Came here because I'm over the chain pet stores. Today my husband and I came in for just crickets. But it was fun to browse all the animals and critters they had to offer, which was a lot. Cages looked great, clean, animals were fed and appeared to be well taken care of. Folks there were super nice. Talked to Josh, he was very nice and super helpful on us asking on our desired wants with fish that they could order. They also had a lot of pet supplies, food, treats and animal needs. Will definitely return. Love supporting small family owned businesses!!! Highly recommend checking them out.

My boys wanted to get fish and this place was more than helpful. They told me to bring in my water to get it tested, even if it was everyday. I asked a lot of questions and they were very knowledgeable about what I was asking about. If they didn’t have something they said they would order it and were very friendly every time. When you walk into a place and the staff give off a warm connection, I don’t think you can beat that. I wish them the best of luck in their stores success and will find myself in there when I can. If they are reading this now, I wanted to just say thank you for being whole heartily invested in this. Genuine.

Amazing selection of animals and very helpful staff! I could easily tell they cared greatly for each of their animals. Very nice dog also. Decent prices for quality products. Overall a great experience! Best pet store :)

I’ve been looking for a knowledgeable reptile shop in the area and this seems to be the only place around Tacoma, and it’s lovely! They carry a selection of invertebrate pets, a huge variety of feeders, and lots more, and are very informed on all of their animals and can certainly help out with any questions. They also have cat, dog, fish, and small animal supplies, and will special order supplies or animals! The owner is so kind and I’m really glad to have found this place!

I have been doing my laundry a couple doors down from this place since it opened. I have been meaning to stop in and check out the selection of items for my cats. Although they didn’t carry the specific brand/type of cat food I buy, I was able to get a few samples of food I can look into for the future. They seem to know about what they carry and the reptile section is large and they have BUGS to feed your reptile friends if you need. They also are flexible on if you think they should carry something specific just let them know and they will look into it. Support your local pet stores please especially during this time.

This place knows what's up with reptiles. We just got a bearded dragon, who STILL doesn't want to be held, and they knew all kinds of things I hadn't learned just yet and put my mind at ease. Also they support other locally owned businesses which is very important to me. So glad to say good bye to the corporate, cold pet stores.

A nice little store with friendly helpful staff. They have a variety of pet items and are willing to order anything you are looking for if they don't have it in stock. They are also a Wish pick up location. I look forward to doing business with them often in the future.

I go there to pick up items that I purchased from Wish. The place is clean and cozy. It does Not have that pet store smell that I've noticed in other pet stores. Seems to be well stocked and each customer that I have encountered seems to be happy with whatever they purchased.

I love this pet store! They are very knowledgeable and they have a unique store. Very friendly down to earth people. They've earned all my future business. Looking forward to my next trip to Martin Henrys.

An incredible great family owned store. Matt was incredibly knowledgable and patiently answered my questions on skinks. The shop pup was a sweetheart and they have a surprisingly good variety of animals. Will deffinitely be back ^_^

The only Pet Store worth supporting.

As an animal lover and enthusiest I have spent far too much of my money on my pets. I have given most of it to big chain stores, then watched them torture and kill (by providing overstuffed, improper cages) the animals in their care for the name of profit.

It isnt like that here.

I visit almost every single day since the grand opening, if not to enjoy the animals and truly knowledgeable (I have kept exotics for 18 years, I know a newbie when I see them) staff that cares deeply for the animals in their care.

If you love animals, don't give your money to a place that profits off their pain and advocates improper care like Petco and Petsmart. Buy local, buy responsibly, and buy from honest pet lovers like Martin Henry's!

This is a new family owned small business, they listen to there clients and try hard to help. I have had very pleasant experiences with the staff so far. The owners are working with me to expand what they carry as well as bringing some special livestock for me.

Stopped in yesterday, a great little store. Very knowledgeable about dog food products and willing to special order if they don't have it. Proud to support our local business in the community.

Love everything about this pet store. People are great! Friendly always informative, and very sweet. They take real good care of their pets !

They had the coolest pets companions! Harley was so great with the kids and they were super knowledgeable about the animals and reptiles! Clean and lots a variety pet foods and supplies!

Stopped into this place yesterday on my way home. The guy working was really knowledgeable about pet food, and gave me some samples to try. Really personable! I can't wait to see this business grow.

I love it here! The shop pup is adorable with her painted nails. Everyone is extremely helpful. Be it fish, aquarium supplies, or dog food. I always leave with what I need.

Every time I go in there he's very nice very well well aware of animals he has some really nice little animals there I'd love to go there overall he's just it's just a good place great for kids

An amazing little pet shop. Reminds me of being young. They have all sorts of info and animals to check out and amazing customer service. I make a visit once a week.
