My son & I enjoy having lunch here at Straw Hat Pizza in Hayward at least once a month. We like to go mid day when its not real crowded. We utilize some great offers that come by text. Today we had such a sweet gal helping us. Thanks for the great service & food!

This place rocks!! First time trying it out, littely the best pizza I've had in the last couple of years, just amazing, it was a XL Garlicky Chicken with white sauce, the toppings were generously put on, cooked perfectly and arrived fairly warm. Can't wait to order from these guys again, they made my day. Keep up the good work!! Thanks

I didn't realize there was a Straw Hat Pizza in Hayward? So I ordered online and went to pick it up. The girl at the register told me they were out of the pasta and garlic bread? This place must get really busy for them to run out of food at 3:00 in the afternoon? I asked if I'm able to switch pastas and bread? She had no problem. In fact, she made sure i got some bread and an equivalent plate of pasta. She was very pleasant and very helpful, which is rare these days. The pizza was good, but not when it's cold (for me). The twisty bread I enjoyed. I can say it was worth the money.

Better than ever came in ordered cauliflower crust pizzas easier on my diabeties.

Chicken aloha pizza are awesome.

Also new cups are bigger stronger no more kiddie cups.

Staff is wonderful. Owner is just a beautiful goddess in this world.

Ufc and boxing events are great.

Tvs all around.

And the lunch deal is the best in town

Ordered this through ubereats. Pizza is one of the best I've had in such a long time. Loved the wings too, love me a good oven baked wing.

nice pizza place, lots of tv’s for sports. clean appearing, employees nice, owner great&friendly.the works pizza better than MM, Domino, or RT. Pizza not greasy, items are fresh, price is comparable to other pizza places.

Great quality pizza. Check out their deals.. they can be pricey but they are worth it! When they add toppings they pack it! My favorite pizza stop in the bay area.

Yesterday was my first time in a Straw hat pizza place since my teens. Their pizza was excellent. I ordered the King size chicken, bacon, ranch with white sauce. The service was fast and they had a great crew working there . The place has many tv screen in it. They has the A’s game playing on all the screens. I will be back the next time I want a pizza.

Great! Pizza and salad bar tasty. Sadly(?) my group was the only one there, but nice to feel safe that we didn't have to worry about crowds. Overall, I'd come back because staff accommodating and location convenient.👍🤗👌

Placed order through Grubhub at 6:12pm. Food finally arrived at 9pm and was cold. Attempted to contact restaurant multiple times via phone. Each time they picked up the phone, they immediately hung up without speaking. Plenty of good places to get good pizza, I would avoid this place if at all possible.

Update @ 10pm: Sonia called and apologized profusely for our poor experience tonight and is going out of her way to make it right. Thank you for the call, Sonia! Rating raised from 1 star to 3 stars pending a future review/experience.

Edit: tried them again and had a great experience. Food arrived early and was great! Increased rating to 5 stars.

This place is in a good location. They have a sports bar with lots of big screen T..V.'s They also have an excellent game room for kids as well as adults. Great for parties or watching sports. The inside is nice and clean and the employees are friendly. Great for all ages and all events. This place deserved 5 stars..

This Straw Hat always makes the best pizza. The toppings are fresh and have full coverage all across the pie. Before covid this was our go to pizza place. The salad bar was always stocked with a good variety of veggies and dressings. Looking forward to being able to dine in again.

We recently had a surprise party for my daughter over here. Sonya was great very accommodating we reserved a room,ordered food specified when to have appetizers out and then pizzas after the Birthday girl arrived.
I was allowed to do a little decorating before reserved time, that was cool. We had pizzas,salads,wings,breadsticks,sodas and beer 50+ people showed up, we had a great time and everyone loved the food. We had to order more pizzas and wings. Thanks Straw Hat!!

Pizza taste amazing, freshly made and hot! Even the sandwiches/subs are amazing!!! Also a plus is that they're open late and super fun during FIGHT NIGHTS!
