Rescued Treasure

Nice little gift shop, pet rescue shelter and pet supplies store. A mixed selection of books, home supplies, clothes and electronics, jewelry and handbags. Good prices all around, especially knowing that a portion of every purchase goes toward the care, food and shelter of cats and dogs waiting for adoption or fostering. The people who work there are always kind and helpful, and they usually allow us to handle the cats a little while to help them socialize with potential adoptions. Their hours are limited and I haven't been there in a few months so I'm not sure if they keep regular hours anymore.

Sign over the door is kind of misleading as there are no books for sale. Just clothes and home goods.

I was visiting a nearby store and getting into my car, a somewhat large size chihuahua mix came running up to me barking and running in a manner as if it was going to bite me. It obviously belonged to one of the employees because she called it’s name. Scared me to death. Put a leash on your dog and control it. And the woman didn’t offer me and apology either.
