Love hanging out here weekend mornings with the family. Breakfast, coffee, sweet treats, healthy food, great outdoor seating and play area for the kids. It's an excellent start to the weekend.

Great place to go shopping with the family. There's a fountain and a large shallow water structure for kids to play on during the day. Great places to snack or have lunch and at night there are amazing restaurants and bars.

I love the Metlox building. I love the history. I have been lucky enough to have Dr. Janelle Holden as my girls dentist and now Dr. Summer as their orthodontist. The big dog water feature was great fun when they were small and farmers market is there every week in the summer is always fun. We have done trick our treating there and so much more. Very nice atomosphere.

What a cool little place to sit around with friends and hang out. It has tons of parking, good food and a lot of seating with areas for the kids to play.

Kids in the back are all tweakers, dont go to the stair well unless you wanna get high off second hand smoke. Lemonade is overpriced but tbh mac and cheese slaps. My nephew went swimming a drowned in the fountain, i kinda laughed because why doesn't a 13 month old baby not know how to swim lol. iv seen like atleast 3 and a half kids fall down the little water thing, i hope to see more fall soon.

Great public space

Few restaurants to satisfy different tastes. Convenient underground parking. Proximity to the beach. Nice place to visit.

Nice shopping experience with great view of the ocean, farmers market on Tuesday till 3pm is definitely worth checking out

The Metlox is a nice, modern looking outdoor mall that hosts everything from spas to hotels to restaurants to clothing stores. The center of the Metlox area has a beautiful water sculpture which is often filled with little kids splashing around. There is ample seating outside should you want to relax, parking directly below the location, and even a chimney/fireplace as a homage to the Metlox Pottery company that sat in this space before being closed in 1988.

Pro tip - if you're visiting Manhattan Beach with friends, you can use the Metlox as a rallying point should people get separated. With ample places to sit outside, get a snack, and relax, it's a good place to sit and wait for others!

It was amazing because there are so many different shops that you can go in and there all connected with each other and its very close to the Beach.

Lovely little plaza in the sun, filled with small shops and restaurants. Had a great healthy lunch there.

Try the Farmers Market on Tuesdays for a little "train" ride for your kiddos and AHmazing tacos (at Larry's Tacos) for you. I also drop by the Beehive regularly for a dress or something, Sunlife for a smoothie (try the Wolverine) and meeting a friend at Le Pain is a sure bet.
