Excellent selection of Artisan cured meats and sausage’s. This is a great little store that has been around for over 100 years in the small town of Roslyn. Only ran by 2 people they provide fantastic service happy to help anyone with any questions on the different flavors of jerky and meat sticks.

Easily the best jerky I've had. Careks is just on a whole different level, I've stocked up in past visits(their jerky freezes well if you're not going to eat it right away), wish I were closer to get some more since my stock is just about gone.

If you haven't tried it and you like meat then this is the spot to hit. The very best fresh jerky and meat sticks. Thanks for treating my belly right ever time.

Best jerky we have ever had! We try and stop on our way to and from Seattle to Pasco… so worth it, great place! Yesterday, we were a bit after 5 and the fine lady allowed us in. Out of the jerky we wanted, so purchased some other things which are now will be on our fav list, too!! Thanks so much for going out of way yesterday to let us in, I’m sure you wanted to close up… really appreciate you… always looking forward to making a stop here!! Highly recommend…

I have been coming here since about 1967! Back then if you weren’t a favorite of ol’ man Carek, he didn’t tell you when the polish sausage was coming out of the smoker. Odds were that it would be gone when you got there.

Good thing that he loved my grandfather! As an adult, I never go round trip past Roslyn without stopping here. In the Army, I brought entire convoys here on the way to Yakima.

If you call and ask her nicely, she’ll probably ship some to you! The pepperoni is AMAZING! Get a couple of 3’ sticks of it! Every flavor of jerky will be the best you’ve ever had too. Of course, it is a crime to not get any bacon either!

But my favorite thing about the place is what hits your nose when you walk through the door!!!!OMG, the carnivore in me starts FREAKING OUT!!

Here’s too many more years!!

Love their beef jerky and jalapeño beef sticks that have just the right amount of kick but not too much. Like that their jerky is on the dryer side. So good and flavorful! It’s worth going to Rosyln for!

I took elk in there when John was alive about 40 years ago. He took out back and showed me his smoker. I swear back then it had a inch of smoke residue on the entire smoker.
I live in Arizona now and they do not ship

I have been coming to Craek's from when I was knee high to a grass hopper. I have fond memories of watching ms Carek make her family recipe jerky and pepperoni amongst the other wonderful items she has to offer and leaving smelling like my self just walked out of her 100 year old + smoker. My favorite is her (honey/garlic) dont know what that woman does but damn it sure is good. If you get the chance please stop in and see this wonderful women and her staff. And even better try her AMAZING products. Truly one of a kind and I am blessed to have this place in my life.

I grew up in Roslyn and this was our local meat shop. I was a regular customer as a kid After travelling a bit of the globe I started to realize what an amazing shop this truly is! I recommend trying EVERYTHING, But for me the Pepperoni and need jerky were my main staple followed up with the landjaeger sausage. Enjoy!

I discovered Carek's by sheer luck 20 years ago. I had just moved to Washington from Arizona & managed to get turned around & basically lost. I stopped in to ask for directions & of all the places I could have asked I'm glad I chose Carek's. I cannot go to the West Side without stopping on the way there & again on my way back. The service is wonderful & the jerky, sausage & smoked meats are absolutely delicious.

Their quality is amazing, you can smell it when you walk in the door. Just a seven minute drive from I-90. Get their Landjaeger And delicious multi-variety beef jerky. I've been coming here for 15+ years. We stop here every time on our way to Lake Chelan. Always store their products in the brown paper bags they provide. It's worth stopping here. Small batch, high quality meats every time. Four times better than Owens Meats. Hours are 10am to 5pm, 7 days a week.

I was a little child in the 60s when my Grandparents would go to Carek's meat market to visit their friend the butcher who made what Grandpa told me was the best Polish Sausage in the world. Having never been anywhere myself I had nothing to compare this yummy sausage to at the time, but I knew Grampa knew at least one thing for certain; the sausage and jerky were incredibly delicious! Fast forward to the 90's and I was on a road trip with my girlfriend (now my wife) and I insisted that we stop for some beef jerky, because I was told it was the best in the world. She didn't like beef jerky before that day. I also bought some Polish sausage and then drove to my grandmothers house. Grampa Chuck was dead by this time, but Grandma Anne was still alive and well, so with a large wrapped package of Polish and some jerky, we drove to Cle Elum to visit my grandma. I went inside and greeted Uncle Sonny and Grandma and after visiting a bit I returned to the car to grab the sausages which upon returning, I could smell before I even reached the open trunk. To my horror, I could find only stuff that didn't matter, but I could not find my precious Polish! Puzzled, I looked around and the only evidence that I found was the shredded paper that still smelled of the wondrous Carek's Sausages! Apparently they had awoken a raccoon or a nearby dog, who stole the entire package! It was too late that day to drive back to Roslyn to buy more, but God was indeed present in the form of Grandma, who had some frozen in the cellar! Possibly from a visit Chuck had bought sometime much previously, since he had been ill for a very long time before dying. But still they were the best Polish Sausages, even if they were pretty old. Over the next several years I made many a trip from Seattle to buy a couple pounds of Carek's. It's now 2018 and I am looking forward to visiting again, all the way from Madison WI! I found ONE local maker of a Polish that actually tasted very good, but the bulk of the Polish Sausages I've purchased in the past few weeks are not even remotely close, one package from a store actually went straight into the woods after a bite or two. I figured they were pretty bad, but at least a raccoon might be able to enjoy them, because I couldn't. After a lot of traveling, I have decided Grandpa Chuck (F) was right and Carek made the best of the best. Hands down.
