If you're sick of going to hardware stores where the employees have no clue where things are located, don't know the products, and can't answer questions you may have to solve your home and garden problems, you probably should just come to Dale Hardware. I've been going to Dale Hardware for decades, and I can honestly say that there's really no hardware store that compares to Dale's when it comes to customer service. The employees here are friendly and knowledgeable, and there have been very few times when I've gone in that they haven't been able to help me solve a home or garden problem. The store carries a wide variety of products, has a drive in lumberyard, a fairly extensive and well taken care of garden center, and just recently opened a pet supply area. For those who love unique houseplants, the store also occasionally gets some pretty difficult to find plants coming through. The store is clean, well organized, and there is plenty of parking. Overall, it's a great local hardware store that is definitely worth checking it.

Like a hardware store should and almost never is. Super friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend as a go to hardware store if it is within range. Prices are competitive to other stores as well and they support the local community a lot.

There is no hardware store that has helpful employees like Dale hardware. Also you can always find what you are looking for. I know this is why myself and others keep coming back.

Great selection. Great staff. Feels like a small hometown store but with big box selections. Only downside is it is a bit pricier but it’s close by so worth it.

The store is very nice. The good thing about the store is you will find a lot of garden stuff.The staff is very experienced . They will guide you on right direction if you need any help.

So far so good! I asked the person at the counter what differentiates Dale from legacy brands like Home Depot since my experience in California Home Depots were pretty average. The response i got was that the employees at Dale really know what they are talking about and will help customers to the best of their ability. That was exactly what i wanted to hear and this will make me choose Dale from the rest even if they are 10% more than legacy outlets.

The customer service was really good here. The layout seemed designed for customer service; there's a customer service desk directly in front of the entrance.

I used the key service and they had a variety of sizes and keys. Then when I checked out, they reminded me that there is a 100% guarantee for cut keys -- meaning they'll recut if it doesn't work.

Dale Hardware hearkens to a slower, kinder time amidst our cultural sea of hurry and ruthless efficiency. This is a place where people are knowledgeable and friendly, and will take the time to have a conversation with you without making you feel like you are bothering them. Does it take a little longer and cost a little more? Yes, but it's worth it for the connection to what makes us human.

The store itself is clean, spacious, and well-stocked, which is also nice.

Ruben was a great help, normally the hardware aisle is daunting with so many options that you don’t know where to start. As soon as I walked into the aisle Ruben was there to help right away, very professional and knew where everything I needed was at. Got in and out within 5 minutes when normally it would’ve taken me 20 minutes.

This review is for Dale Hardware. Went into the store with a question about fertilizer for my hibiscus plant. We recieved excellent service and more information about other steps to help this plant. Extremely knowledgeable!!!

Great place has a great selection of hard to get products.

Love this place. Beats Home depot and lowes combined. Service is always great. Lines are always short. Prices are always right. Dis I mention that they have everything? No 1 go to hardware tool and lumber yard hands down.

Dales has a great selection of BBQ sauces and rubs for all those pit masters out there and of course tools and other things you need . Fyi don't forget to download the Ace hardware app 😉

Great customer service and very reasonable prices. I went to Home Depot thinking that I would save a few bucks. But I wasted a lot of time and even some money. To be candid, it took me 7 trips to Home Depot and I still didn't have a solution. It took 2 trips to this store and viola! Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Please, don't waste your time or money going to the Big stores around Fremont.
