Mangia Bene Restaurant

We were going to Kaiser in Martinez but got there too early than the appointment time. So we looked on Google see any restaurants near by. We saw IHOP close by and pulled in parking lot saw this Italian restaurant. Google says 4.4 stars so we decided to give a try. I ordered presto pasta, my husband ordered lasagna. The bread is so fresh, dipping sauce is very good. Both of our dishes are very tasty and you can taste homemade not frozen ingredients. Believe or not they serve sparkling water. It is very refreshing. We are very impressed by this hidden gem and the daughter of the owner told us they have been there 26 years. The price is super reasonable. I will definitely go back again and highly recommend!

I absolutely love this place. Great food, friendly staff, and quaint atmosphere. The complimentary fresh bread and dip is so freaking delicious. I had the shrimp with Polenta, and it was perfect! This place hits EVERYTIME 👌 🙌 😍

Drove by this restaurant for years and finally stopped in for dinner. The food was amazing. The service was a 10 plus. A hidden restaurant that I highly recommend.

Quiet, intimate setting. The staff are awesome and the food is delicious. There is a wide variety of Italian cuisine on the menu. There is also a back room that would be great for a larger party. Would definitely recommend!

It is a pleasure to visit this restaurant. Cozy and quite with personal service. We were only 3 and enjoyed meal and friendly discussion. The Afugatto desert was amazing, will come again just for that.

My husband and I have been looking for some excellent Italian food at a decent price. Well we just found it tonight at Mangia Bene! We had the Polenta with Shrimp, Chicken Alfredo, and the Garlic Bread with Cheese. Totally awesome! Large portions and lots of bread with sauce. We will definitely be going back.

Very tasty authentic varied Otaluan cuisine. Love the pitcher of sparkling water and bread with dip brought immediately to the table. The best fried calamari, light, fresh. Good wine selection. Great service. I've been coming here for many years!

Awesome. Really good Italian food that comes across as so much more authentic than, oh, say, "Olive Garden" (if that's your idea of Italian food). They even make some of their own pasta. Last time there, there were 7 of us and not one bad meal in the bunch.

Mangia Bene is a wonderful restaurant with great service, great food and the capacity to comfortably serve large groups. We attended a friend's birthday celebration with about 15 people, but I think they could accommodate 20 easily.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. They offer generous portions of delicious Italian food and service is excellent. We had the lasagna, butternut squash ravioli and a kids version of Mac and cheese. The prices are also very reasonable. Definitely recommend.

I've been eating here with my friends and family for years and we absolutely love it! It is hands-down the best Italian food in the bay area! I am a super picky eater and this place never disappoints. The bread and dipping sauce they give you to start is always delicious. I have a hard time not over-eating! I usually get the spinach salad with apples and walnuts to start with. It is wonderful! Then I normally get the four cheese ravioli with creamy marinara sauce. It's beyond amazing! I usually try to save some to take home to have for dinner the following day. All the desserts are incredible too, although I'm usually too full to overindulge. The prices are also extremely reasonable and the service is top-notch. I also love that it's right up the street from my house, which makes it super convenient. Mangia Bene is one of my very favorite restaurants and I hope it sticks around forever!

First time here. Food was very good and so was the service! We had spaghetti and meatballs and chicken alfredo. And yummy cannolis to finish.

My husband and I love this place. This is our regular date night place. Service is usually impeccable but this time we went it was just ok. Food outstanding as always

This restaurant did not disappoint! I got my kids the kids spaghetti, and my husband and I got pasta dishes. We all cleaned our plates! We also got the bread pudding and it was wonderful! We will definitely be returning.

Nice and quite. Not sure if it's always that quite but we went on a Friday night and only a few tables had customers and it made the experience even better
