Good energy and spotless business. I started buying the meat as well. The hot deli rice dishes are very good and the smell of the fresh baked bread is lovely. Best in the area.

Hands down our absolute favorite store to buy our Persian food ingredients! We no longer live in the area and will drive 3 hours to shop here for sweets, meats, and special ingredients and condiments. The selection is vast, but the access to fresh and quality Persian Sweets is what keeps us coming back. Plus the large selection and freshness of their items and produce.

This isn't your rundown, terrible typical deli/corner store... The food is INCREDIBLE, the grocery selection avant-garde, beautiful and unique in the best way, the feel is foreign and inspiring and adventurous.... Went there twice while working in the area, HIGHLY recommend.... Anybody ranking this spot low is out of their mind!

Best place to buy barbari bread. Quite authentic.

Great Persian/Mediterranean store with really rich offerings. The fresh breads are also great but the hot bar and Persian food to go are amazing. Better than most restaurants offering the same. You have to try their tahchin, baghali polo and khoreshts. My family is in love with those now.

I'm revising my review, after shopping here many times in the last year, I've added another star, this is a 5 star place.
The meats are fresh, they have a nice selection of deli meats, different types of flat breads and many Middle Eastern food items. I'll continue to enjoy shopping here.
They also have great tasting hot foods such as kabobs, etc.

Middle eastern grocery store, sell Halal meat and ethnic package food. Friendly people and clean an neat store. They also serve freshly cooked Iranian hot food.
Moderately priced. The best part it is right off 680 highway in Walnut Creek.

Oh my God what a jem. I moved to the area 2 years ago and I can't believe how I haven't shopped here before. Totally kicking myself in the pants. First of all I didn't even know they had a meat section until I walked in the back, which is an excellent sign because the place didn't smell like spoiling meat. Their selection of Middle Eastern bread and pastries is great and fresh. They have everything you're looking for Middle Eastern. On top of it the lady who works there which I believe is the owner has got to be the sweetest and most gracious that I experienced in ALL of Northern California. Wonderful warm smile + great selection + clean store = I'm definitely coming back and you should too.

This place is a gem. It has all the Middle Eastern products and spices you can't find at a larger grocery store. If you're lucky you will be able to get your hands on their fresh baked tannour bread which is amazing. They also have wonderful hot food in the deli.

Good selection of imports. It’s a little pricey but that’s because I get the fancy imported items like from Greece and Turkey and Iran. The stuff I buy imported has less preservatives and chemicals because, unfortunately, USA standard and regulations are below par for additives.
Read your ingredients for ketchup and simple foods like Quaker oatmeal etc. our foods have a lot of ingredients that are banned in other countries. So, yes a little pricey on certain items but the location is great and I can’t find the stuff they have That I want anywhere else so it’s fine

There are certain things I can only get here, like frozen sour cherries, pomegranate molasses, and labne. I really enjoy shopping the aisles to see what new thing I can try.
