Columbia Cliff Villas Hotel

Absolutely worth the price. Beautiful views. Furniture is very comfortable. Our villla had 1.5 baths which was great. Appliances were also great. Zero complaints. Would definitely stay here again.

Love this place! After staying at the Hood River Hotel and having an absolute terrible nights sleep, I booked a night here and Meredith did everything to make our stay wonderful. We brought our new puppy and they even gave him a welcome gift with a new blanket and dog treats. We were able to see the river, sleep peacefully and play cards together next to the cozy fireplace! We will be back!

We got there an hour early and they had our room ready by the time we got checked in. Very comfortable bed, great view of the river. Nice big tv and fireplace. Loved it. Will be coming back again.

We stayed here and wouldn't hesitate to come back. There were some reviews that mentioned noise from the road. There are definitely rooms that would apply to, so it really depends on which room you book.

Absolutely gorgeous villas with breathtaking and dramatic views. Having a view of the river is a MUST! The hills are alive with the sound of music will be playing in your head as you glance blissfully above the waters to the cliffs across the way in Washington. Spectacular weekend experience.

What a gorgeous place & the staff was so friendly, welcoming & helpful. We weren’t sure what to expect as we booked a smaller queen room, not facing the river. But it was still lovely - clean, comfortable & nice linens - if you’re hoping for a big room, this one isn’t for you. We were on the road for a couple of weeks & stayed in a wide range of hotels/motels/airb&b’s - the ‘price to luxury scale’ of of our room definitely exceeded our expectations. There’s a shared patio area where you enter the rooms from which is wide & has a couple of sitting areas. A nice quiet place for a coffee or glass of wine while overlooking the lovely surroundings - pretty grounds & views of the gorge (the grounds very pretty too).
The staff was fantastic - each person we met at the front desk was so friendly, welcoming, kind & helpful, which made our stay that much more enjoyable.

We’d definitely stay there again. It’s just a few minutes bike ride into the centre of Hood River, which is a very sweet town with lots of options for food, drink & coffee (gets its own category).
If you want to treat yourself, stay in a king room - large, luxurious, with a fireplace & large windows opening over the gorge. But the queen room was perfect too.

Beautiful room. Beautiful view. You can hear the waterfall from the room. Note that if you are on water, you are also over the train. However, that did not bother us. The shower with dual heads was amazing! Lovely experience. 😍

Beautifully calming views from patio of water & wind surfers. Soothing fireplaces in villa great room plus the bedroom, which you can see while sitting on balcony. Rave reviews for 5-star comfort of Bedding & mattress, no matter which level of room you have. Would not consider staying anywhere else while in Mt. Hood area. Staff was very helpful

Quaint comfortable and very pleasant stay at the Columbia Cliff Villas. We enjoyed it so much so we kept extending our stay for a total of 4 vs 2 nights! Beds are super comfortable, rooms are very clean and well maintained. Staff at front desk and the housekeepers are all very helpful, nice and all of them provided me with awesome recommendations for things to do and places to eat in Hood River and the area. The “hotel” is more like an apartment/condo development with hotel service. Service and amenities are minimal (no restaurant nor room service, pool, etc) but you don’t need them if you have a car and plan on exploring the area. We upgraded to a bigger room which was very spacious and comfortable. I was shown the Euro King room and the size is ok (but not as small as other reviewers made it seem to be, I thought the most inconvenient part of those rooms are that they face the highway). The Columbia Cliff Villas are located off a highway but our room faced the courtyard on the 2nd floor and we couldn’t really hear it. The location is convenient to Hood River and to the wineries, falls, etc and was for us a good base. My only suggestion to hotel would be to add some hooks, racks etc to dry towels and swimming gear and some mugs for the coffee (rather than disposable cups). Oh, one other thing to keep in mind- There are no elevators!

Stayed over the weekend. Easily the most comfortable hotel stay I've ever had. Bed was fantastic, I spent more time than I care to admit in the oversized tub, and I got to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning next to a warm fireplace. Room was immaculately clean, and check-in/check-out was fast and friendly. I don't know that I would ever stay anywhere else in Hood River again after staying here.

Take a walk around the property if you stay. You WON'T be disappointed.

Great view from our 3rd floor room facing the river! The room was very nice, great bathroom. The air conditioner was a little loud and you can hear the trains go by. Enough parking. It's really a condominium hotel, which we liked! Friendly concierge service!

Great view & attention to detail! We stayed at the Villa and loved everything. Open concept, big kitchen, huge table and a beautiful & comfortable bedroom. The view is simply stunning. We loved every piece of furniture and decoration, so unique... they tell the story and taste of who chose and tastefully put them together in an elegant and unique ensemble. It is not cheap, but also not expensive for what you get. The 2 fireplaces, 1 in the living and 1 in the bedroom simply added to the wonderful time there. It is close to I84, easy to find, but we didn't hear anything at all from the street. A weekend to remember 😀

The accomodations made us feel comfortable and the fireplace was extra cozy during our winter visit. Loved the location of the villas with space for quiet river view walks in the morning and easy access to town. Bo and the staff were especially friendly and went above and beyond to make is feel welcome.

Luxury, relaxing and stylish are the first three things that come to mind when I stayed at the Columbia Cliff Villas. I thoroughly enjoyed the view of the gorge and windsurfers as I sat on our patio which is cleverly set up so you don’t have any wind issues yourself. Our room was full of accommodations and surprises that made me more relaxed and enjoy a restful nights sleep as well as have my business meetings via online without any interruptions. I felt right at home. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable so we will gladly be returning soon.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were welcomed to beautiful views of kite surfers on the Colombia river right from our bed. The accommodations were perfect for our family. The full kitchen would have been nice had we been able to stay longer.

Splurge for a room with a view. So worth it! We also brought our pup and they set him up with with a care package which was so adorable. Room was sparkling clean, very cozy , and i would love to stay again!

This Hotel is absolutely amazing!! I got stuck in Hood River for 3 days during an ice storm a few months back and was lucky enough to land a room here on the 3rd night. The service was outstanding! The staff was very polite and helpful. They were even sociable and I had a very enjoyable conversation with them. The suite I stayed in was small, but cozy. Simple, but incredible. Though my particular suite didn't have the greatest view, there are rooms with windows facing the Columbia River, which is always beautiful to look at. There was even a Keurig in the room with tea and coffee packs. My absolute favorite part part of the suite was definitely the bathroom. The shower was huge! The shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and soap included in the room is definitely the best I've ever found in any room or suite I've ever stayed in. They also include makeup remover wipes that work really well, and is an awesome idea!! I also want to emphasize just how incredibly clean these rooms are. 5 out of 5 stars for sure!! I would love to stay there again someday, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Though being right next to the freeway is not the fault of anyone, it is an unfortunate truth. They do a wonderful job of insulating against the sound, but you will want to pay for the courtyard or river views to maximize on it. Very friendly staff who want nothing but to help where they can. I will definitely be returning on my next Hood River vacation.

Amazing experience here at the villas. We attended a wedding next door at the hotel and the rates for the villas were reasonable so we stayed here instead of the hotel. We stayed in the penthouse suite and the view was just spectacular. It overlooks the river and while we were there rainbows were abundant on the river. It also made for a great place to host friends after various festivities. The service was exceptional and accommodating and we will definitely be staying here again if in the area.

This is our second stay at Columbia Cliff Villas and there will be more as it's a great location. The staff are so helpful and friendly which is a plus. Great views of the river and a gourmet restaurant at the hotel next door is easily accessible. I would recommend this for a couples romantic getaway.
