Berkeley Public Library - Claremont Branch

Beautiful library with an excellent story time. This story time on Thursday afternoons is the best story time we’ve ever attended. The parking is very difficult in this area. So arrive early if you want to join story time. They have stories, songs, a guitarist, and a craft. I also like that they have a self checkout desk.

I've been to libraries all over California. This one is in my top 10. A library with a fireplace is so amazing. It was such a vibe. I didn't want to leave this place. The people who built and donate to this library you are amazing. Thank you🤓🫡

What a remarkable location! Trees outside, lovely seating areas and niches for working and reading, and easy access to outlets.

Nice libray. Quiet, & good for studying w/ plugs on the table. Seemed small/ mid sized but the use of space was great. Clean bathrooms too!

Nicely renovated with children's wing, the main area with lounge chairs and computer desks. Transferred books, Linked Plus, are conveniently sent here.

Before COVID-19 many lectures, activities, even music performances were held at this branch.

Just a quick stop in to renew my library card. Library clerk was friendly and efficient.

Cute, filled with gentle chatter, staff talked to visitors, and the computers are a nice touch. There's lots of kid events, which is always cute to here from the other side of this relatively small library. No one yelled at me, too.

Very nice library, solid. Very quiet, good computers, nice bathrooms, friendly staff. The building itself is nice to look at. There is some seating outside along the sides if its a sunny and warm day.

The Liberian Michael & staff.. A wealth of knowledge, so good with the children, grandparents & parents. Always going the extra mile .

I love this place . IT represents a protective cocoon from the world were I can be alone and actual here the peace . And here the silence . And can actually here peoples burdens and problems just fall off there body as soon as they enter.
