Nest Bedding

After shopping at a bunch of mattress stores, we settled on Nest mainly because of Troy's amazing service. He spent almost an hour explaining how to pick a proper mattress, it's definitely a must to visit his store in person. The bed we picked (Sparrow) is decently priced and super comfy.

Jason was not in a rush to close the sale. He took time to hear what I was looking for and suggested options for me to think about. I didn't complete the purchase until after I left the store. No pressure selling. I'm glad I bought another Nest bed. I bought my first one eight years ago. This purchase was to replace an old bed in our guest bedroom.

My wife and I spoke with Troy Ewing today for a consultation. He spent about a half hour with us asking questions about our current and historical sleep situations. He knows his products well and was able to answer our questions and make recommendations. His manner is precise, thorough, and not pushy. We intend to follow up with a purchase.

Nicest customer service representative that I've ever dealt with. Jason went above and beyond. I can't wait to try out the new bed.

Tatiana was super helpful in getting us our new bed. We came in sort of knowing what kind of bed we wanted, but she was great at helping us narrow it down, and also explaining the labor day deals and shipping logistics.

It didn’t feel like she was pressuring us and just gave us the information we needed to make our own decision! It was a great experience.

I ordered a mattress valued at ~$1500 which was wrapped in plastic. They attached a tool for removing the wrapping. I used the tool according to my best guess. This resulted in mattress being damaged (~10 inches cut).

UPDATE: Just got contacted by the company and they agreed to send a replacement (mostly without any hiccups).

I am updating the review to 5 stars because the mattress is very comfortable and the staff is very professional and courteous.

I had a great experience exploring mattress options with Jason. He was friendly, informative, and gave me plenty of space to try things out in a low-pressure environment. The company also cares about sustainable practices, which is a plus. Looking forward to my new mattress!

I love this place. Made my first mattress purchase there in 2016, or maybe even earlier. That one continues giving terrific sleep to its sleeper person. Now it’s time for me, on a different bed. I’m happy to report that the newer version of the one I had is improved in an impressive way, with a zip-off top portion that allows for replacement of the 4” foam or latex that will tire after some years. When you go here, ask about the deal about that replacement, even years into the future.

We came when Nest Bedding opened. Troy was really nice taking his time to explain about all the various beds that they have. We are a returning customer as our Airbnb room has a nest bed and our guests all really like it so that when it came time for us to buy a new mattress, we turned to Nest Bedding. Upside was the mattress was on sale as it was Labor Day weekend but bonus, we got a free sheet set to boot. Thanks Troy for spending time with us!

We had a wonderful experience here! This was our first time buying a new mattress, and since it’s such an investment we had a lot of questions. Tatiana had incredible customer service and held our hands through the whole process! 😅So glad we decided to check out the show room as opposed to buying online. It really helped us feel confident about our decision!

Was helped by Troy, who demonstrated incredible knowledge on sleeping positions and how to accommodate mine and my partner's preferences within the Nest suite of products. He gave us equal attention and was courteous without being pushy. We are really satisfied customers as this is our second Nest mattress (Owl Q & now a King)! I made an order through the chat function on the site. I Had the pleasure of speaking with Troy in the Albany showroom. They made it so easy, and helped in picking out the right robe.

We had a great experience shopping for a mattress with Troy. He was very educational and informative, and you could tell that he genuinely wanted us to purchase a mattress that would be good for us in the long run. We were also very impressed with how he was able to juggle multiple customers. I'd highly recommend that everyone stop by here while you're shopping for a mattress. I went to nest looking for some nice duvet covers and bed sheets and I also wanted to check out some mattress toppers. The quality of all the products are amazingly soft and the colors look beautiful. The mattress topper was incredibly soft and relieved so much pressure off my joints. The different bed sheets and duvet covers were super soft and could either be silky smooth or have a little friction depending on the material. The best part about my experience was the staff, without a doubt .
Jason was explaining all the different products they had and was telling me the differences between different materials and how to order certain products and shipping etc. Any question I had, he would go above and beyond the answer. He was super nice and really funny and very passionate about the business satisfying my needs which is great to see.
There was another worker there who was on the computer and she was also really nice. I believe her name was Tatiana, she helped me with my order and was really nice and great at explaining what to expect with my purchase.
All in all, I had an amazing experience, this will definitely be a go to if I ever need mattress things, I will definitely buy much farther in advance though and not wait last minute.

Troy was so helpful in sorting through my bed issues with me. He's super knowledgable in the area, and is generous with his tips. Together we troubleshot the issue, and he ultimately helped me figure out a solution to alleviate the issues I was having with my mattress. I cannot recommend him enough!

Wonderful shopping experience! My husband and I drove from Sacramento to check out the Albany Showroom. Tatiana walked us through the mattress options, how to choose the right one for us and allowed us a comfortable space to ask questions and try out the mattresses. Tatiana was kind, patient and intentionally helpful. The showroom was clean, easy to access and tranquil. We cannot wait to get our medium cal king sparrow mattress in a couple more weeks (everything is made by order), complete with king size pillows and terracotta sheets! Thanks for the positive experience.

Follow up: Our bed came in the time exactly presented to us during our shopping experience (4 weeks). It was easy to unpack and set up. We got the Sparrow Medium in size Cal King. We couldn’t be happier. I’ve been sleeping through the night for the first time in years! Snooze button is a new bestie!

We had a very positive experience at the Nest Bedding store on San Pablo. The store is very inviting, calming and a great environment to test sleep beds. The employees were very helpful. Tatiana helped us and she was terrific. She was very nice and very helpful in giving us pointers on the best way to test out mattresses - it had been 13 years. She also gave us plenty of uninterrupted time to lay on the mattresses and we did not feel any time pressure to make a decision. We received a quote the first time we went and then came back a couple weeks later to do a final test and received the price from the original quote. We were very happy with our experience and highly recommend checking out the Nest store for your next mattress. We have not yet received our mattress, but we really liked the one we tested in the store and are excited to receive it. We previously had a European Sleepworks bed. We decided to go with the Nest because of their unique design and price.
