Whoa. Walking/driving past for years, trying to bottle the regret of not stopping until now. Delicious food in a spacious venue. This is a professionally done restaurant with reasonable prices and amazing food. Try the new brunch options. Delicious Jerusalem breakfast photo attached. Maybe the first ever served of many more to come at Zaytoon. A restaurant for everyone who wants healthy good food. It was even delivered to the table quickly. My kid ate his meal, too!

It was really good! We tried out some dishes and I will say this is a safe place to try out dishes you never know before. They make it really nice :)

Amazing Mediterranean restaurant ever. Sofisticated atmosphere inside/outdoor and outstanding dishes. Someone in this google map reviews said 'not a big portion comparing to others' but I would love to tell you all that it was so big enough that we had to give up ordering desserts. Fresh vegetables, not too salty but genuine taste -great for health. Staffs are also very nice.

My mom and I both had the sampler tray that includes falafels, hummus, tabouli, eggplant salad, babbaganoush with side of pita bread. The olive oil on the hummus was tasty. We are in the outside seating area since it was sunny and warm.

This is the perfect Mediterranean food. We had Warak Inab & Zaytoon as starters. The warak inab had very fine, thin, delicately rolled grape leaf with filling and the zaytoon had colorful variety of olives in a very flavorful non oily marinate. Both of them are highly recommended. I had hummus with sautéed mushroom which was served with generous servings of warm pita bread. I happened to try food from others on the table and really loved the Halloumi salad, the cheese just perfectly caramelized as well as the falafel from the Mediterranean plate & chicken from the shawarma plate.They use free range chicken for all dishes and you can immediately feel the texture and taste to be delicious. We finally ended the meal with Baklava, which was served with two scoops of ice-cream. Loved it!!
The Ambience was simple, relaxed & elegant. A big shoutout to the server yesterday, she took good care of our group of 7. This place is the best Mediterranean cusine in the Bay area, Highly recommended.

The restaurant has a very nice and clean feel. The lighting is nice and it’s a good place to go on a nice day.

The food is great! The mezza platter has lots of variety in taste, and everything is well spiced and balanced. Even the rice in the shawarma plate is really good. The other tables around us had very appetizing looking food as well. I really will be back.

I just adore this restaurant. All of the food is delicious and arrives quickly. It was so good we ended up ordering dessert and coffee, both of which were completely delightful and fun. If you’re ever strolling down Solano Ave, I’d highly recommend stopping in!

This is a hidden gem. I think they’re only 5 months old. The ambience is warm and welcoming. The staff is very sweet and polite. Service was quick. And the food was unbelievable! We got the chicken gyro on a wrap, falafel in a pita, and the pistachio baklava. SO good.
Go here, that’s my advice!

Modern and airy space, tasteful decor. Service is excellent, fast and efficient. The beef kebab is juicy and flavorful, perfect amount of doneness. The mazza platter has a delightful variety of flavor which all pair well with the pita.

Solid food and nice vibes. Falafel is surprisingly good. Recommend the lamb shank rice risotto!

Teamwork makes the dream work.
Astonishingly good Middle eastern food, made by a gifted, chef named Issa, and served by staff, who really care about what they do. The Bar is great, and some of the house drinks, like the "Arabian nights" designed by brilliant bar manager Kalyan, are just amazing. If you're a first-timer, I recommend The Mashawi combo plate with Beef and Kefta, (ground beef and lamb. you can choose other options) since it was just something to revel in. with perfectly grilled vegetables, and the Kefta was tender and perfect as was the beef with just the right amount of char on it for that grilled taste, and perfect rice, the plate itself visually, was something that could have wound up at the MOMA, but wound up in my tummy.
The addition of a glass of Lebanese Ksara red wine, and some "Toum", a sauce very few restaurants in the bay area even try to make, because it cannot really be made without the participation of someone’s grandmother, took this meal into the next lever.
Don't sleep on the Toum.
For dessert I ordered Baklava, not expecting a perfectly deconstructed Baklava, in 1/2 inch squares, underneath a scoop of delicious vanilla ice cream with a minimal ribbon of caramel, To be honest, this is best to tackle with a friend. (Which I did the following week)
Finally, I was impressed with the bartender Natasha, who made me a custom tequila drink, (I always test the bartenders by asking them to make me a "fancy schmancy tequila drink" which she did, and killed it with "The Natasha", which was what I started out with.
To end my night I had a nice shot of Arak, a liquor from the Levant, which tastes of hints of anise and grape, perfectly ending my night.
Zaytoon is a restaurant with chefs on a mission, with a kitchen and staff that have a real heartbeat, and a drink menu you won't find anywhere else.

Fantastic food! So glad we decided to try this place on whim. I had the lamb kabob, my wife had the shrimp and scallops. We both were blown away with this place. If you’re in the mood for Mediterranean give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I've eaten here several times, lunch and dinner, and have not been disappointed! Food is fresh, a modern take on. Mediterranean classics and always good. Plus, nice servers and a comfortable environment.

Delicious mediterranean food in a while. Loved the baklava ice cream! The environment inside the restaurant gives a good vibe.

Always interesting options. I do feel that they are not as adventurous as they could be and they could be stronger with the spices but you have to go with your clientele.

Great place for a special occasion. The musakhan rolls and mansaf were especially good. (The crumbled baklava dessert was a bit too sweet though.) Will return.
