Yuzu Ramen & Broffee

Hands down a great place! I had the spicy veggie ramen (it’s even vegan!) and it was so good! Very spicy, very delicious. We also had fried rice without the meat and it was really good too. People here are very friendly. Highly recommend.

Great! Traditional Japanese ramen, exactly like you'll find in mum and pop shops in Tokyo. Friendly, attentive service as you'd expect. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for :)

So good. Only complaint is that it is now eaten and gone. Because we're in the plague-times this was takeout--so this picture is my own plating, the original was much more attractive. It was very easy to order online and pick it up, and I noticed everyone there was diligent about mask and glove wearing.

Veggie ramen is suprisingly flavorful. Added an egg and... Pow! Knocked my socks off!

Great service and solid ramen. Portions are modest, but quality is excellent. Kids meals are available and are an exceptional value, especially given the ingredients - no processed nuggets to be found. Also, you can bring your dog and sit in the outdoor area! Blankets are provided if necessary. Very pleasant experience.

Excellent ramen shop. The staff is really kind, the patio is very pleasant, and the team has really stepped up the already amazing food game during shelter-in-place. I love the ramen and the fried rice. The menu changes a bit every day, which is exciting, and they even sell meal kits to make the dishes at home. I love coming here and feel very good about supporting an excellent local business.

Great place for a bowl of delicious ramen or udon. Staff is friendly and very helpful. A nice selection of beer. I love their wings, too.

I saw a comment from someone else about being pushed or forced out to pay when she was less than half way finished with their food...you pay before you sit down and then wait for your food...so I think that person may have mistaken their experience with this nice establishment.

Very friendly service. Waitress was really nice. Food took a little while but the broth is very nice. They don't use MSG or excessive seasoning so the broth doesn't leave you feeling thirsty. Would recommend.

What can I say about this place? Open kitchen, clean and spacious environment, decent prices for a bowl of delicately brewed ramen. Services are on point, employees are very well trained. Gotta love the jazz music!

I dream of this spot. They are worth the nearly 3 hour round trip drive. I don't think anyone ramen spot's broth has given me dreams like this place. OMG the broth, so hot, so flavorful, so yummy. The chashu nearly melts in your mouth-- so thinly sliced. I only wished the ramen had veggies in it :). It was an odd fluke of events that lead me to find this spot, as I normally go to SJ for ramen, due to living in SC.

Yuzu is my favorite ramen restaurant and one of my favorite restaurants period!! The ramen is incredible. My favorite is the miso ramen, but everything I have tried has been great. The broth is so flavorful. They have a really cute patio for outdoor dining during COVID and everyone who works there is so friendly!

Great broths and noodles. Their tonkatsu is textbook perfect. Even their veggie curry broth is great. They have three styles of noodles, each used for specific broths. The thicker ones have a good chew for my taste, especially the "thick & wavy" variety.

Bonus points for having a kid's meal.

This place is on the pricey side for ramen, but is well worth it.

So refreshing to find a relatively traditional ramen shop in my neighborhood. Absolutely in love with the broths and noodles. The whole experience is just absolutely perfect. Everything is delicious and richly flavored. Huge props for using grass fed or pasture raised organic meats and ingredients, it really makes a difference in overall flavor. I keep going back or more. The kid's meal is a bargain for a huge bowl of ramen, side salad, juice box, and a delicious little rice fritter (think of a deep fried risotto ball) dipped in honey gInger sauce. My only complaint is that the addictive side salad is only available with a kid's meal.

The tonkotsu ramen is very good, has some of the best broth I've ever had. I would highly recommend giving it a try.

The other ramen flavors are alright but not as memorable. The yaki-meshi is similar to fried rice and is quite good, but it is definitely a side and not an entree in itself.

Although relatively expensive, still worth it for the higher quality ramen experience.

Excellent ramen, friendly service, and better each time! Recently the menu also includes sushi and an array of beers on tap. Perfect place for family and friends right in my neighborhood!

Broth is like none other. Super thick and comforting. Pork > Beef broth.

Had the spicy chicken wings, not that exciting. Jus seemed like they spilled a bunch of chili pepper packets from a delivery pizza place on them.

Fried rice was ok.

I've been going here since they opened about a year-and-a-half ago I have to say my all-time favorite meal there is the tonkotsu ramen with extra chashu. They used to carry an Arnold Palmer which I would have with my meal they no longer carry that that makes me sad, what happened guys.

Might be the best Japanese restaurant I've tried so far in Emeryville! I really recommend their lunch poke special, their 3 hour roll, or any of their ramen. Really worth a visit if you want a quality bite to eat!
