Beckers Bakery and Deli

I've been coming to this bakery since I was 4 years old. The sugar cookies are the best I've had pretty much anywhere. I highly recommend any pastries you get here. I do miss the dinosaur cookies but the cookie monster cookies are a must! The flower sugar cookies are amaaaaaazing too. Please just try everything.

These heart cookies with the pink frosting were literally my lifeblood in the early 2000s as a young chimp running around the AMS Elementary School.

I came back here for the first time in a minute this weekend, now a full grown orangutan, and can confirm these heart cookies with the pink frosting ($1.50) are still literal crack cocaine. I really don't even mess with frosting on cookies usually, but Becker's is just different.

I paired an americano with my cookie, as they now have a Hi-Fi Espresso in here which I think slangs some of the best espresso around. It makes me feel like I'm in Europe idk how else to describe it.

I almost bought a shirt, but I have SO many shirts already so I opted against it. However, when I was doing my due diligence for this review a sense of regret shot through my spine like it was an epidural when I saw Beckers has been around since 1942. I had NO idea that Beckers has been around since Joseph Stalin was the Time Magazine Person of the Year. Still so crazy he was Time's Person of the Year.......

The business is still in the family after 3 generations (Shoutout to the OG Harry Becker for kicking it off), which really makes me want to go back and buy a shirt. I love places passed from generation to generation. No wonder these heart cookies with the pink frosting still taste exactly the same as they did when I was just a little chimp.

Some free game for y'all, if you go to someone's party in Manhattan Beach and they don't have a box of Becker's cookies, they are a big fat phony..... ahaha I'm playin but actually OGs will always have a box of Beckers for a function.

I should mention that they also have a deli here that people love, but I've really only ever been here for the cookies. You know why I'm here.

As the money and botox continues to move into Manhattan Beach, this is one of the 5 or 6 places left keeping the soul of what I knew as a small local beach town alive.

Beckers Bakery - This Bakery is amazing! The pastry’s taste as delicious as they look.
The bakery staff was friendly and fast.
The Bakery was clean and well stocked with plenty of selections because we arrived early.

Fantastic start to my walk up Manhattan Beach. From here I went to dash dash and then on to sloopy's. A fantastic day of food. Thank you for the start of it. Simple Danish that had some flaky pastry and wonderful toppings with some crumbs. Amazing

Ordered this on a whim on my way to the airport and it did not disappoint. First I was like $14 for a sandwich, kind of pricey. But it came with a drink, chips, a cookie. And the sandwich was awesome. The ciabatta was so good. I got chicken salad and the avocado on it was plentiful, it was just all around excellent

An MB staple. Absolutely love this place, great sandwiches and awesome cookies. Must try one of their famous surfboard cookies, the huge oatmeal cookies are phenomenal too.

Favourite sandwich place in the area. A bit pricy but so yummy! I have to admit I have only tried a few cookies but even just looking at the wide variation of cakes and cookies is something to pop in for especially on holiday seasons when all of them are special!

This place is made of awesome. Becker's Bakery has been in business since 1942! There's a reason for that. The current owner takes an incredible Delight in decorating cakes himself. Every one of them is a masterpiece, bright, brilliant colors, tons of delicious frosting, and more than a little whimsy.

I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter, complete with a image of an anime she likes and printed on the top of the cake. It looked flawless. I asked them to indulge themselves in terms of decorating the rest of the cake, and they did not disappoint. Bright, vibrant colors, clever designs, it was a masterpiece.

The frosted cookies they have are a lot of fun too, and they are also delicious.

Highly recommended. If you want something fun and colorful and delicious, Becker's Bakery is the place to go.

I saw this place on the gram and tagged for later. Well today is later and the employee said her favorite is the chocolate chips cookie. OMG she isn't wrong with the crisp edges and nearly raw center!! I'm seriously in heaven. The coffee on draft is yummy rich without being bitter. I'm happy I stopped by on my layover.

Absolutely delicious! I had the best croissant ever and the service is awesome I recommend going there if you want a dessert or coffee!

Made a quick trip to Manhattan Beach and found this cute place!! Delicious cupcakes and cookies!!! The staff was so friendly too! This place won't disappoint!

The best chocolate chip cookie!

I love, love, love this bakery. Todd is the best, and his entire staff is courteous, kind and friendly. I special ordered baseball cookies for snack after a Little League game. Perfect-that's what they were! Of course on pick-up, I couldn't resist some donuts, and a dozen oatmeal cookies. Yummy!!!

I enjoyed a really delicious Turkey sandwich. The meal came with chips, a pickle and a small sugar cookie. The vegetables were very fresh, i guess they buy from local farmers markets, i was told. My family also enjoyed their meals too. Everyone ordered different sandwiches and everyone enjoyed. Highly recommend if your in the mood for a healthy fresh sandwich! 🥑🥪

We walked all over Manhattan Beach to find a bakery with bagels and baked goods and this place didn't disappoint! I had a simple croissant which was light, buttery and delicious. A friend had the bagel and was delighted in its taste. Another had a danish with fruit and cream cheese that looked incredible! If you are in Manhattan beach, I would definitely find this hidden jewel.

Hands down my favorite bake shop in all of Manhattan Beach. Locally owned by Manhattan Beach natives and still family run/operated. They still make the same cookies from my childhood. Their sandwich shop is phenomenal as well.

The selection of baked good is great and the prices for goods is low or competitive. The red velvet cupcake was delicious and hit the spot. There benches outside but might as well take your treats to the pier and enjoy while people watching. Parking is a challenge but just go to the structure or underground lot and walk over.

Delicious donuts! Perfect levels of sweet and fluffy! Glazed, cream puff and the one with just chocolate icing we're yum! Very inexpensive too compared to other donut shops!
