Eric helped me find the right finely-threaded m3 screws and a few tools to custom mount a CPU cooler and get my computer running smoother than ever! Like the whole store, the hardware aisle(nuts and bolts) is comprehensive, but the people make it the place to go.

The Customer Service here is capitalized because this store values their customers! I always feel welcome and the employees actually WANT to help you!
I've been to the Aces in walnut creek pleasant hill and I would rather drive further for better service. Both of those stores acted like they did not want me there at all.
I appreciate this store's employees for maintaining a positive interaction with customers over the past several years!

As long as I live in this area, I will continue to Go out of my way support this store!

Bill’s Ace Hardware is definitely one of the better hardware stores in the area. The stock and prices are ok, but the employees are excellent. This is the place to come if you need some advice in addition to tools for your project.

You can always find someone to help you here, and they are very generous about giving to Community charities

First time here, not nearly as big as home Depot but a lot less busy. Staff was very friendly and I was immediately able to find what I was looking for! The store has a very compact layout but it was easy to find what I was looking for.

They have it all ,and great service if you need help.

This location is amazing. I called 3 mins prior to close, desperate to find a space heater (I had already been to 5 stores with no luck) they were so nice and stayed and waited for me to show up 11 minutes after closing.

I was greeted at the door by a friendly employee. I was offered assistance by another employee. I was greeted by another employee and finally treated well by the employee at the register. They had what I wanted in a well-organized plumbing department. Also check prices on other items that I will be needing and to my surprise they were lower-priced then Home Depot or Lowe's for what I was looking for. Definitely recommend them

Love ace hardware in general. WAY better than the non existent service you get from big box hardware stores.

These folks are always friendly and helpful.

You stand there for 5 minutes and get asked 5 tones of you need help.

I came in looking for an AC filter. They ended up not having it. But an employee came up to help me as soon as I looked lost. She helped me look around for the it and then we looked online to see if it was available. Its hard to find people who are willing to help and be kind these days. They have an amazing selection and I will for sure come back. Ive come in to have keys made before as well and they were super quick with those!

I would’ve left Dahn a very nice message about how wonderful John was but I missed her by a few moments. John was incredibly well informed about where everything in the store was. And helped me find things I didn’t even know I needed.

Great store for so many years and still a great store to get all types of things , from house paint to water troths for you horse's !
Great People, Great Store, in a Great Town ! Bill is a Great Guy and I say that because I know him to be for he grew up in my naibor hood and he is carrying on the family business pretty well I think and I bought my water heater there and paid less than my friend from town who got his at the other hardware place in town !

Best hardware store in Martinez, and has been so for many decades past. Always very helpful staff. I have never been misled, nor have I ever been sold the wrong item. Excellent Customer Service. Unlike shall I say, Home Depot, or other big chain stores. Prices are always clearly marked.

This is simply the finest hardware store in Martinez, and now serves Pleasant Hill as well. Compared to big box store, which can be great too, you come here when you need a consult, when you need to know what that thingy is called that attaches the other thing to the place where it was attached. When you need to understand the type of paint that works for a surface or which light bulb suits a specific fixture. Great place.

Great place and selection. Having Manual keys made was a life saver as depot and Lowes machines wouldn't make copies.

This is my "new" store after the Pleasant Hill location closed. They stock what I need for my household projects. Employees are very good about asking if I need help. The Clayton Road store is also a pleasant experience. Thanks Bill.

ACE is one of the best hardware stores around, it is my go to hardware store as there is someone knowledgeable to help me with my slightest of needs from a tiny screw to a large item. I was sad to see the closure of the Pleasant Hill store where I bought Propane for my motorhome and I always trusted them to fill it right. Now I found the ACE in Martinez with the same stellar service of Propane and other services. Thank you ACE for a great customer service for the last 25 years for me.

Amazing assortment of Hardware... with a wide range of Sizes and types. Nothing at all,... like the Box stores. If you need very specific Hardware... they will have it. Oh and their Customer Support is off the hook... knowledgeable,... patient,... and truly Helpful.

I’ve spent the past half an hour calling local hardware stores, trying to find a specific item. Nobody has it in stock. When I called this store, they also didn’t have it stock, but Brent (sales associate?) was the first person of all the places I called who actually offered to order it for me, and have it in stock by Tuesday. Yay for him! How do other stores expect us to not migrate over to Amazon if they don’t offer to order items for us? I’m happy to travel the extra mileage to Martinez for the customer service at this store. Brent was polite, helpful, and took initiative. I love it when salespeople do more than take up airspace. Thank you!
