I've throughly enjoyed every shopping experience I've had at this store. Every employee I've had the pleasure to do business with has been extremely knowledgeable with outstanding customer service.

I've been fit, recommended, customized and impressed every time I buy a new pair of running shoes.

My most recent purchase of the Mach X shoe by Hoka has helped improve my speed and increase my distance.

Came into Village Runner because I’ve been struggling to find the right shoes for different types of runs. The store associates were incredibly kind, friendly and very helpful. Dan was extremely knowledgeable; able to answer all of my questions and address my curiosities regarding footwear product and recommended some specific gels for my long run. Definitely come here if you are a runner looking for the products to improve your runs

Places like this are one of the main reasons I get excited about new shoes.
Jim was such a help, knew exactly what I might be looking for based on my old shoes, and guided me through the many options.
Next time you look for new running shoes, this is the place to visit.

Love this shop for all my running needs! They have a good variety of products and everyone who works there seems to be very knowledgeable on what they sell.

Also, I am a high school teacher and a running coach and I had 1 student in need of a pair of sneakers for a race we had. This shop donated a pair of shoes to this student and it truly made his day. He will now be able to train for the LA marathon thanks for the kindness of this shop.

Excellent selection of women's running shoes. Although I am an avid walker, Mike the store associate was super helpful in getting me into exactly the right pair of sneakers. It's a small store, but don't be fooled. They have a great inventory of high quality sneakers. Highly recommend!

What incredible service! Jeff is so incredibly knowledgeable and caring. I bought a pair of Saucony’s that did not work for me and after a few days came back. They were already worn outside the house and he worked with me patiently to find and exchange for the right shoe. He explained the technicality and best practice behind buying the right shoe and waited for me to find the right fit and color.

I will be coming back to buy new shoes from Jeff again and highly recommend supporting this Village Runners over any other store!

This was my first time visiting a running store. Before I got my running shoes from retailers.

The young man that assisted me on Saturday, December 11 at around 5:00 pm was extremely patient and let me try on shoes and walk around in them as much as I wanted.

Customer service here is great! I wasn't able to order my shoes from here because Brooks in general was short on supply for wide shoes but if this wasn't the case, I would've definitely purchased them from here.

5/5 would visit again!

Jeff Blair, in the MB store, has been giving me great, sound running and shoe advice for 25 years. He's kept me going injury free, through about 14 marathons, and 10 halves. An ultra runner himself back in the day, he knows his stuff and has a perfect laid back but knowledgeable attitude to deal with a type A like me. I made the mistake of buying a pair shoes and insoles from a big box chain and this other guy's advice, clearly motivated by commission or bonuses from the manufacturer, was the worst. Never again. Competitively priced against Amazon, with non-commissioned running consultants, Village Runner is my home base for running shoes; due to Jeff and all the VR services they provide to the Southbay and beyond. My son and I walked in this store on Thursday afternoon, 8/25. The knowledgeable and courteous Gentleman who assisted my son purchase a pair of Hoka sneakers spent time and was concentrated on my son the entire time. He observed how my son walks, taught him to tap his heels down after putting the sneakers on and before walking with the shoes, kept checking the space between my son’s toes and the front of the shoes and also taught my son a way of tying the laces to makes the shoes snug on the sides when wearing a size that has room beyond the toes.

The Gentleman was gracious even when my son had to go to their Redondo Beach store because they did not have a stock of the black color that my son bought.

If I’m in LA and need sneakers, I would go to this store in order to receive competent assistance and brand recommendations.

Best running shoe store there is in the world! Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Love how supportive the owner is of the community and local running groups and events. Never buy my shoes anywhere else; I have been a loyal customer for nearly 20 years!
