Relaxed atmosphere. I loved being outside in the patio because it is so much quieter than the inside. Service was good and I was happy that I could grab some gluten free fried chicken (they only make so many a day). Definitely a gluten friendly place. Fun mock-tails to try.

For an appetizer I got the mushrooms, for dinner I had the fried chicken, then I finished with the buttermilk dessert. I also did this smokey strawberry mock-tail and it was good!! Definitely smokey flavored.

Birdie G's is always a vibe and perfectly encompasses that hard sought balance of fine dining and a cozy, relaxing ambiance. Chef Matt and his team are constantly innovating and chasing new flavors for each season, therefore, you can always expect something fresh and enthralling on the menu. The cocktail menu follows suit, as it is ever-changing with seasonal tastes. Reliable bangers that are always available include the relish tray, matzo ball soup, flatiron, and kugel. Any pairing can be concocted against the expansive wine list stocked with a mix of global staples and esoteric gems. Be adventurous and have fun!

My wife and I dined here last night and the food was creative, exciting and most of all delicious. Our favorites were the matzo ball soup, tinned salt spring mussels, the small relish tray with 5-onion dip and the rose petal pie. Shout out to the staff, especially Oscar, who helped walk us through the menu and was happy to chat with us at the close of service. The energy in the restaurant was vibrant and joyous. I loved the music.

Birdie G's was a delightful dining experience. Their cocktails are absolutely delicious, and very pleasing to the senses. It was hard to pick from such a delectable menu! We had the prime rib as our main course, and it was perfection! Every dish we had was crafted with attention. Not a single bite was anything less than delicious. They have a wonderful selection for vegan diets as well. The ambience was soothing, with a lovely garden placed throughout the outdoor seating. Very comfortable to sit outside even in the cool December air. The wonderful aroma from the kitchen made it tricky to decide exactly which dishes to taste! Not a single thing looked anything less than delightful. I don't think you can go wrong ordering anything! The staff was attentive, and the service was perfect from the valet, to the check. This restaurant is a wonderful dining experience in every aspect. My brothers enthusiasm for this spot was truly well earned!

My first time at this restaurant but I love it I would definitely come back again.. delicious food and atmosphere and the service was great .. i love how they have summer salads and tasty vegetable dishes

A fantastic, mind-blowing restaurant. Perfect seasoning, generous portion, good cocktails, warm service, interes dining space. I have been to many michelin star restaurants in US, this one would beat most of them. Real American restaurant, no abuse of luxury yet meaningless material, no waste on visual and unnecessary gastronomy. With careful and accurate seasoning, fresh local material choices, this restaurant would be a shining star in Saint Monica.
We two ordered 8 courses in total, including 3 cold starters, 2 hot plate, 2 grilled meat, 1 dessert, 4 glasses of wine. It only charges 160 for this great feast.
I do highly recommend this restaurant. Please try the matzo ball soup, summer as a salad, acg Caesar, duck kebab, grilled lamb, rose pedal pie.

Very helpful server, delicious food, accommodations for allergies felt so easy, and our food came out quickly. I recommend making a reservation.

Where to start? Every dish a revelation. Melt in your mouth meat. Jiggly dessert? Worth every second. Special mention to our server Amanda - made us fees special. Can’t wait to try the radish tray next time we visit.

An "after Christmas" family dinner. A unique dining experience.... we tried all of their signature dishes. Seated outside. It was a bit cool despite the heaters - so they provided blankets to add to the comfort.

Amazing food! The special was a short rib pastrami reuben, so tasty!!
Matzo ball soup was so hearty and tasty.

Even the cocktails were branded and well thought out!

This was a recommendation from a Santa Monica chef so I was pleasantly surprised I was able to get a reservation for two on that same day. The place is cute and inviting and the food was really yummy ! The matzo ball soup was extremely comforting and you can’t go wrong with the crime brûlée for dessert. 😋

the entire experience was divine. menu is exceptional, the mushroom fries, duck kebabs, and ribolitta stew are absolutely unavoidable. service is 10/10, especially our lovely waiter justin. thank you so much for this delightful meal; not only will we be returning in the future, we will bring our friends.

Wow, I hadn't heard of Birdie G's until my gf brought me here last night. What a pure pleasure this place is! First off I highly recommend making a reservation as it is very popular and rightfully so. Secondly I really want to mention what a joy it was to have Francisco Q as our server, he was so knowledgeable of the menu and made the most amazing suggestions, honestly, even if the food wasn't as amazing as it is, I would still be going back to try the lamb that he was raving about! So we decided to share between the two of us, which is encouraged, and I have to agree, just so that you can taste more of this incredible menu. We started with the corn bread which was like no other I've ever tasted, melts in your mouth. Next the Sloppy Jeremy, unbelievable, instead of a tomatoe base they use a strawberry base on top of Texas toast topped with greens, I could and will eat this ALL the time! The final course was the Hanger steak, wow just simply delicious served with fries and their garlic aioli, cooked to perfection!!! As delicious as it was, I really can not stop thinking about the Lamb, so I will be returning as soon as possible. And finally Birdie G's is remarkably affordable, five star food at what I would say $$ to $$$ what a real pleasure Birdie G's is!!!

Relish Tray was a clean/healthy way to start the meal as we eventually descended into the richer pasta dishes. I enjoyed the Matzo Ball and the World-Famous pie; though this was controversial in my group. Staff was very kind and the ambiance was lively. Was a packed house at 9pm Tuesday and hard to hear my friends— but conversation only gets in the way of eating delicious food.

Had the best experience at Birdie G's! Our server was so kind and helpful, it truly made the experience so amazing. They have a great outdoor patio and everyone was spaced apart, so you don't have to feel weird/uncomfortable about that. The menu is very interesting with items that you probably won't find at most restaurants in LA. I feel like every dish had a special twist/flare.

For the two of us, we ordered 1 appetizer, 2 main dishes, and a side. This was way more than enough food. We also got some drinks as well that were amazing!
- Cast-Iron Cornbread with fermented green chili-honey butter: this was amazing! I would definitely order again. The chili-honey butter was unique and delicious
- Noodle Kugel with housemade egg noodle, fresh cheese, apple, walnuts, and sage brown butter. Definitely recommend this! Your taste buds will thank you
- Rockfish Paprikash with lima beans, aaron's potatoes, blush tomato & creme fraiche. So fresh and delicious. This dish was cooked perfectly
- Fries with aoili. Wow, these fries are truly incredible. Possibly the best fries I've ever had!

We always enjoy our time at Birdie G's but this weekend we had the most wonderful experience. There was a small accident with wine being spilled which was in itself a nonissue. What really impressed me was how swiftly the staff responded and how compassionate they were about it all. The mess was immediately attended to; they consoled my crying child; and provided her with treats. It was honestly an amazing experience.

Great service, outside sitting is great with heaters! Food was good and decent portions. The cornbread and mushrooms were delicious! The drinks were great as well, the teddy drink came in a cute teddy bear glass!
