If you’re sitting there thinking which barber to go to, I’m telling you this is the ONE. Even if you’re an hour away. It’s worth it. I’ve had haircuts from both Jerry and Jorge. And the precision and detail they cut with is immaculate. They didn’t impose any style on me that I didn’t want. I did a horrible job of explaining what I wanted and they nailed it better than I can explain in this review. Every person I’ve seen come in her has walked out with an insane amount of confidence. Whether it’s a bald shave, fresh fade, or medium to long hair style change. The Barbers in this shop know what they’re doing. And theirs a convenience store and Mexican restaurant right next door so make it a one stop spa day. The prices might look high if you’re used to getting your haircut at Supercuts but trust me it’s actually pretty cheap. I honestly would pay way more for the amazing work I get done here. Great conversationalists too. And if you don’t want to talk they can read the room and do that too. Give them a try, worst case scenario you just have to wait a month for it to grow out. But I promise you, you’ll want to come back before your next appointment to keep it looking fresh.

Super friendly, cool guys who give great haircuts! Jerry hooked my son up and crafted his hair exactly the way he wanted. Florencio was really kind and patient as he worked carefully on my other son's hair which he cut according to a photo. Both gentlemen inhabited the traits of their name 'Gentlemen Republic'. And not only were they very professional and conversational, they give back to the community. If you want a great haircut from gentlemen that care, I highly recommend coming here. My son said it was the best haircut he had ever had!

Not only is Jerry an excellent barber, but he's also a great conversationalist. Every time I sit in his chair, I feel like I'm catching up with an old friend. He always has interesting things to say and he's a great listener too. Plus, he's beyond friendly and makes everyone feel welcome.

Gentlemen Republic is conveniently located in El Segundo and the shop is clean, modern, and well-equipped. There's plenty of parking, and they even offer coffee, water, and other amenities to make your experience even more enjoyable.

Now, I have to admit, I'm hesitant to write this review because I'm afraid Jerry will become too popular and busy to fit me in for an appointment! But, I just can't keep this gem of a barber to myself. Trust me, if you're looking for a new barber, go see Jerry at Gentlemen Republic. You won't regret it!

I travel to LA a lot for business, occasionally need to get a haircut while I'm here if I have an important client meeting or sometimes I've just been on the road so long that I've neglected myself. I've been to maybe a dozen different shops in the last 12 months in the South Central LA area, but couldn't have been happier with the cut I got here. I walked-in late on a Monday, probably last customer of the day. Jerry took care of me - haircut and beard trim. It was thorough, precise, exactly what I wanted. A little bit of pampering thrown in there. Honestly felt like I treated myself. I'm walking in to an important business meeting today feeling confident in my grooming and that's a priceless feeling. Thanks guys!

Great place! I get my haircut here with Jerry... awesome guy and he's very attentive to detail. I love how you can set an appointment online, and pay and tip with a debit card or contact less.

Late review: Had to get a last minute haircut and they worked me into the schedule. On top of that we accidentally left the car lights on and my ran ro find some cables and gave me a jump! Left with a super tight fade and a running car. Awesome experience at this location.

I am traveling for work and thought I would find a place to clean my beard up during my stay. JERRY is the best I’ve had in any city I’ve gotten my beard done. He is very talented and extremely nice. He deserves more than 5 stars for the service I received. Don’t hesitate to come see him.

Made an appointment Saturday night for sunday afternoon. Came in, easy to find, small strip mall and plenty of parking. Great service and solid cut! Would definitely come back!

Hands down the best barber shop in LA! I’ve been to barber shops all over this city. Jorge and Chino are the best barbers around. Their attention to detail and professionalism is unmatched.

My husband just got home from his haircut with Chino at Gentlemen Republic and I am so impressed with his new style! This is the 3rd Barbershop he has tried in El Segundo and finally he's found his spot. The precision and detail of the cut and styling was flawless. I’ve tried most places in el segundo without getting the look I wanted. Brad was the only one who truly made me look homeless. 10/10 will come back for next years hair cut. ❄
