Flares Bridal

I went to over 12 dress shops in the Bay Area, as well as a few in New York City (Kleinfields included), to find a dress suitable for my destination wedding in Lake Como, Italy. Flares was by far my favorite. Their selection is always beautiful and great for any budget. Their staff is incredibly helpful and did everything to make my dream dress a reality.

Flares was the first wedding dress salon I visited on my hunt for the perfect pink wedding dress. I fell in love with the first dress I tried on (it was displayed in the window and got me into the shop in the first place). But it wasn't pink. I tried on a lot of their dresses and liked them all, but the first was my favorite. I didn't buy right away because I wanted to keep searching for a pink dress, and my consultant Cynthia was so understanding and put no pressure to buy right away.

As I stated earlier, I went to many other shops but that first dress from Flares was the one I couldn't get out of my mind. So I went back and Cynthia immediately remembered me and my favorite dress. I knew putting it back on that it was my dream dress. Expect it wasn't pink. But Vee, the seamstress at Flares, told me she could alter it to make it pink and she did. I purchased pink tulle and she spent the time helping me figure out how to layer the tulle to get the pink effect I wanted. She then added the pink tulle flawlessly into my dress, as if it came that way. Flares was also great at understanding my time constraint for alterations due to my destination wedding. They were upfront about all pricing for the alterations and were so wonderful every step of the way.

Thank you everyone at Flares! I have gotten so many compliments on my dress. It is the pink wedding dress of my dreams.

Melissa was a sweetheart and was so incredibly patient and knowledgeable. She knew every dress in the collection so well and was able to give us great pairing and suggestions along with notable tips. Great job Melissa!

I found my wedding dress at Flares Bridal with the help of Lissa who actually recommended the dress after seeing what I had picked to try on, and it complemented my body type and looked great on me. I am so thankful! I went to another bridal shop where everything I tried on seemed to be made for someone very slim with no hips or any fat around their mid-section (I’m 5’4 and 153lbs for reference). What I enjoyed about Flares, is you can go around and pick your own dresses to try on rather than having someone else pick things for you that they think you might like. They’ve also been very accommodating in making sure they are available when I am able to come into town from Southern CA for the dress pick up and initial try on, to the hemming, and the same-day final alteration appointment. They’ve also been very friendly every time I’ve called as well. I would definitely recommend checking out Flares in your search for a wedding dress! :)

This was the place for the full "say yes to the dress" experience! I was worried about finding a beautiful and flattering dress as a fuller bodied bride, but they made it so easy and I was able to find the dress of my dreams!
I was an out of state bride and they made my fitting/pickup process extremely easy and painless. They got all of the fittings done in 2 days and I was able to take the dress back on the plane with me (they even helped me put it in my carry on bag!), get it steamed, and wear it on the big day.
I can't say enough about how professional and kind every member of the staff I interacted with was, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for their wedding dress.

After 5 boutiques and trying 40 dresses, I said YES at Flares! As a curvy bride, I was in tears on the way to Flares thinking I'd never find my dress. I went to an exclusively plus size shop before here and had an awful experience so I was thrilled when I walked into Flares and immediately got such great service.
Lissa worked me in last minute and was SO kind. Cynthia helped me find my dress while making it fun and made me feel so comfortable. She also respected my budget and helped steer me away from options that I'd spot that were gorgeous, but unaffordable for me rather than trying to push me to splurge like other shops did.
I can't stop thinking about my dress and can't wait to wear it! Thank you so much Lissa, Cynthia and everyone at Flares!!! I'll always remember this incredible experience <3

I had an amazing experience at Flares Bridal. Firstly, making an appointment online was easy and straight forward. You have to pay a fee for the appointment and they confirm your appointment with you a week before. Secondly, the staff were very friendly, easy to communicate with, and were helpful in clearly pointing out our options. Lisa worked with me and she was great. She made me feel comfortable, listened to my thoughts on the dresses, and provided different options. Overall, 10/10 experience.

I would recommend Flares to future brides! As a June 2022 bride, I am happy to have found my dream dress at Flares and was very happy with the process. Ray helped my sister find her wedding dress back in 2014 and it was such a treat to work with Ray for my wedding as well! Ray is so sweet and it comforting and honest as well, which I appreciated when trying to find the right dress, size etc.

The showroom is a great experience not only as a bride but for my sisters or guests that attended visits/ fittings with me. I also had my dress alterations done through Flares which I was happy with, and they were patient and helpful as it took a couple tries to get the alterations how I wanted it to fit. Flares was communicative and organized through the ordering and fitting process, I felt in great hands leading up to the big day. Not to mention, I still love my dress looking back at photos and I am so happy to have worked with Ray and the Flares team!

OMG!!!! I am in love with Flares Bridal & Lisa!!!! I don’t know where to start.. Lisa made this experience the best ever. I showed her what style of dresses I was looking for and she saw my vision and picked them out. She was super personable and helpful. I had a large group with me & she was accommodating to us all. I found my wedding dress in less that 1hr with the help of Lisa. She helped to accessorize the dress & help me to see what it would look like on my wedding day as much as possible. The dresses they have here are amazing. I didn’t end up going with the dress in the picture, but it was the runner up! The prices are definitely reasonable & when you tell them your budget - she definitely stayed in it and didn’t sway outside my budget.
I honestly loved my experience & I love Lisa.

Flares bridal is the bridal shop to go to! They have so many beautiful options. I worked with Ray and she was nothing less than wonderful! She was helpful, provided
options and guidance, made me feel comfortable, and gave me a perfect experience. I ended up saying yes to the dress here and couldn’t be happier!

Amber and the team were fabulous to work with! Because of the pandemic and not having family local, I did the dress shopping on my own. It was great having Amber's expertise, she provided so many great options and supported me through the entire process which made this one of my easiest decisions for the wedding! One thing I wish someone would have told me when I went for my final fitting was to take a video of how to do my bustle/train since I was by myself and would not be doing my own bustle. This resulted in another trip from San Jose to Walnut Creek the week of the wedding which was very inconvenient but it all ended up working out okay.

I chose flares for my first (and only) wedding dress shop because two of my best friends said yes to the dress here! We made an appointment for a Saturday morning and Ray was our consultant - we LOVED her.
I didn’t have a clear idea of what kind of dress I wanted, but flares had their sample sale so I figured I’d go just to try things on and hopefully feel inspired. I had no intention of purchasing a dress but Ray was amazing; I told her our budget and she did her best to find styles that were within my price range.

Ray made me feel comfortable, beautiful, reassured, and heard. She really listened to what I said about each dress I tried on to find THE ONE. I had no idea what I was looking for, but when I tried on the last dress she pulled, it was PERFECT. It was everything I had described; a combination of everything I loved about each previous dress.

I found my dress and Ray assured me that each alteration I wanted was possible and walked through the process with me. I feel confident in her abilities and would absolutely recommend Flares to any bride.

Lisa was so wonderful in assisting my daughter with finding her wedding dress. They have so many selections of beautiful dresses, I was not surprised that my daughter was able to find the ‘one’. Lisa and her team are very nice and I strongly suggest going here if you are looking for a wedding dress. I’m sure you will find the ‘one’ here!

I am so lucky to have been to this place for a friend’s dress shopping day as her bridesmaid last year. We had a really pleasant experience and she fell in love with her dress.

Fast forward to my dress shopping day and the same friend introduced me to Ray. She is the sweetest, most attentive, and helpful bridal consultant! Ray was so patient with me with all of my questions via text after the first session, while I was still deciding between dresses. We set up another try on and I couldn’t say no! Ray is a gem and helped me to find my dream dress!

One word RYMONDA !!!

I went dress shopping with my Best Friend 2 months before my wedding and as soon as I was checking in, the Manager Rymonda greeted me and said she would like to personally assist me so I can find my Dream dress since my day is coming up quick . This is the 3rd bridal shop I've gone to and honestly have had great experiences so I kinda knew what to expect, but somehow she exceeded all my prior expectations.

Rymonda was very sweet, nice and calm from the beginning. I told her my budget and the styles I was looking for. She let us pick the dresses we thought we're nice and she selected her shares. I KID YOU NOT, the first dress that I tried on was just beautiful and thought it may be the one, but she said try the other ones we picked so I don't feel like I settled, the dresses we picked were great but the one she hand picked was the ONE!!! I don't know how she understood what l was envisioning in my head better than I did but this woman has a gift ! I love that she stayed and respected my budget and worked with it and still somehow pick the most absolute perfect dress. She was never pushy and even gave me advice and tips on my whole look for my special day.

I purchased my dream wedding dress that same day & I absolutely would recommend Rymonda to all my friends and Family!!

I absolutely loved my experience at Flares Bridal. Ray was amazing and helped me find the perfect wedding dress. She was patient but efficient as I was able to try on 10+ dresses during my appointment. Everyone who worked there was very kind. I've been to other bridal stores, but this one was my favorite. I loved the variety of dresses they had, as well as the customer service. By far, one of the best wedding decisions I made was working with Lisa at Flares Bridal in Walnut Creek! From the very start, trying on different wedding dresses was such a calm and enjoyable process. They were so attentive and really listened to each of my requests. Recommending Flares to all brides! This is the one shop i did not have to google, my mom and I always drove by and gushed at the dresses by the window. When it was finally time to make an appointment last summer, Ray was my consultant and she is fabulous! After showing her my Pinterest and describing my wedding vibe, she picked out several amazing dresses within my budget, and I said yes to the second dress i tried on. Ray was incredibly trustworthy and most importantly she was not pushy. I did have another appointment at another local bridal shop and can say with certainty my experience at Flares was superior. The shop is bright, clean & complete with kind & professional staff. Will be going back for other accessories asap!

Ray was incredible and so thoughtful, and made my experiences here so lovely. I really appreciate her attention to detail and she listened to all my wishes for my dress and turned them into a reality.
