Amazing food! Order was perfect, despite short staff and down an oven. Friendly staff with great service. The food quality beat out the service, only because it was so over-the-top incredible! Will come back any and every time I’m in the area. Hell, it’s worth a special trip! That good.

A really nice little upscale Cafe. Good beer and wine list. The chicken and spaetzle soup was great. We shared the Mango Chicken Sandwich and the Truffle and Chicken Pizza.

Had a lovely late dinner at The Heyday Cafe. The service was fast, friendly and attentive. All the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had the roasted garlic bulbs, Caesar salad, and the truffle chicken pizza which was fantastic with a rich blend of gooey cheeses and tender chunks of free range chicken.

We had Lobster Bisque, pizza and a Hey Day salad. By the way. If you're into salads this place has great eclectic choices. Furthermore the entrees are even more quixotic. Duck. Exotic fruits. Imported meats. This place has a little something for everyone.
And the staff is wonderful. Very attentive. Even when there's a rush.

Omg the crab cake sliders and a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. PERFECTION!! Great place to treat yourself to good food and wine after some shopping downtown. Highly recommend. Great wine list, service, and ambiance.

Found this spot while exploring around. Came in right at opening time, got a seat immediately even though they already had a lot of reservations ahead of time. The food is really delicious, great selection of interesting food to choose from. The waiter was very courteous and knowledgeable. We loved this spot.

Wow!!!! Best pizza I have EVER had. No joke. The manager is so accommodating. Food was running a little behind and he brought out fresh lobster bisque soup. He also provided an excellent truffle oil as a side for our pizza. I am in heaven. If you are in the area, this is a MUST!

Impossible burger (vegetarian) and lobster bisque soup. A dam good meal. Hands down best lobster bisque I've had in northern California. (Born and raised) I will be back for the bisque at a minimum.

Excellent customer service! The sliders was the bomb plus that sauce they used was out of this world! The potato salad was a tad salty for my liking.

Oh my Goodness!!! My son took me to dinner at Heyday Cafe which has been one of his very favorite restaurants since they opened about 17 years ago... we've always loved our meals there! The food is absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong with any entree. We love, love, love the Duck!!! Beautifully presented and so perfectly done and oh so delicious!!!! The Salmon is just as perfectly done and beautifully presented. The Duck Pate plate is perfectly delicious as well. We can't say enough good things about Heyday! Enjoy!! Another wonderful thing is that the owner makes time to make the rounds to each table to say hello and see how everything is. Just as if he has been your friend for years. No wonder everything is Perfect all of the time. It shows he cares and if there is room for improvement he will make it happen. Go and enjoy yourselves! ♡

SUCH a good stop for a delicious salad. It was a hot, hot day and I was so soothed by this beautiful bunch of greens. The Heyday Salad is the perfect healthy comfort food. Service is stretched thin but very kind and doing their best for this bustling cafe!

Such a great place with a feel good vibe. Food is spectacular and service is impeccable. My go to place several times a week. I wish to eat quality food and the good news Heyday Cafe only serves quality food.

Great food, service, decor and location! Southern turkey sandwich and lobster bisque was delicious. Boyd, our server, was super friendly too.

Safe place to stop with delicious food! Customer service set me at easy being a visitor just passing through to Tahoe. Would definitely recommend and definitely stop again.

Great food and people here. Patio open for covid, can make reservations. Also the Brass and Oak home decor shop across the street is awesome :).

Stumbled on this place and it was awesome. Greek salad amazing and chicken truffle pizza awesome.

The food was excellent. Since our group was wine tasting that afternoon, we shared a bottle of red wine which was very good. I did see that they offer a variety of beers on tap which I normally prefer. The waitress was great, very relaxed yet attentive. This is a very nice western saloon offering excellent food and a good variety of beverages.

New favorite spot. Food was GREAT and reasonably priced. Must try the Blood Orange IPA.

I didn't eat inside but it looked cozy. I got the food to go and so by the time I got home it was a little cold. It was still pretty good, but I bet it's even better in the restaurant served hot. Got sausage pizza, sausage was good. Crab cakes were standard but good. The Greek salad was good too. Try it.
