I hired Keithley Law, PLLC to represent me for an extremely high-conflict family law dispute for custody, visitation and equitable distribution. I hired Soo after interviewing several attorneys and reading some of her blog articles. Soo was wonderful and completely understood the complexities involved in these types of disputes. She understood and accurately predicted the litigation threats and drama that would occur in my case. Using her background and experience dealing with high-conflict people, she was aggressive when necessary and conciliatory when necessary. I never thought w​e would resolve our case, but we did, and she obtained a very favorable outcome for my children and me. I hope I never have to hire her again, but if I ever needed her help, I would absolutely do so and have recommended her to many colleagues.

Dawn is an absolutely fantastic attorney. She listened to my concerns, promptly and thoroughly answered my many, many questions, and walked me through the entire process. She helped me understand what the law allowed and, given my situation, what I would reasonably see as the outcome. She told me what options I could pursue and encouraged me to follow the one that would have the best long and short term outcome - and (not surprisingly) she was absolutely right! It went as amicably as it could possibly go, and we reached an agreement that we filed with the court instead of having a decision "imposed" on us that one or both sides might not have been as happy about. Her guidance not only led to an agreement that both sides found more than acceptable, but it also saved us the time and expense (and unnecessary stress) of long and drawn out litigation. The office staff are also friendly, professional, and responsive. Well worth the cost!

Soo Keithley and Dawn Rogan-Titus were an inspiration to me as they helped direct me through the divorce procedure. They both knew how to handle a controversial divorce and guided me in the process of what to expect. Divorce is a very emotional time for anyone and to know that your lawyer will do anything to help you is refreshing. I came to Keithley Law in hopes of evicting my tenant that had not paid rent in 2 months. After meeting with Soo for an hour, she had a game plan of the steps she would take to get the tenant evicted quickly and efficiently.
My tenant turned out to be a pro at evading service, delinquent rent payments, drug use and skipping out on debts owed.
Soo was so helpful with every step of the process including court and following through the final steps until the eviction was final. I will work with Soo in the future to help draft an improved lease and credit check potential tenants.

The best part of my experience, and the highlight of the entire experience was the initial consultation with Soo. She gave excellent direction and fully explained all options available. After this, I was assigned to another attorney within the firm.

The representation itself was fine, but I did feel that there was unneeded back-and-forth at times, with each message being billed at a rate of 6 minutes, it all adds up. The tipping point was when I emailed asking if we could reach out to the other party's representation and also asked if there were any strategies to move toward a resolution. I received a response stating "It is good to hear from you. It probably makes sense for you to reach out to [other party regarding my question] and the need to reach a resolution. If you are able to reach an agreement, then we can help you to memorialize its terms."

I was surprised when I was charged for this, and when I asked if I was being charged, I was ignored. Finally, when I asked to end my relationship with the firm and requested a refund of my retainer, the amount billed for the aforementioned email response was deducted. While it was only ~$40, my question was not even answered. I was offered a 15 minute consultation at a later time, but since I'm no longer a client, asked if that was something I would even be able to use. A week later and I have not received a response.

I would be cautious of this firm if your situation is not cut and dry and to whom you are assigned. In my experience, Soo Keithley is fantastic, but others may leave you wanting for more.

Would not recommend. My consultation was rescheduled twice. Once we were finally able to meet I was told that they did "3 hours of free research" already so my consultation could only be 30 mins instead of the hour I paid for. The research provided was a copy and paste from the Fairfax County public website of information I'd already found on my own. At the end I was told I'm young (based on looks since I never disclosed my age or birthday), my complaint wasn't real, it was stupid, and the case wasn't worth her license. Very unprofessional and demeaning conversation.

I should have known when they "charged" the credit card to begin the meeting. A $250 Consultation fee was paid for zero new or useful information. The team really should have "reviewed" a few details of the case prior to our meeting. Oh well. Live & learn!

Horrible experience with this firm! I told my whole story to Kiran the Legal Assistant, who then pushed a $250 consultation on me saying they have no availability unless I book it same day.

I agreed and she relayed the information to Soo the attorney.

I then had the consultation with Soo, and she was biased, standoffish, and aggressive from the start. At the end she tells me that she will represent me, and then disappears!

Eventually I tried reaching them, where Kiran then tells me that Soo will not represent me. Despite mine being a time sensitive case, she lied to me and left me high and dry and took my money.

She even said during our conversation that she went over my case before the call. Then why would she do the consultation if she read the case and knew she wasn't going to represent me?

Stay away from this lawyer if you don't want to get burned like I did.
