I recently had the pleasure of dining at Manakish Oven & Grill, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire meal.

I have been seeing this restaurant for a while and finally decided to give it a try. We went there for lunch and it was pretty empty because it was raining but I still like the beautiful blue vibes around the restaurant with cute chandeliers which we're giving very Turkish vibes. For food we got lentil soup, pepperoni pizza (so happy it's halal), kefta kabob plate, chicken and beef shawarma bowl, beef shawarma wrap (which was loaded with meat), and chicken fries. Everything was super fresh and piping hot. We loved everything cause it was so delicious, fresh and colorful! Will definitely come back!

Great selection of flat breads, plates, and wraps. We had the Lahm-bajin flat bread at the recommendation of our server and we’re not disappointed. Fresh and flavorful. We’d get it again!

Good service and good food. The portions were big too. Chicken shawarma bowl was really good.

I ordered supreme pizza and homemade cut fries online. They were super super good, and they came fresh and hot. Definitely, going to order again.

Great place with tasty food and friendly staff. I had the Cauliflower Eggplant Wrap with fries. Got two orders of flatbread to go as well.

Me and my husband love a good shawarma wrap and we loved this place ! Not only the food was great but the service for great as well. Very nice and welcoming place we are definetly coming back next time we are in the area.

If you love Mediterranean food, @manakishoven got you!! Definitely the best place for Manakish in Walnut Creek. Don't get me started with the Zaatar & Whipped Kefir Manakish! I just love the taste of Zaatar, it's so exotic and delicious.

All the food we ordered was so good, the Beef Shawarma Fries was so good! Must order! The Lamb Kebab Wrap was so flavorful with a hint of spiciness; while the Kefta Kebab Plate was everything you need in a meal, with creaminess from the hummus, crunchy salad, and the meat was so tender and yummy.

Of course, I had to order the Lamb Kebab Salad. It was huge and beautifully made, so refreshing and delish. 🍰Oh, don't forget desserts, we decided to try the Cheese Kanafeh, it was so flaky, cheesy, savory, and sweet — all at the same time.

Really enjoyed their Chicken Shawarma Pizza! Great flavors and good portion sizes.

Cauliflower eggplant bowl was tasty.
The consistency to which the falafel was cooked was good.
Loved the sauce and was given additional sauce.

Place was clean. Food was really good the second time. Owners do pay attention to their customer's reviews, they have modified the chicken Kebab recipe, and it was perfect this time. We didn't try falafel this time but I'm sure next time when we try it it would be better then the one we tried previously.. Service was friendly and time it took to prepare the food was fare, because they can't rush the cooking process.
I hope owners maintain the quality and taste of their food. Presentation is always good.

We really enjoyed our food, everything was fresh and flavorful. My son had a wrap and it was fantastic, so was my chicken kabob plate. Our favorite was the dessert, cheese kanafeh!!!!

Apparently, it's a Lebanese restaurant which is not so evident in Google search. Glad to have found this restaurant. Definitely try their Pita bread. It was so soft and warm. The hummus was slightly on the sour side but went well with pita bread. We also got their pizza. The crust was perfectly baked. It was fresh, crispy and smelled great. The cheese on top of the pizza was not so great. But the herbs used in pizza compensated for it. They have a very nice outdoor place.

A lot of food for a good price.
My wife and I tried lunch here today. Loved it all. We shared bites begrudgingly and agreed that both orders were great. First was a Tri-tip Shawarma bowl with rice. The flavor combinations with the pickled veggies, hummus and a cucumber tomato salad were sooo tasty. Second was the Chicken and Cheese Flatbread with garlic sauce, Onions and Cilantro...just a mild but hearty deliciousness in each bite. Lastly, we had an original Kanafeh. Made with shredded pastry dough, sweet cheese, and topped with crushed pistachio, this was a crunchy, doughy, sweet, creamy dessert. There was a container with cardamom syrup with it, but was already sweet enough.
I would recommend Manakish for lunch.

First time here and was delighted! Great food, fresh food, excellent service! We ordered the the Baba Ganoush with pita bread, great starter and addicting! I had the Chicken Schwarma bowl. It was overflowing with goodness! Husband had Steak Schwarma wrap. Baklava is the bomb! Can’t wait to go back!!

Delicious food, a must visit! Highly recommended the Zaatar and Cheese Manaeesh. The falafel is also worth getting as a starter.

One of the best restaurant with good food. I get the best Chicken Shawarma with fries. The restaurant have inside dine in or they have outside place for dine in. I Don’t have anything else to said but The restaurant is in the good location.

We had a shawarma bowl and a wrap. Generous portions for both. Service was easy and timely. Really tasty. It was my first visit and I'll be back. They have outside seating though car noise can be disruptive

Just visited their soft opening and was pleasantly surprised by the taste and authenticity. We got 2 manakish, 2 sides and a cake.

Zaatar with whipped labne manakish- very authentic, just like Lebanon. Crunchy bottom crust, and soft dough. Nice acidity on the lebne and refreshing tomato/cucumber salad on top.

Cauliflower and eggplant manakish - blew my mind! The deep fried cauliflower and eggplant were cooked perfectly. The harissa sauce stole the show. Absolutely delicious!

Jalapeño hummus - this makes all the store brought hummus taste like garbage. Just like how mom used to make it with a twist.

Babaganoush - delightful, you can tell they used fresh ingredients.

Saffron orange cake - perfect pair with their iced sage tea. Not too sweet and full of flavor.

Tl;dr - If you’re Middle Eastern, expect authentic food. If you’re not, this is the healthiest and most flavorful pizza you can get!
