Sloopy's Beach Cafe

First time and definitely returning, such a peaceful vibe and great food, I had the Manhattan sandwich with added arugula and it was perfect. Also had the eggs Benedict and that was cooked to perfection, also the pancakes are a must have! The coffee flight was a great way to start!! And the fresh squeezed lemonade was delicious! Definitely have to go and try more off the menu! If you drive by this place and never stop you should!!

Came here on a Sunday for brunch and loved it! It’s a charming, hole in the wall restaurant with a very “earthy” vibe to it because when you walk inside, you are walking into an outdoor setting. Everything on the menu seemed very intriguing. I ordered the mimosa flight along with the BLT breakfast sandwich (added Brie to it) and sweet potato tots. It all was amazing!! 10/10 recommend this place!

Loved this casual and “earthy” and plant filled small box eatery. Incredible wood tables and plants everywhere. And yes, the food was excellent. From the coffee “flight”, to the tall glasses of Lemonades, to the fantastic French toast, or breakfast burritos, or a delicious big sloppy burger. It was all great. Service was great as well. This may be the best breakfast joint on the main drag of Manhattan Beach!

An excellent time! Food was delicious (the brussel sprouts appetizer is awesome). The vibe was cool with this partially open to outside seating, live music and funky decor. Burgers were great and service was amazing.

My daughters (4-7) were spellbound by the “inside / outside at the same time” space. And I absolutely loved the plant filled atmosphere. Food was above average too! The one hiccup was that we ordered a flavoured coffee flight & they were all iced! Wife said she knew, but I didn’t catch that they weren’t hot coffee. So people really like cold coffee?? (Wife loved them. I know I’m the weird one.)

This is probably my favorite place near Manhattan Beach. The atmosphere is incredible, the staff were so pleasant and accommodating and the food is DELICIOUS! We went for breakfast and then came back to pickup dinner. For breakfast we ordered pancakes and a bunch of breakfast sides to share. The portions are plenty and the pricing is fair considering the location. Bonus, it was right next to our hotel. Check it out!

A quintessential eatery tucked away not too far from the sea in Manhattan Beach.
It boasts some of the most amazing breakfasts I've ever tasted.
I decided to try the fish and chips for lunch.
It was delightful. The fish was light but flavorful. I opted for the sweet potato fries, and they didn't disappoint. The coleslaw was fresh tasting, but not too sweet.
Iris, your sweet smile will be dearly missed.

I did a quick stop here and ordered french toast and some eggs. The food was good but maybe I expected more from the reviews I read. Nice quiet ambience, very cozy, ideal for working remote!
Would give another try for other popular dishes on the menu.

The owner was so friendly and the service very good, food was great. Their coffee ☕ so delicious I ordered two cups 👍 and the dessert so so good 😍 beautiful decorations and full of plants feels like we're in tropical island 🏝 in walking distance to the beautiful beach.

Great place to eat with a small group or take a book to read. Ashley was our server and took great care of us. We learned that her parents have owned this restaurant for thirty years and she told us about the history.

Inside is filled with plants and gives off a comfortable vibe. Staff is friendly.

Street parking only...and this is the toughest part. Be sure to check signs. Ended up getting a parking ticket..

This place is eclectic, great atmosphere, owner is a cool dude! Mimosa's are the best with the pork shoulder! 😋

The Spicy Tuna bites are one of the best things I've eaten in all of California. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The sushi burrito and quinoa bowl were good but those spicy tuna bites were out of this world. Great ambiance and service too

We were brought to a table immediately, service was very fast. We found this place when looking for a place to eat brunch near Manhattan beach, and this place showed up. We arrived at around 11:30 on a Friday and it was slow, but there were still many people. Indoor and outside seating was available, but the day was nice so we chose outside. Our server brought us water and asked if we wanted anything else. The drinks came out relatively fast. I ordered a raspberry peach smoothie with apple juice. (it was delicious.) After we ordered our food, there was a 10 minute wait for it to come out. I ordered the BLT and it was very good. The avocado and egg were perfect and the sauce made it not too dry but not too wet. I would highly recommend this place if you want a quick not too expensive bite. (roughly $25/person with a drink.) parking was a little rough to find, but there is a public parking garage not too far away. (3 minute walk)

The atmosphere here is very unique. With all the plants ,there's a little waterfall makes it real comfortable . I had the salmon lux . And a stack of buttermilk . My wife had an egg white omelet. She was happy .

Interesting but charming hole in the wall. Good food. Interesting selection. However, the kids burger had mayonnaise on both sides of the patty..

Wow, my family had a very special occasion we wanted to celebrate. We came in from Washington state, went to the graduation and then to lunch. We had 8 adults and 2 children ( one was a toddler). The wait staff was a great help before, during and after our meal. Food was timely and hot. The restaurant was clean with a great atmosphere. When we get back to LA we will definitely go back to Sloopys beach Cafe. Thank you for helping make it a great day for my daughter and the whole family.

Parking is hard to find here and you may have a little wait time before being seated but once you’re in service is quick and the food is delicious! I recommend the honey lavender mimosa, the mimosa flight was worth the price. The ambience is relaxed and the whole place is decorated with logs and plants so it’s a very cool space! The servers offered us Halloween candy as we left which was so sweet of them.
