I absolutely loved this place. A great food place in the town of Roslyn, where the show Northern Exposure was filmed from 1990-1995 Great food at a great price. I even grabbed some homemade cookies which were delicious. Highly recommend this place as a stop heading to Leavenworth or other points east.

Had the best Rueben sandwich to date for me! They offered it with pickled beets and it was amazing. Everything was definitely fresh and super tasty. Ended up going back the next day it was so good. The service was exceptionally hospitable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone!

What a cool spot with an awesome menu. The place itself feels as if you are walking into Granny's kitchen with a totally homey homemade feel. The food matched the atmosphere as it was super fresh and everything was homemade and delicious. I loved how they had so many vegan/veggie options besides the normal breakfast staples. I had the vegan breakfast quesadilla and my husband had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. So fresh, so delicious and the portion was HUGE! Awesome place to go with friends and family and what's perfect is the menu has something for everyone!

The food was phenomenal and the service was fantastic! Thoughtful and creative dishes that are super delicious. It's the sort of place you could easily justify going for a 1.5 hour Sunday drive just for a meal here. Probably the best pastrami sandwich (Reuben) we've ever had. The interior vibes are very casual, kinda quirky vintage-eclectic that feel inviting. Eat here if you sincerely love great food and you will be very happy.

What a find! We live in "Twin Peaks" and figured we would go see "Northern Exposure" about an hour from us in Roslyn, WA. Got hungry and ventured into the Red Bird Cafe, and glad we wandered in! Aside from the wonderfully eclectic mix of 50s formica tables with chrome and vinyl abounding on chairs, it just feels so welcoming as soon as you walk in. Breakfast items captured our attention and I ordered the biscuit and gravy (First ordered the double thinking they were small, but the server advised me that they were really big and I appreciated his honesty) and my husband got the breakfast sammy on a croissant. They were both massive and absolutely yummy! My gravy had just a bit of a kick to it that made it even more delicious and the biscuit was flaky and ginormous! My hub's delight was a two-handed sammy and he savored every bite. Both of our servers were fabulous and very attentive, and it was just such a great experience for a Sunday brunch. We will definitely visit there again!

came here with a big group and no notice. the server was super profesh and just rolled with the punches.

red bird is an old house and it’s pretty cozy.

i had the bagna (i wanna say it’s pronounced bhan ya) and it was a great hangover cure. the drip was good, the service took a little while (again, big group) but for sure i’d go back.

Amazing homemade everything! Even the freezer jam! Had the monte Cristo and bread pudding muffin. So good. Fresh squeezed orange juice, too! Harley was super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back.

Great! Friendly people. Good selection of breakfast, lunch etc. Freshly-cooked, large portions and tastes good. We were there on a busy market day and the restaurant was very busy but we were told our food would take about an hour and we were texted when it was ready. Recommended!

Loved my breakfast sandwich with plant-based sausage. Also had their delicious breakfast quesadilla on another day but forewarning, it is massive. Adorable little Cafe I wish I had in my hometown.

Happy to see vegan options in this town. Very nice customer service. We ordered the vegan quesadilla, the vegan reuben and a vegan scone (the scone was beyond amazing).

Stopped here for coffee when I was passing through Roslyn. Such a nice place! The lady making the coffee was so friendly and nice. The cappuccino tasted amazing and rich. Will definitely be visiting again whenever I’m in Roslyn. 5 stars!

You can eat inside or outside. Absolutely charming. Fantastic sandwiches. The Reuben was outstanding. They also offer 6 in or 12-in sandwiches.
We brought our dog and sat outside. In the summer on Sundays there is the Farmers market which is a half a block away.
The service is slow because it is such a small charming business run by just a handful of people. Be patient it is worth it.

Quintessential little cafe in the adorable town of Roslyn. Retro style with good old fashioned cooking. Good quality ingredients and made with care. Something for everyone including the kids. Highly recommend you give it a try. The mocha's are outstanding too.
