I dropped in today to have my bike checked thinking I would need to make an appoinmemt after the inital check. After a quich check, I was assured everything was operating well....and at no cost! I will definitely return. Frame Up Bikes was recommended by a friend. I immediately recommend this business to two friends.

Frame Up is probably the best bike shop I've ever used regarding fast, no nonsense service and repairs, as well as extremely fair prices. The staff are all super cool and polite. Highly recommend!

The best bike shop for high-end mountain bike service in the East Bay. Top notch mechanics, fast but always spot-on service, and super friendly community-focused shop culture. The only place I take my mountain bikes for service, period. Have had them service my Yeti and Santa Cruz mountain bikes and have never experienced anything but exceptional service.

I've had nothing but great experiences with Frame Up. They helped finish a gravel bike build for me, they did some great maintenance and suspension servicing for my MTB, and every time I'm in the shop they are friendly and willing to just chat about bike stuff. Support your LBS!

Great service and super friendly staff. I needed to get the down-tube shifters fixed on my road bike from the 1980's. These guys went above and beyond to get everything in tip top shape. Definitely recommend and will be going back.

I was referred to Frame Up Bikes by Brian Kennedy #BKXC and glad I took the advice! I've been to many shops that quickly made me feel put off because I'm not one of the cool guys that know enough about bikes. Chris was super friendly and is obviously very knowledgeable. Frame Up has a great vibe that made me feel like I was in exactly the right place. The store appears well stocked at competitive prices. Best bike shop I've been to in the entire area, highly recommended!

Awesome shop with lots of great bikes, gear and knowledge!

I was in the Walnut Creek area to see family and I was able to stop in, rent a bike (an awesome Orbea Terra) and chat with the great owners and staff.

I got a lot of great info on local trails, routes and conditions.

They were great about putting my pedals and saddle on the bike and getting it set up how I wanted it for my ride.

I love that they offer all stock bikes as a demo!

I can’t recommend Frame Up Bikes enough!

Went on one of the coolest group rides ever! These guys are one of a kind and the best you could possibly ask for! It was awesome to meet such nice people in the mtb community that were willing to lend a hand when my rear shock decided it didn’t like its job anymore.
Shout out to Chris, who’s one of the owners for helping me get back out on the trails for the rest of my trip up to WA. And Ron who was the first person I met and for showing me a good time!
If you’re looking for the best, look no further if you are in Nor Cal!

What a wonderful shop!

They were able to squeeze my repair in when other shops were weeks backlogged. They diagnosed my problem, quoted me a very fair price to fix it, and then fixed a couple more minor issues as part of the same repair at no extra cost!

I will definitely be heading back when I need more work done.

Best bike shop in the Walnut Creek area HANDS DOWN! After my two experiences here I will not let another shop work on my bikes again (vintage road bikes and full sus mtb).

Got turned away at two other shops that were either too busy or told me they couldn't do it. Not only did FUB say yes they also had the parts I needed in stock.

Chris was the one who helped me out, he had a lot of knowledge and expertise. I also appreciate the fact that they are open during the SIP.

Called a couple places regarding a repair or possible replacement to my chain ring. All the guys there were very easy to talk to and knowledgeable. They were focused on up-selling me but instead were honest! Will absolutely be going back for all my repair needs!!

I couldn't find anywhere to help me, then these guys told me to come down and if it was something easy they'd do it right then & there. They got me right in showed me the issue. They were out of the part I needed, so they didn't even charge me for their time. Absolutely suburb customer service. I will definitely be back next time I need my bike serviced.

What I love about this bike shop is how knowledgeable they are about not only the bikes they sell, but repair as well. Now, granted repairing a bicycle isn't like open heat surgery, but I've been to a number of places where bike techs don't adjust my bike so it rides better than when I brought it in. If you're looking for bargains, none will be found here. But if you are in the market for high-end bikes (both road and dirt), this place is very good and the staff is super cool.

Stopped in today on a bike ride, Just off the Iron Horse Trail. Tom and Chris greeted me with a nice good morning warm welcome. This type of bike shop is a nice change from most retail shops, These guys are into bikes! I'm into the coffee bar hang out and talk bikes atmosphere.

I have a Cervelo R5 that I build from scratch myself. Once the job was done, I tried to adjust the special wedge system seat clamp but soon realized that it is stuck and it's not going to move. I took the bike to a very famous bike shop in East Bay to look at it. After leaving the bike there for a week, they claimed that they worked on it for an entire day and yet no luck. They also said they called Cervelo and followed their instruction and came to the conclusion that the bike must be shipped back to Cervelo and if determined that it is still under warranty I will get a new frame. I decided before doing anything else, I have another bike shop take a look and that's when I found Frame Up on google map. Amazingly enough in less than 15 minutes they manged to pull the wedge clamp out without any damage to the carbon frame. They also clean the seat post. I was happiest man on earth at that moment. They also didn't want to charge me but I felt obligated to pay something. This is the most professional bike shop in the area hands down. I will not bother going anywhere else.

These guys are consummate professionals. They quoted me on a repair job and then found out it would cost more half way through and didn't charge me more than the quote. They are nice, quick to act and did an excellent job. You can't really ask for more.

Hands down best bike shop in the Bay. Chris and Tom treat every one of their customers like family. From leading weekly rides down to a friendly greeting when you walk in the door, its clear FrameUp puts a lot of effort into being a positive influence on the east bay bicycling community!

Finally, a bike shop that does what they say there are going to do when they say they are going to do it while also getting it right the first time. These guys know what they are doing...no attitude, great customer service, and reasonable rates. A great find.
