Costco Wholesale

This costco is one of the cleanest I have seen even the bathrooms. The selection is what you’d expect from a big box store with prices to match. There are a ton of employees who are all eager to serve as well making this a great all around experience.

Costco is one of the better "big stores" in Chico, IMHO. Their gas station is well organized; even though it's always packed, it doesn't take that long to make your way through. And it's always packed because oftentimes they have the best gas prices in town.

Their eye-glasses department I feel is the best in Chico. They have the absolute lowest prices for frames/lenses versus everywhere else I've experienced. They also have a wide selection of frames for men, which has been an issue for me at other places in the past. Not only that, they took my eye insurance with no problems and I had my new glasses in just 2 weeks.

Then for everything else they sell in the store, they have a nice big variety of items to choose from and their prices are normally lower than other stores. It just depends if you want to buy in bulk or not. Its become one of my family's "go to" stores that we visit at least once a month.

Costco also sells a lot of seasonal, non-grocery, related items too and their selection is always changing (the whole middle section of the store). These items always get me into trouble because it's often stuff that I like a lot but they're usually bigger items. So, my wife tries to steer me away from the middle section of the store once she sees me wandering that way, lol.

The last thing I wanted to mention is their food court. You can basically get lunch for pretty darn cheap, and it's usually pretty good. I know some people come here regularly just to visit the food court area. However, if the lines are really long - I tend to skip on the food court because it can get super crowded with people/carts and the lines can get unwieldy.

Very clean for a Costco with great selection. Only drag was we went on a Sunday so it was super crowded. Worth it for the prices though.
Update: went back on a Friday (december), and despite it being Christmas season, the crowds weren't too bad. Cashiers are far and get you out quick. Great experience.
They had a great deal on an inflatable spa/ hot tub. Price was good.

Love this store it has everything you need it has everything you need and the people that work here are very friendly that work here or very friendly and will always help me find what do you need.

Finally got my membership and the lady at the members help desk was exceptional..Her customer relations skill was amazing ..We got there 30 minutes before closing and never felt rushed..She was friendly and funny..I recommend a membership there ..The savings one will receive is awesome ...We go there for our dog food because my little baby girl loves the Kirkland brand wet dog food ..we save a lot buying ot from Costco instead of online at other stores

Shout out to the optical counter! I always have a good experience but today was just so easy after going to two different local eye drs recently I am most impressed with Costco optical. Special mention to Mindy. You rock my socks.

Great deals on most items. If not they are very competitive. Clean, organized, and they handle many people quite quickly. Gas price is best in town.

What can anyone say, it's Costco. Huge warehouse filled with everything from clothes, housewares, and TV's so large you can see them from across the store. A great deli, pharmacy, bakery goods, and a $5.00 grilled chicken. Big isles and free test snacks. You must admit the staff are well groomed and very nice to be around. All over 9.5/10 because their beverages like cola, lemonade, teas are much higher than other stores. A joy to shop.

Can anyone rate Costco less than 5 stars? Probably only non-members. We're talking cheap bulk goods here folks but be warned ya spend 200$ each time ya visit. Get a membership if you don't got one already.

Post Bidenomics Covid, Costco is still good, but you need to be aware that not everything is a great deal anymore. So be a smart shopper now..

This store is always a blast to shop or work at... The employees are fun, friendly, and always a pleasure to associate with...

We usually shop when there is food for the kids, and ourselves. We had a nice cashier as well.

Costco in general is a pretty cool place to pick up large quantities of food and supplies. This particular Costco is typical less busy than Costco's in Sacramento and Southern California. Their meats are some of the finest and $1.50 hot dog and soda is such a recession buster. Their tire center is usually too busy to take advantage of, unless you want to spend like three hours in Costco. Be wary of buying too much in one package, especially perishables. The place is also notorious for you over spending,....products are all over the place but I do recommend a shopping list unless you're ok with a $300-$400 grocery bill! Finally, the best time to go shopping is right when they open and right when they close, far fewer shoppers make for a much better shopping experience.

Great visit to Costco today! Had to search for some things I had on my list because they move things around so much, but I ended up finding things I didn't know I wanted on the process. I call that a win-win!

Great service, clean store. Busy at times but that's to be expected for Costco. Employees are always friendly and helpful.

I went with the family and it was actually enjoyable. I thought it would be too crowded but it was pleasant.

The usual experience, but a go-to for the rotisserie chicken. U can't beat the price, especially when on a tight budget!

For the first time since shopping at Costco the check out line was short and I was in and out in record time.

I was in Costco Chico this afternoon. I had the most wonderful customer service! Terry waited on me and she was so quick and friendly. All my experiences with Costco Pharmacy over the last 10 years has been spot on! Thanks for the great service.
