Best Western Plus Manhattan Beach Hotel

Room was very large. It had a nice wet bar with microwave, refrigerator and coffee machine. It also had a decent size desk and a sofa with coffee table. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom had a vanity completely separate from the shower and commode. The shower was updated. The lobby was nicely appointed and there was a very nice outdoor courtyard. There isn't too much around walking distance, but the area seemed safe. The property and room were very clean and the staff was very nice. I would stay again and was pleasantly surprised how nice this property was.

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights and we had a very enjoyable experience. We were greeted with a smile at the front desk and efficiently checked into our room. The room itself was quite nice - sort of a mini suite with a kitchenette. The bed was comfortable and most of all it was quiet which was a pleasant surprise given the hotel is immediately adjacent to Pacific Coast Highway.

Underground parking was plentiful and easy to get in and out of. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options in the self service buffet. We enjoyed eating in the courtyard and I appreciated the sugar free pancake syrup that was at the table.

The unlimited Starbucks coffee was a nice plus and my wife really enjoyed the nice selection of teas, both of which were available all day.

The location of the hotel is very convenient for the South Bay cities. Close to the Manhattan Village shopping center and not far from the beach.

We would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a quiet comfortable place to stay in the South Bay for a reasonable price.

Clean, updated rooms. Quiet building, not too much noise between walls and the amenities were perfect. Good rate for quality stay. No super frills, but there's free breakfast. 20 to park daily regardless of status of loyalty program.

Very safe area. There is a LAPD patrol 🚓 vehicle on the side street 24/7. They have a small eating area that serves breakfast. The omelets wow! Friendly staff and great patio area. Olive Garden and several other businesses in walking 🚶‍♂ distance. Pricey but nice getaway!

The service and flexibility is what really made it that 5th star. No hidden charges or strange exclusions, and the breakfast was one of the best serviced I've had a cross the country staying in relative low cost hotel/motels.

Well kept facilities, clean and modern. Friendly staff, safe surroundings. Breakfast was fresh, hot and delicious. A waffle bar, Yogurt parfait, large cereal and bread selections. Along with juices and coffee bar.

We often stay at Best Westerns and staying here was one of our top experiences. The room was quiet and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I like their bath amenities (I like the smell). We liked that they had a variety of different flavors of waffle batter and good coffee at breakfast. The location was good for us; there are stores and restaurants in walking distance and we walked to the beach too (about 30 min walk to the pier). There was a bit of a downside which was the elevator seemed pretty old and was slow. Overall, we would like to stay here again.

Beautiful hotel and large, comfortable room. Great location just a few miles from LAX. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone flying out of LAX.

I set my expectations low since I haven't stayed in a budget hotel since I was a kid. We chose this hotel for the location and I wasn't expecting much, but this place surprised me. The room is small but clean. The breakfast is excellent with rotating hot foods and 6 or 8 kinds of waffle batter and loads of toppings for oatmeal, including aside berries and sliced almonds. The fitness center is small but well appointed and more importantly empty so I can use whatever I want whenever I want. Staff is very helpful and the Courtyard is very quiet, so we're having a nice relaxing stay.

Looks so clean , rooms are big enough for family . They literally has everything in the room. My family and me love this place thank you

This Best Western is perfect! The staff is wonderful and professional, and our room was clean and tidy. The patio area has a pretty garden, and the continental breakfast was huge - omelettes, gluten free waffles, fruit, cereal, almond milk. Water pressure in the showers is great. There are a ton of stores and restaurants in the area, and Manhattan Beach is great.

We stayed here and walked to local restaurants & shops. The room was so nice and clean with beautiful decor. The room had a full kitchen and even a dishwasher!

The Great Western PLUS in Manhattan Beach is absolutely beautiful! Brand new, renovations, clean as a whistle, when you walked into the lobby there was a fresh scent.
This hotel is spotless, so clean and friendly, beautiful atmosphere, breakfast in the morning, wonderful attendants and front desk staff, and perfect location!

Unlike other surrounding hotels in Manhattan Beach, our stay, here was absolutely superb! Thank you. best Western for providing us with a comfortable stay in a most spacious suite with a full kitchen separate bedroom area for an unbelievable low price. The best, hands-down.

Didn’t really matter to us but dust FYI breakfast was worse than hospital food. They do have Starbucks coffee which is great!

We stayed at the hotel for almost a week. Very nice and friendly staff. Thanks to Sergio, Rosa, Maria, Hector for a wonderful stay. Hotel has a very good location with a pleasant 1 mile walk to the Manhattan beach. Good breakfast and coffee available any time. Very well maintained and clean hotel.

As soon as I opened the room to my beautiful, spacious suite, everybody exclaimed: "THIS CANNOT BE A BEST WESTERN!" From the friendly, smiling check-in by Sergio to the deluxe bathroom and roomy, tastefully decorated interiors, everything far exceeded expectations. The suite allowed for complete privacy and everything looked brand spanking new. It was affordable luxury at its best. We loved the high-end decorative touches such as plantation shutters in every window, modern lighting features, and a doorway that overlooked the courtyard. The kitchen was fully decked out and every need of the weary traveler was considered in the amenities. Bravo! Will never look at Best Western again with a dismissive eye.

So i was hoping that this hotel was going to good but it was amazing. My wife and her mother are not form the United States and i was afraid of it being bad but this hotel is perfect. Honestly worth the price and the location is perfect. In a good and safe area not far from the beach. Honestly will stay here again. The rooms are really clean and up-to-date. The paid parking is worth it. And the staff are friendly. And willing to help out. With all the good the only down side is that there is a 100 deposit a night that your will get back i feel like it should be a little lower. And the grab and go brake fast is what ever. But i would recommend this to my friends and family
