Portals Restaurant at Suncadia Resort

Overall a pleasurable experience. We arrived with a party of 13 and the staff was very accommodating on short notice when the Swiftwater Cellars was extremely rude when we had a reservation. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and an anniversary.

Anyway ambience was amazing. We came for dinner it very calm and not hectic. Our server - Hailey - was very nice and respectful. The view is superb!!!

Beef cheeks Ragú - it was good. 5/5

Grilled Halibut - the cold corn salad was surprising but the dish overall was very refreshing and not heavy. And best part Halibut was cooked to perfection and was not dry. 5/5

Diver Sea Scallops - good, seasoning on point. You get three scallops so for the price a little on the expensive side and wish there was more.

Marinated Skirt Steak - good, grilled and seasoned well. Served with mashed potatoes

Awesome service and good food off their lunch and dinner menu. Salmon was moist and not over cooked. Great Mac and cheese and hot dog is excellent along with the flat breads. Accommodating with kids and their needs which makes for a nice dinner out for the family. Prices were on par for the resort and how can you pass up a golf analogy here! Also great views

Great dinner with friends. Waitress had all the answers or she went and asked if she didn't. We had so many great options. The carrot cake was fabulous.

The burrata , ribeye , gnocchi , creme brûlée and cheesecake were perfection ! Stephanie provided great service . I don’t know why this place doesn’t have higher reviews. I was so impressed

Nice place. The view was awesome, and the food was very good. All of the choices seemed to be healthy options. I had the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. Would recommend, pricey but worth it!

I don't really give full stars, but this place was great. Now, it's probably a little expensive... but we ate 3 meals there and every time it was great. Excellent poached eggs and hollandaise, fry and seasoning on potatoes and French fries was perfect, interesting adult drinks, menu for kids with good tasting options. Beautiful view. Great service. It really was top notch. We went the week after Spring break and staffing seemed to be high for number of guests, so maybe that contributed. As I think of the expensive attributed, it was just as expensive as Roslyn Cafe, which was a joke compared to Portals. There it was expensive cuz of tourists. Portals was expensive because it was really good.

Convenient to our accommodations! Delicious food and attentive, friendly service made for a very nice evening.

Stunning views! I think this is better than the Salish lodge food and view wise.
I do wish their was more variety on the dinner menu and kids. My kids enjoyed the soup a lot!

I enjoyed working there summer 2022. Wonderful food and bountiful banquets. Lots of kitchen to take care of! It’s home 🏡! I love Suncadia- Tumble Creek rocks! Golfing there with my brother I’m the spring time will be great!

Fantastic dinner, had the scallops, amazing! Clams, salads all delicious. Service was wonderful, desserts delicious. The assistant manager Joel went above and beyond to make our dining experience 5 star. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food. Food came out quickly for a gourmet meal. Highly recommend. Whoever wrote the bad review and gave this restaurant 1 star comparing it to "Dennys" obviously ordered the chicken nuggets off of the kids menu. This place is amazing.

The room was very comfortable and the floor plan convenient; we had our dogs and very much appreciated the fact that the resort is dog friendly with wonderful walking and bike paths. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. The swordfish was very fresh and delicious; the breakfast was also very good; the service was good. We look forward to coming back to stay longer. I can highly recommend the resort and all of its amenities, including the spa (which we did not enjoy on this last visit).

Great food, great experience, good vibes from all staff. My steak was cooked perfectly, our food packaged and bagged super nice to go, everyone was smiling (under their masks). Would highly recommend!

Our only option on Christmas eve, but always fun to be there. The atmosphere is always great at the lodge especially this time of the year. The portal is great, good food, quick service and friendly staff.

After reading previous reviews we were slightly worried. However we received fantastic service, it was very quick, and the food was absolutely delicious. Lauren was our server and she was incredible and made our honeymoon extra special.

Very welcoming staff. Food was excellent. It was the end of lunchtime but the staff had no problem with us arriving close to closing time. Limited hours during the winter. Great menu and amazing views of the Cascades.

My bridesmaids and I went there for brunch before our dress rehearsal. They were very accommodating since we were a big group and had a wide selection of food from the buffet. We had a great time!
