Target

I love this store. Yes it’s Target and some things are expensive and or mislabeled/misplaced. But the staff is always kind and helpful including the ones who run out the pick up orders.

I recently ( Aug 28, 2023 ) had a great experience at the Fairfax ( Guinea Rd) location in the Technology Dept. I would like to give a public shout out of thanks to Jim for going “over and above” in helping me locate the exact item I needed by literally getting on his hands and knees to search and find it. He was kind, helpful, and professional and turned my shopping experience into a pleasant one. Thank you Target for employing such a great person.

Always clean and you can easily shop quickly. No long lines and definitely no drama or crazy rude people.

The stock is good. Very competitive prices and the drive up feature is awesome.

I routinely find this Target fantastic! Clean, organized, lots of organic & gluten free options for my dietary needs, Target app accurately tells me what’s in stock, employees are always polite, good sales, etc.

I especially like getting groceries here instead of Safeway because the employees seem significantly happier to be working here. I’m perfectly happy to see less deep discount sales in exchange for seeing content employees. (Compared to Safeway’s often displeased or “fake happy” looking employees... I LOVE how Target advertises $15/hr on their door!!!)

Quick, efficient pickup with all safety protocols in place. Customer service areas was clean well lit and even though there were a couple people ahead of me in line, the Target employee welcomed me and asked if there was anything I needed help with. I said "in-store pick-up" and he said one moment as he helped the other customers and asked one of his colleagues to help which he did and in less than two minutes I was walking out with my purchase. Super efficient. This is the Fairfax Virginia Store (Guinea Road location).

Review is for the drive up order pickup service. As long as you mark “I’m on my way” in the app, your order is brought out to you promptly! A few times an employee was already out in the parking lot waiting for me!

Target offers a variety of choices for any product type, is usually well stocked (pandemic excepted), has adequate staff. Store is clean and I particularly like how, over the years, Target has become involved in the local community, seems to treat its employees well, and puts customer service and satisfaction first.

My local Target and I love it! It's never too busy during the week, weekends can get busy depending on the time you go. Starbucks inside

I received amazing service from the employees at the store. Especially Nate and Kathy who both provided wonderful assistance for me in my shopping experience. Additionally, I thought they really provided a wonderful community feeling for me with their kindness and candor, something that was definitely above and beyond my expectation walking into a large department store.

I have shopped at this Target for almost a decade and I have always found it to be well-stocked, organized and clean. I have utilized the pick-up service for almost a year now and it has been very convenient and the employees who bring the orders out are always very prompt and pleasant. I would highly recommend shopping here.

This Target has an amazing guest service team. I got broken cups from online order. The team worked with me to make sure I get replacement. They went far and beyond to find me a new dinning set, which was apparently the last one on the whole Target store chain. I appreciate outstanding professionalism and friendliness of people who work at this location.

Full Disclosure, I Love Target! This Target, stands out from others. This Target is wonderful! The store and restroom are clean, neat, and orderly. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have self checkout if you're in a hurry. The checkout lines run smoothly, staff makes a point to prevent long lines and waiting. The store is well stocked, with ample selection, great orginization, great prices, and a pleasant atmosphere. This is my preferred Target store in all of Northern Virginia.

I have never had a problem picking up my online orders at Target. The sales people are always friendly and I get my items quickly! So easy to order online and pick up on my way home.

Nice people, kind of hidden on New Guinea Rd which makes it quieter. Used their drive up service other day and though the app was not functioning correctly to notify them I was there to pick up (I got email saying it was ready but had to call the store to tell them I was outside), guy was nice and my purchases were exact. Will come again but probably just go inside to pick up.

The young lady who helped me went above and beyond what I expected/what's normal these days. She asked me if I'd like a cart to put my things in to make getting out of the store easier and when I said yes, she went and grabbed one, and then she helped me to get my things in it! Most people just consider the interaction over after they've handed you the receipt. I'm so grateful for her kindness and going the extra bit to help me out.

Russell is my favorite cashier, not just at this Target, but any store I've ever been. He's positive, friendly, helpful, and I sometimes wait in line a little longer to check out in his lane. Overall this store has great staff, and I typically leave with everything I was looking for. Extra shout out to get a red card, you won't regret it. To date, I have saved over $400 using it to get deals via Cartwheel and 5% off every purchase. Before you say "I don't want another credit card" the red card can be simply linked to your checking account like a separate Target-only debit card - download the Target app to use in-store for extra savings on the now integrated Cartwheel app! ...and no, I do not work for Target, just love the deals!
