended.

Dr. West is one of my favorite doctors - she extends herself to help me with health issues not necessarily related to my annual visit. I am lucky she was recommended to me years ago!

Hands down the best gynecologist I’ve seen with her up-to-date knowledge and true desire to help.

I have been going here for a few years and everyone is so nice and helpful.

Been a patient for at least a year. I called their after hours nurse line and left a message about sever pain from what I thought was a UTI. I’ve never had one so I didn’t know what to do. They didn’t call me back at all! I’m glad I took myself to the ER. I had a terrible UTI and kidney stones. I’m very disappointed that they didn’t seem to care about my situation when I needed them.
Also, if you’re trying to get a non hormonal IUD, forget about it at this place. They kept delaying the process because they said my insurance didn’t approve it. I called my insurance and there was no need to approve it, it just had to be requested. After months of waiting and refusing their other hormonal options they kept offering me, I finally gave up. I will get it done somewhere else.

Horrible bedside manner, I felt like a science project. They did not care about me and just wanted money. They didn’t even follow up with me after my lab results, I had to phone them multiple times to even get an answer. Shocked to see this place has any good reviews, I would rate it a 0 if I could! Beware!!

And just to further clarify I had been checking my portal EVERY DAY for almost 3 weeks… so this was not a portal issue because my labs were never even put on the portal!! So I never even had access to my labs/results, and after talking with them on the phone, still never received anything in my portal…

I’ve been waiting 18 days for test results. Staff told me to follow up after 2 weeks. I called 17 days after my tests to see if I could get results. No answer, so I left a voicemail (10:30 in the morning). No call back. I called the next day (1:45 pm) and reached the front desk who transferred me to another voicemail. No call back. 18 days later and I have still not spoken to anyone about my results. If you are looking for a practice that has enough decency to return your calls when it directly affects your health, I would not recommend this practice.
