Yesterday just after I left the store as I crossed the parking lot heading toward the bus stop-- I heard "Sir! SIR! SIIIIRRRRR!!! I turned to see the young woman who was my cashier waving the white shoelaces I inadvertently hadn't packed in my tote. She had ran after me to correct the situation. I was so grateful. Not for the dollar laces but that people still did that sort of thing. I hope her Boss sees this.

Walked past this place and decided to stop in and see what they had. Ended up with 2 arms full. I was amazed by the selection for the price range.

I love this little place! I think it may be family owned, because all of the employees are very cordial. They have the best deals and oftentimes carry some unique finds and gifts. Also, if you’re into costume jewelry, they have a lot of faux gold bracelets and necklaces.

Great place! I've been passing for a few years...FINALLY. Everything is just over a dollar Ok here goes: canned goods.spices.makeup... and lots! kitchen, crafts. school supplies. But wait! There's more.. birthday, toys+ decorations..art supplies So.. a little bit of EVERYTHING store. much like 99c Stores. Less crowded . parking good too. Nice, laid back staff. Going back soon!!.

Many I need items here... Also they've increased prices on a few green sticker items for $5.99, $7.99 and $9.99. These items and pricing, I've found are either comparable to other stores or even more expensive, but sense you are there, they try and get you to buy those better quality more appealing items whilst shopping at Dollar King.

My 1st time and what an incredibly nice staff, especially just before Christmas eve. The two girls (cashiers) were very attentive, polite, and eager to assist everyone in line. I highly recommend.

Great, great alt.to 99c store..has EVERYTHING you might need for cheap like: combs.. brushes.ribbons.sauce pan for camping..makeup . deodorant..birdseed.party decor. party goods..again!!.LOTS!! AND MUCH MORE. a Fun store!!

Dollar King has changed a lot over the years with some positive changes as well as some negative changes. This is one of the few stores who has posted the truth for everyone to see " merchandise prices had to be raised to pay our employees since the minimum wage was raised" those ignorants who demand raise in minimum wage do not realize the aftermath for they do not have a brain.
Those words posted by this store reflect the one and only truth of this country.

There's more locations now, this is the best in Glendale. Stock up on holiday decorations, cute and budget friendly! But get them before they go. Also have snacks and soda in addition to bags of ice.

Omg this place is like Disneyland in a store everything you need is here from the kitchen to your personal beauty from toys to tools and the best part Is that is only 1.11 everything I love it and for woman's they have. Whole ale full of make up..you have to check it out 😀😀

All items are $1.21 plus tax, and they have a good selection of products. The staff are usually friendly. They even carry umbrellas for the $1.21 price. Snacks, hardware, kitchen accessories, cleaning products, art supplies, and much more.

Dollar King is also located close to several Bus Lines, Verdugal Jobs Center, Vons Grocery store, restruants, and other businesses.

You come here to buy one thing and end up wanting to buy all the store.
Because they have so much nice stuff that you can't help buying more then you came for.
This store is little but, very nice organiza and full of nice things. !!!!

Needs, requires a wider broader variety of items. The management seems very organized with the items in produce but the rest of the store it's kind of a labyrinth or maze or puzzle to get through.

Nice customer service. Always have stocked items.. Just the prices are going up to $1.51 in October.

Great and unusual items available here that's why I don't mind to pay little more. I'm on guard when I come here and expect to find something special. Thank you

This store is great! Arts & Crafts supplies in abundance. Acrylic paints, so much good stuff at great prices.
