I have been with Hale since the beginning and can say without question that it is the best gym on the planet. Best coaches. Best community. Best vibe. I have had the privilege to work with many/most of the coaches. Expert coaching focused on YOU! They will quickly customize your program if needed. Coaches worked around any pain I’m experiencing to help me get stronger and feel my best. The members are some of the coolest, kindest welcoming people you would want to meet. HIGHLY recommended. I’m so grateful and it’s worth every penny!

I've been a member for 9 years and joining Hale is definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made. The facility is clean, the equipment is well cared for and the coaching is quality. Plus, the community is diverse and very supportive.

Joined Hale in Aug 2022. Followed my long term workout buddy Gloria - I love Hale for the discipline in nutrition & fitness while having fun. Hale has taught me to stay consistent.I love the programming aspects of class - I have become stronger and improved in health !!

At 40 years old, I had never established a consistent exercise routine. I hated the traditional gyms, was very self conscious about my abilities, and terrified to hurt myself because I didn't know what I was doing. As a working mom of 3, I couldn't afford it. Time, money, or any recovery time should anything happen. I always said, IF I were to do anything, I'd want a personal trainer to teach me what to do and work with me based on my unique body, abilities, and goals. That was Hale for me. I joined because it checked all the boxes I was looking for. I was doubtful at first because CrossFit, as a fitness approach, was intimidating and intense, from what I had seen. But Hale does a beautiful job of being inclusive and supportive in EVERY aspect. I really appreciate their holistic approach (including a nutritional coach!). When I attended my first Guest Day, I was impressed by the wide range of it's clientele (age, gender expression, backgrounds, experience, and abilities). I actually had a broken ankle at the time, and Coach Heidi (who is the freakin' best, btw) found a way to include me and do modifications, so I could participate. I was hooked. I've now been with the program for 9 months and am so happy here (pic attached is me as Athlete of the Week in Sept!). The community of coaches and athletes are so lovely; genuinely happy, positive, supportive...amazing! The people are what keep me coming back, and I'm so grateful just to be a part of it. Oh, and I've lost 15 lbs, too. ;) But most importantly, I feel stronger than I ever have! 💪🏼Thank you, Team Hale!!!!

Recently started with Hale Fitness and have had such a positive experience! The coaches are incredible and work as a team to ensure we're getting the best programming possible and everyone I've met has been so incredibly welcoming and kind. It's a real community-oriented environment with people of all levels of fitness. Felt immediately comfortable.

I've been a member since 2018. I looked at similar gyms in the area and I felt safest and most welcome at Hale. I've been pushed, encouraged, loved, and supported in my fitness journey here. I've gone through nutrition coaching, strength training, and mobility coaching. I've since become a stronger and wiser athlete.The workouts are accessible for any skill level and the community is so encouraging. I just wish there were more opportunities to get the community together outside the gym.

I joined Hale in 2015. I’ve always loved being active, but my routine lacked the strength training I desired. Hale has helped me achieve my goals of getting stronger while still working on the conditioning piece of my exercise routine. As a working mom of two, the best part is all I have to do is show up and it’s done in an hour. Love the family like community!

As an (aging) athlete and life long runner who hates the concept of gyms…Hale is not a gym Hale has been the best way to get fit and strong. I feel like the community culture is unmatched. We have new members all the time and we all welcome folks in at whatever stage we are in our fitness journey. I love the diverse group of people and coaches. I hear the price to join is high, so that is something to consider. Once in, you will 100% make progress and likely surpass any goal you set.

When I joined Hale in 2019, I was instantly impressed at the size and cleanliness of the space. Since then, I have had the pleasure of getting to know the coaches and community. Everyone is welcoming and motivating. If you want to get stronger and have fun doing it, this is the place to be!

Joining Hale Fitness was the best decision I could have done for my health and fitness. The starting program might seem expensive at first and I was hesitant but it’s totally worth it. The best investment you can make for yourself. I decided to treat myself for my 40th birthday and I will never regretted it. You get total 8 week wrap around program with personal training, nutrition advise and accountability. Not only I lost weight but 2 years later I’m in my best shape ever, which means a lot since I’m over 40. I used to be always intimidated about going to gyms, not knowing what to do and feeling shy about asking. At Hale it felt like family from the start. The coaches are friendly and real, they really focus on meeting you where you are, teaching proper technique to avoid injury and celebrating everyone’s personal best. The atmosphere is friendly and community oriented. Everyone cheers each other on and everyone finds their level of workout. This is the only gym that I have ever stuck going to regularly for 2 years now. And I believe I will for many more years to come!

I’ve been a member for 5+ years and I can’t say enough about Hale. All the coaches are very knowledgeable and supportive. I’m getting constant feedback on how I can improve my skills. I love that the trainers will meet you at your exact fitness level with custom workouts and a full nutrition plan to help you get results. I have more energy than I have in years! So glad I joined! ❤

Well worth the time and money!! The intro interview convinced me right off the bat that this was the place for me when they asked inclusive, thoughtful questions about my mentality toward fitness, my fears, and my health goals.

The coaches work hard to customize their work out plans, food plans, and even their communication style to fit your lifestyle and motivate you in the most supportive way possible. When big unpredictable events have come up in my life, they’ve been able to quickly change plans to accommodate my schedule and where I’m at physically/emotionally.

I’ve historically always identified as non-athletic and was very self conscious about sweating in public. Hale has completely changed my relationship to my body and given me confidence and self assurance in myself I didn’t know was possible.

I am a relatively hyper vigilant woman around men, and all the male coaches and members are respectful and kind. I feel safe at this gym. There is genuine diversity (age, gender, ethnicity, etc) amongst the coaches and gym members! Hale has created a supportive patient and welcoming community :)

Joined hale last June. It was the best thing that I did in 2022. I found it was very helpful for me for the reasons as below.

- comprehensive guidance for the crossfit beginner. I received good guidance for diet, exercise plan and life style for the first 9 weeks. I was able to lose body fat and gain muscles significantly in a month. just need to follow the agreed plan and check the progress with the coach
- good community, meeting a lot of people like me in Hale helped me having fun together in the class and I received a lot of support not only from the coach but from the friends I made in Hale

My goal was just to remove chronic neck and shoulder pain from my job that requires long hours of computer work. Just by attending regular classes, all that pain was gone while I was unaware. So far, I am happy to do attend classes to be refreshed from my daily computer works with lots of cool people in the class but I find myself getting more interested in developing my strength and skills.

I’ve been with Hale for a bit less than a year and love it. The coaches are the best but the community is the secret sauce. I have been with traditional gyms off and on for most of my life and can’t imagine going back after realizing the benefits of coach led classes. Hale is the best.

I joined Hale in 2020 right before the world went crazy. Little did I know that despite going remote for most of that year, I’d be building some of the strongest relationships with coaches and other athletes. Fast forward three years, and I am glad to say we are back working out, in person in a well manicured and spacious gym (coming from the SF gym scene, the amount of space is truly mind-blowing). The coaches here are incredible- pushing you to step enough out of your comfort zone to safely get stronger. And the community!! I look forward to seeing these individuals throughout the week.

I joined when my daughter turned one and I was ready to not be in pain and be back in my body. I was scared to try a new thing and had sticker shock but a year and a half later I have no regrets about investing in my health and wellness. I am so grateful to be pain free and strong as hell as I’m preparing for the birth of my second child soon. Hale has something special that’s hard to describe—some combination of excellent coaches with a true talent for meeting people where they’re at, a good facility, a commitment to fun and community, and a little extra magic that makes you want to keep coming back.

Hale Fitness is my first experience working out with a group, something that's intimidated me most if my life. The coaches and clientele make the environment very welcoming and easy to get over any fears I had. This is my 10th month here and I've gained lean muscle, lost body fat and I'm much fitter at 50 than I've been since high school. I highly recommend this gym for all athletic abilities and fitness goals. The coaches can adjust any work out to meet your abilities. They help with all the movements, nutrition, mindset and recovery. The gym is clean and well appointed with a variety equipment.
