Really great food and service at Fishbar. I just got in from a flight to visit my brother from D.C. and he took me here for lunch. It wasn’t too crowded at the time and our server, Bailey, was super nice and attentive. She made the excellent suggestion for us to go half grilled & half fried for our respective fish taco orders. My brother had the Lobster tacos and I went with the Fishbar Fish tacos. We also both went w/ swapping the brown rice out for the delicious garlic fries.

All in all it was very tasty food for the price and will definitely come back to try out their other dishes. Highly recommend checking this place out as it not too far from Manhattan beach.

Great dinner. It was quite busy, but service was fast and good.

Food was great. Yes, it’s a tad pricy but I think the quality is easily worth it.

Only negative aspect was that it felt a bit cramped inside.

Been here about 6 times and everything is always good. Service is great with cute chicks, drinks are great but a little too much ice, fish n chips is my go to in any seafood geared place but my wife loves the salmon bites and a particular salad there. Atmosphere is also fantastic with no ratchet folks around.

This place is a Gem!! It is a must go! Been coming here for Years, and it is rare if you're disappointed by something. Ive tried most dishes here, and I got Crispy Rice Tuna last night and they added a unique touch by adding Thai Chili on top I believe, which they never do, and OMG! I loved it. Next time I come here and they don't do that touch, I'll be sure to ask for a side of Thai Chili, it was great! The Salmon Bites grilled was so refreshing with the Pico de Gallo and cabbage*chefs kiss*. The coconut shrimp, the sauce they serve it with and the Pico de Gallo with Pineapple, it is a must try! You cannot just pass this place and not try it.

I passed this restaurant so many times in the past 10 years and never went in. What a big opportunity lost! The place is so cozy with great food, nice ambiance, and very good service. The price is so reasonable and the food quality is so good. This now my most favorites go to when I m in Manhattan Beach!

Really nice food and service. The variety of dishes is amazing and each of our party of four ordered something different. All of our selections were delicious and served quickly during a busy time. Being a visitor from the east coast I was not surprised, but still disappointed by the relatively high prices. All in all a great meal.

We had an amazingly good time and fantastic food and drinks at Fish Bar on Sunday. Sammy was our waitress and was professional, knowledgeable, and kind. We ordered drinks, and I had to have a cup of their amazing new england clam chowder. Sammy checked in with us shortly thereafter, and we ordered our entrees. My wife had the Mahi Mahi tacos with a side salad, and I had the salmon entree with the garlic bacon green beans and coleslaw. Both dishes were well presented and quite tasty. Fish Bar is a happening place, and the food, service, and ambiance are stellar. Highly recommended.

What an amazing lunch today. Drinks, appetizer and I had the Honey Chipotle Salmon and my wife had the Halibut entree. Kat our favorite server was extraordinary and such a pleasure.
A plus plus all the way around. Our favorite restaurant and yes we travel from the OC.
The clam chowder is awesome...so yummy.

A wonderful experience. Kat our server hit a grand Slam regarding customer service, kindness and positivity. My wife and I started with a few drinks and the coconut shrimp and yes I had a cup of their amazing new England clam chowder, simply heavenly. For dinner my wife ordered the fresh seasonal halibut with brown rice and sautéed spinach, oh yes..a home run. I ordered the Honey Chipotle Salmon with mashed potatoes and a Brussel sprout veggie slaw...this dish was just plain amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and of course the fresh sourdough bread as well. One of our favorite places and Kat is like family.

Another wonderful afternoon at The Fish Bar. What an awesome location as your day might include a stroll down to the beach to just chill or catch a cool sunset. There is a public parking structure right across the street where you can park for 2hrs for $3.75 and reload as needed. When you go to this fine local establishment make sure you ask to sit in Kat's section as her positive energy, knowledge of the menu and food preparation etc. besides her amazing service and personality, she is our favorite.
Also ask that Josh mixes your drinks as he is quite the professional and skilled bartender. The manager is also quite friendly and helpful and runs a wonderful restaurant. So we started with Patron Margaritas and then New England Clam Chowder and Sourdough bread fresh from the oven...OMG so so good. My wife ordered the Halibut dinner entree with a Cajun kick accompanied with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach and just loved every last morsel. I ordered the filet mignon with the same sides accompanied with some wonderfully grilled shrimp. Also we must mention Gerardo who helps with serving, in the kitchen and all around as he was so efficient and humble we had to call him over and thank him personally for his amazing efforts and caring demeanor. My wife and I love this place and every time we are in the South Bay area we have to swing by and enjoy a few cocktails each, some amazing food, service and people.

What a great find. Had Filet Mignon with shrimp skewers, sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes and the wife had sea bass with the same sides. A few top quality drinks and of course a coconut shrimp appetizer. Pure heaven! Kat was an awesome server...a terrific personality and quite knowledgeable about the menu.

Grand Slam of a good time.. Another great meal and drinks.. Kat is superb at her trade as a customer service server extraordinare and the bartender and cooks prepare piping hot meals. They have a great selection of dishes including mussels, clams, ahi tuna, sea bass, steaks, fish and chips, sandwiches and so much more. All of it comes out perfectly cooked and served hot and tasty. The clam chowder is awesome as are their salads and appetizers and don't forget to ask for their fresh and warm sourdough bread, umm umm good. Give a shout out to Kat and let her know you want to sit in her section as she is simply the best.

Great service and great food! I wish I could remember our waitress’s name because she was a sweetie. My food came out later than everyone else’s and she was very accommodating, along with the staff too. Thank you for making our first time at Fishbar great. :)

Imagine you are a mermaid and you can be human for only one day. You crawl onto the beach and try walking but your new legs won't cooperate. You spend a few minutes getting used to your wobbly bipedal limbs before starting your adventure.

The first thing you should do is go to FISHBAR. It's only a few steps away from the ocean and elegantly captures the essence of your homeland in every dish. It's an experience your mouth will enjoy while your eyes can take in the human experience of watching the passersby.

You should order oysters to start and the salmon next. End the meal with the donuts. I also recommend getting the crab queso, steamed clams, and lobster bisque. The clams and bisque are served with bread fried in butter, which is reminiscent of fall in New England (don't ask me why, it just is).

Eat all of it. You will be too full to breathe but that is the essential human experience you must have in your one day on land. After this, you can pack it in and go home. There's nothing else left to do better than this meal--not even falling in love. Trust me.

The grilled Salmon Bites were fantastic. I wanted them spicier, so they provided me sriracha and thai chili sauce.
Their Mahi Mahi Mediterranean is nothing to write home about. However, their Lobster Tacos are worth the visit.

The Fish Bar has really great food. I love the Salmon tacos.
I just visited again on Wednesday for Happy Hour and ate the Brussel Sprouts and Calamari, delicious!!!

The seasonal coconut curry halibut was delicious, the hot crab queso dip was amazing and bread pudding hit the spot. Will be back to try more things, service was great too.

Delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere. Glad we stopped. We ordered Ahi Tuna, Buffalo Shrimp and Brownie for dessert were awesome. The Manhattan chower soup not so much.

Went for brunch with friends. The drinks and food were delicious. Had a bunch of appetizers too (salmon bites, Calamari, brussel spouts, & Shrimp cocktail). I forgot to take photos but they were also tasty

This is a spot that needs a sixth star option, as it truly is about perfect for what I want in a restaurant. Casual appearance, friendly staff from top to bottom, prompt service and super amazing food. The oysters were perfectly shucked and fresh. My wife had a lobster Cobb salad and I had a salmon bowl and both were super well made. We came for lunch and it was busy but not packed on a Thursday. I imagine a long wait on a weekend. Short walk down to the beach as well for a nice post meal stroll.

Always stop in Fishbar for some great food and drinks! I love the atmosphere and the staff. Their food is ALWAYS top notch. Never had a bad experience. And, I love the scene of the beach right outside the restaurant.

Nice little gem on the strip. Parking can be difficult but small metered parking lot across the street. Customer service was excellent, drinks were delicious (not pictured, sorry), and the food was great.

A wonderful experience. We end our 5-month trip around the USA in Los Angeles, specifically in Fishbar. As seafood lovers, we choose a place that attracts with its smell and bustle inside. And there was a lot going on here! Noise, smiling waitresses and busy cooks. In two words: good atmosphere. We ordered an appetizer (Ahi tuna poke) - WONDERFUL! Then Mussles Leon, Shrimp Scampi and for dessert takeaway Lime Pie. Everything is fresh, made on site and very tasty. The sight of my 3-year-old eating mussels and shrimps instead of fries with taste always makes my heart happy :) We recommend and send regards!

Salmon lunch is a good special Friendly staff good food. I got the ahi tuna poke with wonton chips..it was so good. I also got the lobster roll it was warm and tastybut loaded with celery which I hate...it said it has celery on the menu just wasnt expecting so much but thats personal ..overall good place.. Would return
