Very satisfied with my stay here. Check-in was fast and easy, very courteous, helpful staff. Room was huge, clean and very comfortable. Location is perfect for my needs and rates can't be beat for the quality. Exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks for the great experience!

I think this is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. You're not right in the middle of the city but it's just a drive right across the road to get there. Easy access to I-84. The outside, especially when you first go to check in, kind of reminds you of a roadside motel but the rooms (in the building that I stayed in at least that I know of) have been updated. Nice and modern, there's no gross carpet that's been there for forever, my room had a stove, microwave, full sized refrigerator, and stocked cabinets with the things you need to cook like pots and pans, plates, silverware, and glasses. Bed was super comfortable and the shower was very nice with great water pressure. Nice big windows with a great view of the Columbia River. The door has a cover over the peephole. And the grounds are very beautiful. Each building has its own little area of parking so you don't have to fight to find a spot to park. My only complaint was I had some noisy neighbors that slammed stuff around alot, but thats not the hotel's fault at all. I don't usually write super long reviews but I just wanted to brag on this place! If I ever come back to the Hood River area I will definitely be staying here!

Great central location. Room was clean and well stocked. Grounds were quiet and well kept. Great for family stay. Will be back.

It was so amazing, the view was gorgeous, and it was close to so many good restaurants. Like less than a 5 minute drive. Forgot to take any photos of the room haha.

Beautiful location! The well maintained grounds at Westciff Lodge are a highlight. I have stayed here several times and always enjoy the stay. Easy access, close proximity to great food and recreation. Clean and comfortable rooms. Recommend!

Beautifully landscaped with a spectacular view from the room with a balcony. This place is such a peaceful reprieve. They have tea and decent coffee in the lobby along with cold water dispenser. Cute little playground the kids were able to enjoy. The grounds are lovely to explore and we stayed a night in late June when the flowers were poppin. Bring your camera or iPhone for flower pictures.

Nice location, river view. Rooms are dated but clean and well priced. Unique hotel. Will be back.

Excellent location and customer service. The views are spectacular and you are very close to the main town. Quite place and their garden is wonderful. I highly recommend this location.

HIHGLY RECOMMEND!! Can't say enough good things about this place but I'll try... We had a fabulous stay; this is a really nice, family owned property and it feels like it too! Super friendly, helpful staff. Clean, well appropriated rooms with super comfy beds, a nice sized balcony and fantastic view of the river (river view room). Copious amounts of coffee available and it's gourmet too ~ yummy!! Beautiful walking area that is well lit at night. Pets stay for free and they make you and your pets feel extremely welcome! Could not ask for more; already have our next stay booked for fall :)

This place is beautiful! The hotel grounds are are so well taken care of. Tons of flowers, trees and view points of the Columbia River. They also had great details in the room like a plant, wine glasses and mints. I would definitely stay again!

The only con: bathroom is REALLY small.
Bring bug spray if you want to enjoy the beautiful grounds.. lots of mosquitoes!

Kind and sincere staff, excellent room cleaning, and beautiful view. The front desk was very courteous. I saw a lot of reviews complain about needing updates on the hotel, and while yes, the rooms are in total 70's galore, it's in a cute homey way. It was so nice to step outside and smell the earth in the morning, look out at the view, and chill. The beds and pillows were very comfortable despite my glemlin-esque back posture. Favorite place I've stayed by far, deserving of five stars and more.

Lodging here is perfect! The proximity to the freeway allows for easy access to and from the hotel making you minutes from Hood River shopping and dining on the west side. The property is spacious, relaxing and well kept and is easy to get around with picturesque views throughout. And the relaxed atmosphere of staff and the property truly are the cherry on top. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting Hood River regardless of your reason for visiting. This very well could be the home away from home you’ve been searching for.

The hotel from first glance at the driveway worried me, but by the time we were at check in I was charmed by their garden overflowing with flowers (in October). There were little garden spots all over bursting with flowers! 🌼 Our room was -very clean- and we had a great view of old pine trees.

The White Buffalo restaurant, in walking distance, was one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at! Thanks for the great stay!

Westcliff Lodge is so unassuming from the road, but when you turn into the property you can’t help but be charmed by the accommodations and view. Our room was very spacious and clean and all of the staff was incredibly friendly. It totally exceeded our expectations!

Super cute, quaint little hotel along the gorge. Cool family owned history. We had a room overlooking the water and were able to bring our dog for cheap. Very clean rooms and pleasant staff. Great value with a home like feel!

Didn't stay here, but stopped to walk around the beautiful gardens and look at the baby ducks with our kids on our way through to Salem. It was so amazing that we will be making it a regular stop!

Older, well maintained, clean hotel. Feels very homey (heck there was even a live houseplant in the room) View was amazing - overlooking the Columbia. And the grounds are awesome - lots of seating areas made of natural materials - rock, logs, etc and beautiful plantings. Great shower - large head and good pressure. Bed was comfy. And the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Everyone from front desk to housekeeping acted like it was their own personal home and they wanted us to feel welcome. Really loved our stay and will definitely be back!!
