The Great White Hut

Located on the northeast corner of W California Ave and N Orange Street, next to Central Avenue Pharmacy, fairly close to the Glendale Galleria mall.

There’s very limited parking in the attached lot, however, there’s paid parking lots right around the corner, and across the street.

I was looking for some place different to eat that wasn’t the regular chain restaurants. After passing multiple chain restaurants, some inside/attached to the mall, some in the surrounding area, I stumbled upon The Great White Hut!

This place definitely looked unique, especially compared to the other nearby food places. There were a few bar stools attached to the building to go along with a couple picnic bench type seating up against the Central Avenue Pharmacy.

The person taking my order was friendly and answered any question I had about some menu items with a smile.

I decided to go with the triple bacon cheeseburger, cheese nachos, and a coke! The burger was great, full of soo much juicy flavor, and the nachos were no joke either. The cheese was good, but I think it’s the chips that just make it taste so much better.

Next time you’re in the area, skip the chain restaurants and swing by The Great White Hut, you won’t be dissapointed!

The impossible burger was so good, one of the best vegetarian options anywhere in LA. Plus the fries are famously great, and it was super easy to order

I ate here while on vacation in California 2 yrs ago. I found it on fun places to eat on Google. It was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be back the next time I visit my Son.

This place was very quick with my order and the food was hot and delicious. The bar stools are comfy and the service was very friendly- so awesome that they serve breakfast all day too

The tacos were good! Fast service and great location if you want tacos in Glendale before midnight 🙌🏼🌮

If you come here, just stick with one thing: Mega Carne Asada Nachos! It's the only thing this place is good for. Due to calories, I limit my consumption to every other month. It's so good I keep thinking about it! Chicken taco is average. Chicken burrito took me 3 days to finish :(

Love the Americano Fries with extra Garlic Aoli Sauce!! They messed up my order a couple of times, so Always Check before you leave and get home to find out you have to drive all the way back.

Been coming here for 5 years. Maria, Frisco, Ana, Christina, and Sam have become my family!! My dog Sebastian gets mad if I don’t walk by there so he can see them lol!!!! I don’t eat meat so I get the impossible burger combo EVERY TIME and it’s always a hit!!!! Absolutely love this place!!!!! To be honest, I eat here once a week lol!! AND IM NOT ASHAMED!! Best burgers in LA!!!

Love love love their loaded fries!!!! The americano fries r the best! Fries, bacon, spicy aioli and ranch with sauteed onions 🤤🤤🤤 pretty busy from evening to night but during the day it's less crowded... some workers get a bit grouchy when busy 😅 but food is soooooooo on point 👍 thx for a great snack!

This place isn't the best to eat at since it's in a corner and there is no dine in. They don't have patience if you don't know what you want even if you tell them it's your first time.
The food is excellent! Everything they put on the fries are delicious and unique in its own way.

I ordered a chicken quesadilla and the classic fries. I'd say it's enough for 2 people. The fries I'd picked weren't to my liking but my roommate liked it. The quesadilla was good.

The fact that they're open late to feed me after a magnificent concert, speaks volumes! You get there and are greeted like you're one of the guys. Then you get your food in the most appropriate container, dig in, bear fries ever. Thank you guys!

Awesome food, quick service and friendly guys. They don't play around when they say spicy. The carne asada nachos with fries was delicious and very filling.

Had a double cheeseburger and classic fritas fries, amazing. This place is very good and I will be back soon.

This is one of the BEST places in Glendale or even in whole California. I sound pathetic for some of you but let me explain why I fall in love at this place. Local food culture is the new posh dining, especially in most of American cities. I love - but I am also tired of dining at Michelin restaurants, especially when few names have restaurants in each big cities and they have pretty much the same menu.
The Great White Hut offers you “spicy” adventure, full of really well chosen flavours and AUTHENTIC on the way it is made.
This place is a great “fetish and kinky” in the sublime way of meaning of it. Food gives you fun, pleasure, flavour - it’s not boring, a bit unpredictable :)

I was pleasantly surprised that such a small hut could provide such delicious grub. I got thr fries with the jalapenos, but changed it up getting feta cheese instead of the nacho cheese. Such messy goodness for a great price.

99cent taco Tuesday!!! Two choices: Carne Asada beef or chicken. Worth It! Decent size, soft, easy quick meal. Takes credit card and has limited parking. Seating is booth seating around.

Tried this place out with my family after spending a day out in Hollywood. We wanted a quick bite to eat, and after starting in on our food we didnt want the bite to be so quick after all. Haha. Enjoyed every bite. I had the Classic Fritas. Bomb! My boyfriend had their cheeseburger with an egg. He enjoyed that very much.. Can't wait to go back again.

We ordered the loaded fries. Amazing! Wow wow wow! I just wish we came here earlier on our California vacation so we could have come again
