Easy to order in person if no long wait but you can also order online to make it faster.

Small shop, no table seating just a few benches inside and outside.

Great place for a refreshing drink while going for a walk down College. The black sesame boba with coconut milk was vegan and delicious. I only wish the drinks came in compostable cups instead of plastic. Most plastics like this don't actually get recycled even if placed in the proper bin. At least they offer compostable straws! Will be back more often if I see a change in materials.

A friend got me a gift card a few years ago and it still worked after so many years! The drinks here were good but the we feel the Palo Alto location serves better drinks. There’s a lot of seating while you wait and there’s free parking in the back if the street parking is full.

Once you’ve tried boba teas from a broad enough spectrum of tea shops, you get a feel for quality. I feel the boba tea here is on the better end of the spectrum.

The customer experience was very good. And the way everything flows here, from entrance, selection, ordering, waiting, pick-up, to exit, was logical, and smooth as their Matcha.

boba guys is a must whenever i’m in california! the strawberry matcha latte is one the classic drinks and one of my go-to orders whenever i visit! i feel like it has the perfect amount of sweetness and strawberry to matcha ratio! i also felt like trying something diff so i decided to order the blueberry corn milk. this was so good i’d definitely get it again over the strawberry matcha imo :3 it was very creamy and sweet but i have a big sweet tooth so it might be too much for someone who isn’t a big fan of sugar. the boba also had a good chewy texture and tasted very fresh!

Great boba and the staff are so kind!! Brought my kid here and she promptly spilled her entire drink everywhere. The staff gave us a replacement drink before we could get even ask and were so nice about cleaning up our giant mess 🙏

I ordered the strawberry rice milk! It was my first time here, but will definitely come back again. A must while in oakland!

Best boba I’ve ever had. Hands down. Having gone to rare tea before boba guys opened, I can say that Boba Guys is way better.
For one they recyclable cups and and compostable straws! You can’t recycle most boba places cups because of the plastic film but boba guys doesn’t have that so it’s completely recyclable. Their boba is always fresh, warm, and cooked well. It's nice and chewy. I also really appreciate the smaller cups because most bubble tea shops have good bubble tea but I can never finish it all. Boba Guys offers 16 oz. and 24 oz. cups. They're also pretty fast. I once had to wait 45 mins for my drink at RareTea but the average wait for Boba Guys is probably 3-7 mins.

Boba is qq, as expected. Typically white and modern aesthetics. Clean bathrooms. 7/5.

The staff here is awesome. Not just polite but pleasant and attentive. And the boba is delicious and fresh.

Delicious Jasmine milk tea drink here! I get it with oat milk, half sweetness as recommended, and boba. The drink is so nice and fragrant you can really experience the jasmine green tea! Boba is always on point. There's street parking or behind the building there's a lot for 20 or 30 minute parking.

It was all girls when I went they did great not pushy at all had the best time. Not as good as the time I got the cookie, but an establishment. They need more food options though. People in there look hungry and you can’t just eat boba for lunch.

So happy to see Boba Guys in Oakland. Hours leave a lot to be desired for late night boba runs, but the weekend extension is nice. The quality rivals the original location and exceeded expectations when combined with their new bakery concept Sunday Bakeshop next door.

Yummy and delicious! Had a good experience, fast and friendly service. The drinks were great but one thing of note was the boba didn’t taste as honey-like as usual.

Yes yes and YES to this boba guys!! The strawberry matcha was the greatest thing I’ve ever had. I literally have been dreaming about it since I left!! Pleeeeease open a New York location, I will be your #1 customer!!!!

Would give 6 stars if I could! The boba was great, the employees were very nice and gave me a great recommendation, and the inside was very aesthetic. Overall a great addition to the east bay boba scene.

So far the Boba Guy's is the only milk tea place to combine horchata with boba pretty well. Also if a horchata doesn't have cinnamon flakes, it ain't horchata, and this one does and it executes it really well 👌
