I have been a Talbot's customer since 1985 and can always count on fit and quality. This Walnut Creek store is spacious and well-stocked with friendly and service-minded sales associates. Unfortunately this store will CLOSE PERMANENTLY after this Saturday August 22. The sale prices on all clothing and shoes are amazing right now.

I had recently lost weight and needed new clothes and a new style. I decided on Talbots because of the classic style and well made clothing. They also have very good sales and specials. I had an excellent experience with the sales people with their suggestions, expertise and attention to detail. They KNOW how to dress people. They even made it fun for me. I now have a stylish, comfortable set of clothing and jewelry that I can wear anywhere. I can't thank them enough for their time and attention to make a new woman out of me.

If you would look in my closet you would see many clothes from Talbot's! Love the sales, and the quality of the clothing.

Visited with my wife today. Found the staff too busy to acknowledge us, although few customers were in the store. Clothes choices don't seem to be the quality we used to see at Talbots. Carpet is really filthy and ought to be cleaned/replaced. Perhaps just on the downhill slide, hope not.

Unhelpful staff and was completely ignored by everyone working there. Even when asked staff gave a bland response and not willing to look up anything if other stores nearby have it. The store appeared disorganized and poorly laid out.
