Games of Martinez

Came here while visiting my brother in town and the store has a really nice collection of dice. A little low on figurines when I visited, but Heather was so nice at the front!! They immediately clocked me as someone that would enjoy textured dice and helped me pick some beautiful dragon scale dice. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again.

Nice store with an endless selection of RPG cards, dice, and various items. They have tables too to sit down.

Just started going here to play Dungeons and Dragons. Staff are all super friendly, great selection of games and accessories available. They also have a range of drinks and snacks. I'm not sure who picks the music here, but they also have pretty great taste!

One of the better card/hobby shops I've ever been to. They have a cool single card checkout method, where you search up your card on a little computer in the back and send the order up to them and they pick it for you. Tons of mtg pre-cons and many other card related items. They have stuff for Magic the gathering, Pokemon, Warhammer, and Dungeons and dragons. Side notes: Nice staff, clean store, fair pricing, they don't buy singles at the moment.

Very knowledgeable, friendly staff and a great selection of games, cards and miniatures! The shop had just recently opened when I went in, and the staff were kind and excited while explaining the events they have planned for the future. I certainly didn't encounter any hostility or rudeness. The friend who I was with mentioned that she hadn't played D&D in a while but would like to get back into it, and the staff was very helpful in pointing out good resources to start with and where we could find them in the store (when they were fully stocked). Can't wait to keep shopping there and (hopefully) play D&D there when the pandemic ends!

Rewriting my review since they moved. Still 5 stars, but now they have a larger section for tables and a much bigger inventory. Lots of events, tournaments, organized play you can be a part of if you jump on the store discord.

I’ve gotten to know the people who work here, and they are such nice and helpful people. Very knowledgeable about games and stuff be had many fun and interesting conversations with them.

To name a few, they carry tons of MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Pokémon cards and accessories, Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Starfinder, Warhammer, Star Wars, and many more. Lots of board games as well. Miniatures, prepainted, blind box, unpainted. Lots of dice.

They have several locations so if you’re looking for something they don’t have, just ask, they may have it at another store.

I’ve been to just about every game store in the Bay Area, and I travel all over and tend to stop at them on my lunch breaks. Games of Martinez is my favorite place so far, even more so than Games of Berkeley.

It's a great little local game store. Currently no cost to use a table as long as they aren't doing any events. Staff are great and helpful it's a nice change of pace from a larger game store chain.

Great selection of board games and table top gaming gear, friendly staff. I went in with a bit of an unfair request (looking for some souvenir-ish toys) and walked out with some reasonably priced, imported-from-China (no English in the packaging) Pokémon figurines. The kids loved them!

Nice selection and the guy there was pleasant and helpful.

Magic and Pokemon cards. They have old and new packs plus lots of singles (cards… and guys I am sure but I’m not looking. Lol.).

Employees and the patrons all seem to friendly and willing to help.

Games of Martinez is such a great store and I'm super thankful they are open and in business and making a big difference in our community.

New store location. 5x bigger then the last place. Excited to have a nice game store in town. Polite and friendly staff.

There is a good selection of tabletop games here. Warhammer, magic the gathering, Pokemon, D&D and decent selection of board games. I do recommend if you are looking for any of the aforementioned.

I have been in here quite a few times it's a great game store for the area. It's right next to raley's and has a great staff who are friendly and helpful.

We bought a tabletop game called Klask from Games of Martinez. SO much fun!! Wow, the whole family has been playing since. Thanks GoM!!

They always seem to know exactly what to say when I have questions, and have an amazing selection, especially when put into ratio with the size of the store.

Really cool employees and good selection for people who like games and cards!
