Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop - Martinez, CA

We went in today, they got our order, made our sandwiches fast, checked us out, and we were out the door. When I say the Goomba was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had… Y’all have to try it. Support your local shops.

Ordered Goombas, the Deli and garden salad. Excellent customer service. Only thing is resteraunt is dark inside and it was rainy day so I grabbed to go versus sitting inside.

Sunni was incredible. She was the only person there but managed to somehow not show how much work she was doing. She smiled and gave me excellent customer service. Usually Mr pickles has at least 3 employees even when they're slow so it's pretty impressive that she was able to do it all herself, she must be a manager. And if she's not, she should be! I'll be going out of my way to come to this location from now on thanks to her and how perfectly toasted my Reuben was.

These guys make fabulous sandwiches. Really good value. Super fresh ingredients.

I live in the Martinez area, and Mr. Pickles has turned into a go-to spot for me and my kids in the evenings because of the staff's friendliness and helpfulness. They also give out free cookies to the kids, which makes my kids happy, and the sandwiches are so flavorful that it's worth visiting again and again.

Coworker went for lunch, I got an albacore tuna spinach wrap with avocado, OMG it was great eating delicious and healthy at the same time! They threw in a cookie too! The water and chips are mine, BTW

I've been going to Mr. Pickles for a while, and I've never been let down. The Hot T, which has been my go-to favorite for the previous two weeks, has been on my latest menu. I believe everyone should at least try it once.

Friendly people working there and my sandwich was delicious. Nice atmosphere and heard two Vampire Weekend songs qhile I was here.

Very good sandwich with super high quality ingredients! I don't even like pickles and they weren't offended. They made the sandwich without them. Highly recommend the Italian. Sourdough bread is superb.

The young ladies working on 10/19/19: I thank you. I needed a Pastrami sandwich that would satisfy a craving. I don't eat the meat often and sometimes I'm let down by my selection at other establishments. Not today, and not at Mr. Pickles. Ladies, the sandwich surely did satisfy and I'll be back again next time I have the hankering for a spectacular sandwich. I might even go for another recommendation just because this one made it SO worth it.
Only thing I FORGOT to mention was that I wanted it toasted but it ended up being so good I didn't even care. And now it's gone😊

Love this sandwich shop! Delicious sandwiches and great service. The clerk saw my 2 yo was super cranky and gave her a juice box and a cookie! How thoughtful. I really appreciated that.

Excellent sandwiches and very helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend ordering over the phone during the lunch rush. Learned my lesson the 1st time I went after waiting in line about 30 mins. I'm confident though that staff will become faster and wait lines will shorten.

Amazing,used to go to T....the bread crapp.I only go to mr. pickles have the best bread ever!!! fresh everday. sour,sweet wheat and Dutch crunch..very friendly people,and you get a cookie free

The Pastrami,tri tip and barbecue chicken sandwiches are pretty good I liked they have a large menu with a variety,Nathan was very helpful in recommending what to get for my first time there(bbq chicken)I would recomend trying them out,all around better than Subway or togos hands-down!will definitely keep going back!
