My dog Roseanne was recently diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma by our regular vet and my friend recommended me Dr. Bommarito as a cancer doctor for Roseanne. I am so glad we came here, even if it's a far drive, coming here for treatment makes me feel that Roseanne is in good hands. the facility is very clean, they are very organized but best of all, the doctor is very responsive. I would email after office hours, weekends, and would be surprised that Dr. Bommarito would answer any of my concerns. Roseanne's cancer is malignant so I am not sure she will be cured but I know we are giving her a fighting chance and best treatment possible. the doctor will only recommend it he believes the treatment is for the best interest of the dog. I also highly recommend getting trupanion for any pet owner since they accept it here and it has helped me a lot by paying 90% of the cancer bills. the staff are all nice. parking is easy. It's located at the roof. Lobby is clean and you can walk to close by restaurants if you want to wait while your fur baby is having treatment.

Our beloved golden retriever, has cancer. News no pet-parent wants to receive but often a sad reality. Dr. Smith was recommended by another excellent surgeon & that recommendation was richly deserved. Dr. Smith was attentive, kind, clear and extremely knowledgable. All the interactions we had with the team at this facility were first rate, so our thanks to Dr. Smith, Erika, Raquel and Jerenny. Myself, my wife and Thatchy are all extremely grateful to be in your care for the foreseeable future.

We ended up at this Vet facility because our dog, Dexter was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. We where devastated and scared prior to going in. We saw Dr. Schuh and she was the most incredible Vet Doctor that we've ever met. She was extremely knowledgeable and interacted with our little Dexter during the exam. She literally sat on the floor with him and was petting him and playing with him as she performed her exam. She was just incredible. Wish she had been our vet Dr to all of our dogs over the years. She is exceptional when it came to our concerns and treated us with dignity and respect especially because of what we where going through. She is beyond friendly and compassionate. She would make us laugh during the visit and over all just made our visit a very positive one. She gave us lots of options and hope for our little family member, Dexter. We now have a clear plan moving forward because of her. I would recommend this place to everyone, the Veterinary Cancer Group of Los Angeles. Love them....

VCG is fabulous. Dr. Siedlecki is great. She takes time with us to make sure we understand everything about our dog’s treatment plan. I’m convinced the care we’ve received has prolonged our time with our dog and has kept her healthy and happy. Absolutely recommend!

I cannot be more thankful to the team at this facility, starting with the girls at the reception/check in counter, to the Doctor and everyone in between. They went above and beyond to help my baby, her name is Princess and she is 13 yrs old and recently diagnosed with cancer lymphoma...thinking we had an appointment today( per our primary vet) we showed up to find out we didn't...they told us the first available was until the end of the month. I was crushed so was my husband and my mom who came along with us. We reminded seated at the lobby trying to process the moment of not being able to get specialized care for our baby soon...After few minutes one of the girls approached us telling us that she had talked to the Doctor and explained our situation and that if we wanted she could see us in between appointments that it could take much longer than usual but the Doctor had no problem in doing that for us...For that I will ALWAYS BE THANKFUL to them for helping us. God bless them all!!!

Caring staff and knowledgeable doctor! Found the best palliative treatment for my cat within my budget. She’s feeling great and happy again. Thank you for making her last months manageable!

Dr. Siedlecki was amazing with my cat Shoes. I brought him in when he was diagnosed with cancer that was affecting his neurological functions and he was knuckling over on one leg. She gave me options and the treatment plan, also dealing with his heart issues, gave me another six months with my buddy. She was available, took time to really understand what was happening and always gave me a balanced prognosis. Shoes took a turn for the worse after I’d moved away but she was still there for both of us. She’s supported by an amazing staff. Thank you

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Bommarito and Dr. Schuh who both cared for my dog Busy during the final six months of his bladder/prostate cancer. Taking care of a dog with cancer is exhausting - emotionally, physically, financially... but Dr. Bommarito and his team were supportive every step of the way. He honestly went above and beyond with answering emails, suggesting and explaining treatments and keeping me honest when it came to Busy's prospects. I'm grateful to have found such good care & would recommend him to anyone else facing the same situation in a heartbeat.

Dear Dr. Schuh and the entire Vet Cancer Group LA of Culver City,

It’s been a little over a week since Princess The Poodle lost her battle with cancer. The grief is heavy in my heart as I’m re-learning life without her by my side.

I wanted to send this note to thank you and the entire team for putting her life in your safe hands and for taking the best care of her as this cancer aggressively spread through her tiny 7lb body. What separates you apart is that you quarterbacked her treatment plan and more so, did not only look at the disease or test results to guide your opinions, but you saw that Princess still had her will to live and helped give her every opportunity to continue doing so.

The first time I spoke to Dr. Schuh she said to me- “let’s see if we can’t get Princess more time.” And I knew we were in the right place. Despite the grim tale that test results told, you saw Princess and the value of her life and how much she mattered, and as a result you gave me the greatest gift- more time to make memories - priceless.

On behalf of myself, and Princess’ entire family filled with grandparents, aunties, uncles, & cousins, thank you all for treating her with so much attention, love, and care. Thank you for helping me to navigate this awful world of cancer.

We’ve had a few visits so far and am very pleased with how well the entire staff treats us. Friendly, caring and so response; both Dr Smith and Siedlecki as well as the supportive staff. I’m glad my friend recommended this center. Sure hoping the treatment helps my baby. So far so good after a month!

This place understands how much you love your dog.
Every staff member goes above and beyond, treating them like their own. Everyone here is so kind, compassionate and so, so caring.
Our dog had a cancer diagnosis late last year so we have been back and forth to VCG. Each time we go, we are floored by how amazing the care our boy gets and how professional everyone is.
It's tough to have a sick pet but this place makes you feel as supported as you could possibly ever be.
I would give 10 stars if I could.

I felt fortunate to work with Dr. Bommarito and his team at VCG Culver City. Dr. B is very smart, thorough, and responsive. His entire team supports your dog's treatment with urgency and kindness. I am of course sorry to hear of anyone having to visit VCG, but you are in good hands with Dr. B and his team.

My rescue dog was diagnosed with a rare form of nasal cancer. Dr. B spent considerable amount of time explaining our options and answering my extensive questions. My dog underwent radiation therapy with, I believe, minimal side effects. He was excited to return to the office for each treatment!

Sending you hope and good luck as you navigate this journey.

Extremely caring staff. We always received excellent treatment. It’s expensive for sure, but with cancer treatment my pet was able to live happily for an extra 15 months that we would have otherwise not had.

The most friendly and loving staff. It’s so hard seeing your pup experience cancer but this group of doctors help make the whole process manageable. The piece of mind these doctors provided me is priceless. I know when I have to take my dog here he is in the best care.

Having a pet go through cancer is really difficult. You can't explain to them why they don't feel well or what's going on. I can't say enough about how great the entire Veterinary Cancer Group team has been. The doctors explain everything, they help you understand even the complicated medical terms and processes, and the staff knows EVERY SINGLE DOG. They will do everything in their power to keep your dog as healthy as possible for as long as possible. And, they keep it real. They tell you what they recommend based on what's best for your dog and your situation, not what's going to make them the most money. I honestly feel like they love my dog baby as much as I do. Couldn't ask for better people to help my dog be her best self for the time she has left.
