Stopped by for some snacks for my flight and for my kids. This is definitely way over priced, hence 4 stars. They have good collection of snacks.

Well. First time for this type of review. Ok so I’m already a hostage to the airport post security since you can’t bring any liquids through. Sooooo, now if you buy a bottle of soda, Coke, Dr Pepper, water, they charge you 5 cents for returnable container. Ok. I have no idea where one might return a plastic bottle, and more to the point I’m getting in a plane…..wherever I’m going they won’t be giving me 5 cents for this recyclable bottle. I asked how to return…uh don’t know. Said I can’t return elsewhere….said “too bad I guess”.
Final answer, don’t buy drinks at LAX.
They are stealing 5 cents from every traveler for every drink. Effectively a new tax on travelers. Thank you California for another first.
