Taqueria Y Carniceria Martinez

Went taco crazy at this place to satisfy taco cravings and it did the trick! Loved their taco (hard shell or soft). Made the trip worth to come out here to try their food. Tried a variety of meats including:
Grilled chicken
Shrimp
Steak
Pulled pork
Beef tongue

Super good! Service was amazing! Could not wait to come back and recommend to peeps about this place!

Popped in on a whim to feed my contractors. We had different items including a carne asada burrito, a grilled chicken burrito, a torta and some tacos. It was all delicious. Bonus points for the pan dulce for a sweet treat after your meal. I really enjoyed the mom and pop family atmosphere and look forward to returning next time I’m in Martinez and craving Mexican.

Great little taqueria and meat market. I'm impressed with how great their food is. Blown away by the Birria Ramen and the Quesabirria tacos. Been going to this place for over 10 years and it's my favorite little Mexican gem. Really nice people working here too.

This was a great dining experience. I was in on an Amtrak layover and I'm very picky about good food. I was raised in a restaurant family by chefs and what I like about this place is they have old world charm, they still treat you like it's the 70s and they have a great salsa and bean dip to start you off. I highly recommend this eating establishment if you're looking for a positive and delicious traditional restaurant experience.

This place is great. What a gem! Love their food. Would recommend for anyone. I also am a door dash delivery driver that how i found them. They always have food ready on time as well. I pick up there often and they are so kind. Have eaten their 3xs and loved it everytime!

We ate in the outdoor area and it was amazing. Had my first tortas and it was so good. I highly recommend this place

I had the Quesabirrias, and they were phenomenal! A quaint and humble ambiance with traditional authentic Mexican food. Excellent place to grab a bite to eat.

Best breakfast burrito I have ever had.

Wow! Had carnitas tacos and a BCR. The food was very tasty, well seasoned, high quality. I will be here twice a week minimum moving forward. It’s that good.

This place may be small, but the portions aren't. Every item on the menu is individually cooked, and with great care that comes across in everything I've tried here. If that isn't enough, I often order a to go dinner for the family, and pick up marinated chicken, beef, rice, salsa, and all things needed to make another family meal at home. It may be a bit out of the way, but always worth the trip!

My husband and I love this place. Very authentic. I get the Barria. I think it is beef stew so tender and in a yummy sauce. The burritos are so good and the little tacos and all the salsas are delicious! Hope you guys stay here forever!

Impossible to get enough of the tacos here.

SO DELICIOUS! From the first time I came here I have been here atleast once a month ever since. My family loves coming. They are very helpful and nice . You order your food inside at the register and then go outside to get your tacos while they cook them for you. They also have dinner plates traditionally Mexican . Costumer service is above and beyond. Spanish speaking is a plus.
