Rocky's Custom Clothes

After 24 years…I “think” Rocky may know my taste in clothes. He’s the one who helped me develop this look. If you multiply the 25 ties and the 35 different shirts and 15 suits…You would have 13,125 different outfit combinations. WOW 😮

I’ve been fortunate to have Rocky as my custom clothier for over 20 years. I’ve moved over a dozen times to different cities since we met and new friends are always marveling at how sharp of a dresser I am. Rocky knows my preferred style and has a way of introducing me to new fabrics and combinations that make me feel like I’m always up with the times.

The quality of material is so high end that I actually still wear many of the business shirts that I acquired decades ago.

You’ll never need another clothing store once you meet Rocky and his staff.

Rocky makes custom shirts for quite a few people in my industry and after seeing many of the people I’m associated with wearing them I reached out and asked when he would be in Phoenix next to book an appointment. If you’re someone who cares who you’re buying from, wanting a quality product and wanting something more unique rather than something off the shelf than Rocky and his team are definitely someone you should consider doing business with. For the respect, professionalism and quality you get the price point makes perfect sense.

I see the difference between what I currently have and what I’m getting in terms of measurements and cut…. I have never received the detailed measurements I received from Rocky. I know when I step on the floor of the Michigan House of Representatives I will be looking my very best.

I've been working with Rocky's for almost fifteen years now, and there's a reason I keep going back: they simply make the best suits and shirts I've ever worn.

Moreover, there's something incredibly satisfying about clothing that's actually custom made. Where you pick out all the details, from the fabric to the lining, from the cuffs to the collar, from the buttons to the pocket placement. And when you put them on - well, there's something about a suit and shirt that were made perfectly for you that just isn't matched by anything off the rack. Especially if, like me, your measurements make you a little tough to fit without extensive tailoring.

And if you're worried about the cost of custom clothes, Rocky's is somehow right around what it would cost to buy a nice suit from Nordstroms - except what you're getting from Rocky's is miles better in feel, fit, and fabric.

I've worked with Sapna three different times now, for both suits and shirts, and she's an absolute dream to work with - especially if you may not know exactly what you want beyond the broad strokes. Where I have opinions, she listens. Where I don't, she offers up experienced suggestions. I trust her implicitly now - to the point where she recently suggested a suit pattern that felt maybe a little too cool for my more conservative suiting tastes, but I was willing to trust her experience and decided to give it a shot. So obviously, less than an hour into wearing it for the first time, a complete stranger on the street tells me "That's a really nice suit." (Thank you again for that one, Sapna.)

And better get used to hearing "Nice suit" too - it happens a lot with Rocky's clothes. My favorite one was a costume designer who told me point blank that she'd never seen a suit so perfectly fitted outside of a set or a fashion shoot and begged me to tell her where I got it so she could send her husband. So of course, I sent her to Rocky's.

I've sent friends, family, and party strangers to Rocky's because their work is, in a single word, exceptional. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and I look forward to continuing to go back for years to come.

I've been going to Rocky's for over three years and I've never had anything but a top-notch experience. The clothing quality is as good at it gets at this price point, and the customer service pushes it over the edge--throwing in additional shirts, working with local tailors for quick resizing, and always recommending stunning color combinations. Barely any up-selling. A lovely, clean, pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend Rocky's to folks in need of good suits and shirts.
