Regent Coffee Roasters and Brew Bar

What many good coffee shops do is give you good coffee, friendly staff, and a place to sit. Regent does all of that and gives you an unforgettable experience! I’ve never had a more flavorful espresso tonic. So complicated yet easily understandable. Their concoctions are carefully and skillfully crafted to give you something you’ve not had elsewhere. For that, they get my seal of approval. I had the Lavender Bourbon Buzz and it is delightful. Really deep espresso flavor with hints of bourbons from the retired bourbon barrels they used, all tied together with a dried lime wedge. I feel like a new world has been opened to me.

Our new favorite spot in Glendale! We ordered a barrel aged almond milk latte and the bourbon old fashioned which were both phenomenal. The bourbon whiskey notes were amazing. The baristas were also so friendly and welcoming which made it an even better experience.

Definitely can't wait to be back!

Best matcha latte outside of Japan. Watching the barista make it with skill and precision was almost more enjoyable than the drink itself. The hardest part is deciding between the matcha and a flat white, which is also superb.

First time at Regent Coffee.
Usually get my Iced Matcha Latte from Portos, but today I wanted to try Regent's.
If you truly love a pure Matcha Latte (no sweetener) they beat Portos!
First sip, you get the earthy taste, which I love.
Definitely my new Matcha spot in Glendale!

Their espresso drinks are great! I got my usual oat-milk cappuccino before but today I tried their americano too and the fragrance is very unique. The sweet latte with their in-house lavender syrup is also pretty amazing too.
+ Got their Ethiopian beans to try at home. :)

Regent Coffee is a nice place for coffee lovers. They make really good coffee that's not too strong. I liked their special blend—it's tasty! The place is cozy, with comfy seats and a nice vibe.

The people working there are friendly, and the prices are fair. You can also grab a snack to go with your coffee. It's a great spot to hang out with friends or just chill with a book.

Leon the owner/creator has crafted an amazing product- Bourbon Latte Vanila Coffee. It is a must try here in Glendale. The most unique coffee I have ever drank.

I've visited many, many coffee shops in LA and Regent Coffee is one of my favorites, probably the most underrated one in LA's coffee scene.

Regent's specialty is their barrel aged coffee. Their beans were chosen with profiles that coordinate with whiskey, and aged in Bourbon barrels before small batch roasting. The result is delicious single origin coffee with a unique whiskey profile. In particular, Regent makes cold brew and bottles it to be consumed at home. I am never a big fan of cold brew, but I keep stocking up Regent's cold brew for its nuanced and rich flavor and of course, the convenience.

Whiskey also perfectly summarizes Regent's characters: classic, low key, understated, its complexity requires some patience and maturity to appreciate. Regent doesn't have fancy signature drinks and the store looks old school compared to many airy, chic new shops. It focuses on the most essential coffee experience and does it excellently. All one needs to do is to look beyond the looks.

Behind the coffee bar, more than half of the shop space is dedicated to coffee making. There is a roaster, a couple of American oak barrels, a bottling station, a huge fridge, a cold brew drip tower, and maybe a siphon coffee maker somewhere too? Regent's owner Leon told me that's one of his favorite ways to make coffee.

Leon and his wife Di are two of the purest coffee people I've met. Leon left the banking world to open his own coffee shop. He studies and experiments coffee like a lab science, rather than a business. Every time I chat with him, I am inspired by his earnest pursue for quality, consistency and originality. It's always a pleasure to have coffee served by such wonderful people.

Bourbon barrel blend is interesting… good, complex but I wasn’t mentally prepared in the morning to taste bourbon. It was too boozy for me first thing in the morning. I’ll try something else next time. Side note- Porto’s is next to it so I grabbed pastries there while having coffee. Sorry to hi jack this post Regents 🙂

Must visit coffee shop. I had their mocha capacity, it was made with dark chocolate. They have all the non dairy options, great service, calm abd relaxed interiors. They offer outdoor bistro table as well.

Great coffee from many parts of the world. I’ve tried one from Ethiopia and it was very tasty.

The Barista knows how to prepare a perfect coffee.

You also find grains to take home and some coffee gear.

There were some cakes for having with your coffee.

It is a nice place to chill, work or read.

It's tough to find a very high quality decaf espresso, but this shop hit it on the head! Well balanced, super smooth, and everyone in the shop knows what they're doing as far as heat, static electricity, weight, and all the other things that go in to making an excellent espresso. Well done.

Vivienne and Liang we’re both very helpful and the shop itself was lovely. I love that they care about sustainability, make their syrups in house, and source locally. Will be back and def recommend

My coffee of choice has always been a cup of Cortado. They give you a choice of beans here and the Bourbon Barrel blend is unique and special. I'll be back to try other blends in the future.

Just best third wave coffee in Glendale! What you need from coffee: great taste, variety of choices and great people to talk about it - that’s the place!

One of my favorite places to get coffee. The coffee is legit great and prices fair. The inside is small, cozy, and efficient (and no loud music blasting at you!). Best thing: The owner(s) & staff are always welcoming and happy to answer any questions you may have. Large variety of coffee available and the selection is constantly changing (and again, they'll help you if have questions). Oh and they also offer bags of fresh roasted coffee.

Great place at the corner of California and brand. Local roaster. Excellent coffee. The shot of Burundi was bright and almost citrus. The latte was Blossom blend and almost fruit forward. Reminded me of Ethiopian.
