It's Alameda county Park. There's a canyon that's full of water these days due to heavy rains. It has a picnic area where people do come and do BBQ during summer. Kids and adults come and do walking, jogging, and cycling. Sometimes you will see nature photographers and painters as well. In this place you will find wildlife as well so be respectful.

A quiet escape for those who love to walk or run. Since the rains the creek has pretty good level of water streaming through and adds to the cozy and peaceful ambience

There are a few parking spots in this area (approx 10-12) but the place isn't that crowded so finding a spot usually is not an issue.

I used to come here when I was younger in my teens to think. So this time around I had about 30 min until my next delivery and I was in the area. This place is just so serene and there are trails to walk on and places to sit and enjoy the park.

One of my favorite trail for cycling and running. Entire strech of one side of the creek is tarred, so perfect for biking. Towards the one end of trail is Niles Canyon staging area. Take a look of pictures. This area always have water(atleast for last 10 years, since I visiting this place). Considering how dry CA goes in summer time. Nile n Mission peak mountain really becomes brown and dry. This place with water sound is awesome.

Easy access point to Alameda Creek Trail with free parking, though the number of parking spots is only around a dozen. You can usually spot a fair number of birds near the site, as well.

Started biking from Milpitas. Great trail to bike, you have a choice, 1 side is paved the other more fun with gravel. The trail about 11miles 1 way, mostly flat. Trail section at 880 is closed so u might need to take a detour to continue if u are on the paved side. No affect on gravel side

Since it’s winter now, usage is low - nice and quiet. Great for bike rides. Entrance is a little steep ramp down so go slow so it doesn’t scratch bottom of car.

After that torrential rains in December 2022 and January 2023, the creek is now a raging river! I never thought I would see the day when this could become rapids. Just amazing and beautiful to witness this once in a lifetime event.

Very nice trail start in a beautiful are with a park like area for larger groups. Plenty of parking near by. Drawbacks, not a true restroom, large porta potties, there is a water fountain but no real sink or place to wash hands, dishes, etc. Like any other parking lot, DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR CAR. Since the parking lot is out of line of sight of the street and this is a calm and quiet neighborhood, it's especially prone to car break-ins. To be fair, I have been visiting this staging area about three times a week for several years, never any issues, but my car is always empty.
