Great tasting food, generous portions and reasonably priced. The servers are friendly and the bartenders make the drinks worth your $. Facilities are clean too!

I used to live in Walnut Creek and visit often. I've moved out of the area and haven't found any place that can match their food or service. So now I travel some distance for the awesome food and fantastic staff. It's worth the drive. You won't regret it and I've been coming here for over 10 years and they've been there longer. You can say they treat everyone like family and cook with lots of love.

Everyone has their favorite Mexican food spot so this 5 star rating is subjective, but the day we stopped by we were on our way out of town. We were impressed by the service right away. Chips and salsa to start was very good (this was a good sign.) I had fajitas and my wife carnitas soft tacos. Both were very good and we were stuffed. Thus place is definitely worth being in the rotation.

Service and food is amazing! It’s become one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The service is fantastic and the workers are very personable. One of the owners Cathy is very friendly, personable and helpful. Our server I think he was named Grant was fantastic. Very personable and gave great food recommendations! We had the Chips and salsa, Carne Asada Tacos and burger and they were phenomenal! The food had so much flavor you don’t even need to add any sauce, salt or pepper! Would highly recommend! Nice cozy restaurant with bar, good food

The chicken mole was outstanding! It's my favorite dish in general and most places don't quite get it right but they nailed it here! My lady got the combo plate and enjoyed it as well. We'll be back.

The food here is great! May is wonderful. I've known her since forever. She always make us feel at home and just part of the La Fogata family. I live in Seattle now, but i have no quarrels coming here for the food and best of all to see May.

The BEST mexican restaurant in the area!!! Fresh food, top quality meats even the chips r made fresh. Staff is fantastic & the owners r wonderful!!
