This place was fantastic. The hostess was really friendly and welcoming. My cousin and uncle had built/hyped this place up for so many years, and I finally was able to eat here. The Aussie rolls are amazing soft heavenly bread/donut mix. The chicken my uncle ordered was tasty and filling. I had the Fish dish which didn’t disappoint!! The service was excellent. Can’t wait to come back.

We’ve been going here for over a decade. Since we prefer other foods, this isn’t our first choice of restaurants for family dinner but we love the food every time we go! Husband always gets the drunken ribeye, I go for their southwest chicken salad or the ribeye as well. Their chicken fingers are unique and delicious. My son has their kids menu salmon and he loved it. Will definitely go back when we get cravings but to be honest the prices are a bit high compared to other foods we can get at different restaurants. Just based on our preferences..

Love Sweetwater Tavern in Merrifield. Everytime we're in the area we build in stopping there for a meal. We stopped in Saturday for lunch. I enjoyed their Crabcake sandwich and my husband enjoyed the Sweetwater Roast Chicken Salad. Highly recommend both. Also, you have to get the Ozzie Rolls. They melt in your mouth delicious, even as leftovers the next day. Service has always been great. Their wait staff, hostesses, and servers are all top notch and customer service is top priority and very evident. I highly recommend building some time in for lunch or dinner. You won't be sorry.

Our waiter was helpful and efficient. The food was delicious!! I got the fish tacos and they are delicious! My margarita was perfect!

Food was really good. We got the BBQ ribs, crab cake and petite filet mignon. That was my first time having crab cake and it was so delicious. The mash potato was creamy and the sauce goes perfectly. Service was a bit lagging in the beginning. Love the atmosphere and little details of the place.

Service is always a step ahead, that's why the place is always busy. Shrimp appetizer is always on point. I had the fish tacos, they may be seasonal. Great crunch and flavor.

My wife and I dined as usual, salivating while waiting to place our favorite Drunken Ribeye orders, only to find out they were sold out. So if you want one too, go earlier in the evening! Asking the waiter to give us a couple more minutes we looked over the menu again and I reluctantly settled on the BBQ baby back ribs. Let me tell you this..... I was NOT disappointed in the least after finishing the plate. They were among the best ribs I have ever ordered. My wife got the short smoked salmon filet and was very pleased with it as well

This is one of our favorite places to eat. The menu has a great selection of delicious, yet healthy plates to choose from. The salads are so fresh and tasty, the salmon along with the Louisiana Pasta dishes are probably our favorite and let’s not forget about the Aussie rolls with sweet butter. Service and management are so attentive to everyone as well.

Not only was the food and bar drinks outstanding, the service from the wait staff and hostesses was impeccable. All the experiences combined made for an amazing evening

I can review this restaurant in three words. Consistent Excellence Delivered! The Great American restaurants have a winning solution. Everything from the decor, to the food, to the service to the cleanliness is executed perfectly. If you run a restaurant within 30 miles of any of these locations, you need to come and see how things are done! Also, I really dig the western themes at this location!

This was our first visit as we are new to the area. We were not disappointed at all. Service was wonderful. Very attentive. Food was excellent! Steak has the best flavor. Being from Fl, we know good calamari, this is by far 1 of our top 3 ever! Thank you to Dave & the entire staff!

Great energy throughout the restaurant. Good lighting, very clean, the staff were amazing, professional, courteous and attentive, from the servers, the bartender, the manager. My son and I had bacon cheese burgers, as Guy would say "out of bounds." They an obvious favorite spot for many regulars based on the congenial interactions between staff and customers. Very spacious with a great seating layout. Will definitely return.

Very good place with normal price. I ate very good dishes I really love this place.

Like all of the Great American Rstaurant group restaurants, Sweetwater Tavern has a delicious and delightful menu that is sure to make even the most critical foodies happy. Gourmet style beautiful presentation and excellent service are what you will come to expect as a Sweetwater Tavern diner. You should check out the other Great American restaurant group restaurants as well and you won't be disappointed. Each one has their own particular take on some similar recipes but each one is unique to the theme of the individual named restaurant. I've been a great American restaurant group fan for decades, and I don't imagine that will change!

Great relaxed atmosphere. Not fancy, but upscale family food. Reasonable prices, large seating area, they are ready for crowds. Ask for the fresh donut style bread before ordering...

Loved this restaurant. The food was great and the service too. Andra was our server and she was really nice. We started with the firecracker shrimps. Then we shared the Jambalaya pasta and the roasted chicken. Flavors were delicious, specially the mashed potatoes and gravy that comes with the chicken. I love sauces and this gravy was amazing. We finished with the bread pudding and it was by far the best plate of the night. It’s warm with vanilla icecream, so delicious. Thankyouu for the great food and service. Would come back

A wonderful experience! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The decor created a great atmosphere, and the festive decorations added a whimsical element! I truly enjoyed celebrating my brother's birthday here--they gave us a free dessert to celebrate!

Our waitress, Caroline, gave us the best service I have ever had at a restaurant, no joke! We went on Monday, Nov. 27 2023 and were sat at 6:15, in case anyone in management is reading this ;) Caroline was fantastic!

Went last night and had Zoya as our server. She was very efficient with getting everything out to us in time and noticing when my kids needed refills. Will definitely be coming back & requesting her. Also, their red velvet cake was absolutely delicious.

Food is amazing and gluten free options. We eat here pretty much one time/day when we are in town. We are from out of town. Kyle!!! Request him. The BEST waiter. We’ve had him at least two or three times. His service is amicable. He was very proactive in making sure our kids were good and that I received gluten free items (allergic). We didn’t have to ask for anything because he already made sure the table was constantly clean, drinks were refilled, etc. Thank you Kyle!
