Larkey Market & Deli

This place is so lovely, everyone there was really nice. I got the blt, and let me tell you it was amazing 🤩. This place beats the New York blt sandwiches. And I can said that since I from New York. It reminded me of New York but even better. Now that I’m writing this review I need to go back there again and eat.

Great local neighborhood deli and convenience store. I just really wish you’d update your hours here if you’re going to change them and close so I don’t get my expectations up for a delicious sandwich and walk way empty handed.

Dropped in to the Larkey Market & Deli for my favorite thing to eat in the morning, a BLTA on sourdough. It hit the spot. The staff is friendly and the owner is a great person to talk to. I sat outside and had my food and coffee with my dog. Free dog biscuits are a plus and Bunny was happy. The neighborhood is really quiet so it was peaceful and pleasant to sit outside. I’ll definitely come back to try more sandwiches and cold brew especially on a Saturday when I can take my time. This deli is a new go-to spot.

It was a pleasant surprise stumbling upon this deli market after visiting Lindsay Wildlife Experience. My cousin and I walked over for lunch from Lindsay Wildlife's parking lot, and got the Salty Dog and Lou's sandwiches.

Two sandwiches with one Coke Zero was about $25 including tip. I absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere, and was so pleased to find a little deli so randomly in the middle of a suburb. The surrounding neighbors have hit the jackpot!

This place is an excellent example of a hidden gem! I love how it’s tucked inside a neighborhood near a park.

Their sandwiches are amazing, especially their BLT. The first time I had it, I thought it looked too plain. I judged it incorrectly! One bite, and my taste buds were jumping up and down for joy.

There’s also a great outdoor seating area where you can chat it up for hours with a friend, which I recently did a couple of days ago.

So if you are looking for no frills, all vibes type of place, I highly recommend you checking this place out.

I’m here now and WOW! Been coming to the area for years and found this gem today. Excellent customer service, delicious Chicken Pesto Sandwich (I mean ridiculously tasty and fresh)!

The best market and deli in the area! The sandwiches are great and the coffee is my favorite out of all the coffee places in town. Every single time I go in, everyone is so incredibly kind and welcoming, and the owner, Kevin, is an awesome guy! I've become quite a regular, and my trips to the deli have been quite a treat. I highly recommend stopping by for some good food whenever you're in the area.

I just found out about this place and I already went here twice this week for a toasted BLT. I thought it’s only right for me to write a comment because my wife and I absolutely love this place so far. A definite recommendation. Very polite workers too.

Great people. Great food. Their sandwiches are pretty standard, the menu is not extensive, and the quality of everything is fantastic! We need more places like this!

IMHO this place is the best deli in the area! Quality of the meats is excellent and the breads are perfect! My only wish is that they have some creative sauces to go with the sandwiches.

We have been going here for over a decade and there have been several owners. The sandwiches are definitely a highlight! But the newest owner, Kevin, has really revamped it into something even more special. I’m so happy it has new life!

I was visiting the area and looking for a good sandwich place. The reviews sold me so I tried it. Such a cute little shop with friendly staff and amazing sandwiches! Everything was fresh and delicious.

Larkey Market is an amazing local market. Their sandwiches are amazing and their coffee is good as well. It is hard to find a place that makes classically good sandwiches and this is it! They also have lots of other things that you might need an a great alcohol selection

My daughter and I were in Walnut Creek and hungry. She’s a big sandwich fan, me - not so much. But I said "Google best sandwich shops near me” and Larkey Market was on top of the list. We looked at the online menu and whoever is their web designer, Wow! The sandwiches (and everything else) looked delicious. So we follow the map and find this cute little out of the way place. Larkey Market uses the sandwich order form method. You check off items that you want on your sandwich; starting with the meat, the bread and all accoutrements that goes with a sandwich. So you customize your sandwich. My daughter ordered a salami and pastrami, pickles tomato and lettuce on sourdough roll and I had a roast beef with avocado, sliced tomato, pickles and lettuce on sliced rye bread. The rye bread is a marble rye! Omg. Our sandwiches were great! So deliciously good! Thank you Kevin! (The proprietor)

Count on delicious sandwiches and yummy cold brew coffee! Great location near Larkey Park. Outside patio eating area is a plus.

The food is delicious every time & all the time ,.....staff is amazing as well... And I eat there at least a few times a week.... I just don't imagine going anywhere else for lunch......so much variety....In the words of Will Ferrell " it's so good when it hits your lip"

Larkey Market I eat for the past months at least once a week, it was one of the best experiences, I can confidently say that the sandwiches are the best around the area, unfortunately I have to move out of the area, for a better offer of work, but if one day I return to the Bay Area,
Larkey Market will be one of my first stops to eat, Thank you Larkey Market, and thank you to your entire team.

Legit little store. Haven't tried a sandwich yet but I hear they are bomb. They have all the stuff you want. Cute girl working there is a a bonus. 😁
