There is no better mechanic for 1990s-2000s BMWs on the Westside than Elite Automotive. I invested a lot of effort in searching for the right mechanic for my 2002 BMW M5, taking it to four different shops before settling on Rudy. He and Francisco consistently exceed my expectations for a price that is extremely reasonable. They are also complete specialists in these cars, as they focus entirely on BMWs.

If you are an E39 5-series owner, I'd particularly encourage you to check out Elite. I doubt there is any other shop on the Westside where you will see four E39s there on the same day. I had to take a picture! These guys really are experts in these cars. Thanks Rudy & Francisco!

Been going to Elite Automotive since I got my BMW 335i ten years ago. They are the best...hands down. Rudy and his team do an amazing job, thorough and efficient. And most of all...honest. I've gone to them for nearly everything and never had an issue. Can't say enough good things about them. Highly recommend.

If you have a BMW, look no further. Rudy is detail oriented, notices the small stuff (and there are a lot with a BMW), and has reasonable prices for some of the highest quality work I've seen at German Car specialists. He clearly cares about his customers and their cars, and wants you to get back your car in as good a condition as possible given your price range. I normally don't write reviews too, but Elite Automotive deserves it.

Rudy and the guys at Elite Automotive are excellent! True white glove service but at unbelievable prices. I just had a major service done by them that saved me thousands compared to the dealership without sacrificing or overlooking quality. I will be using them for all of my BMW servicing from here on out and I would highly recommend them!

2/3 Update: I've been using Elite Automotive ever since I first took my car to them 9 months ago and they have continued to blow away my expectations. Loyal customer here, can't recommend them more highly!

If you want extraordinary service at a fair price, Elite Automotive should be high on your list. When the oil service light came on for my 2009 328i I decided to take it to BMW of Santa Monica. Armed with a $79.99 coupon, I was convinced getting your car serviced at BMW could be affordable. When I arrived at the dealer I was told that beyond the oil change my car needed a standard scope ($100) and new intake filters ($150), for a grand total of $330. Incidentally, Standard Scope is a fancy way of describing a reset of your iDrive. I think you'd agree that charging $100 for resetting a computer is completely absurd and dishonest. Anyway, long story short, went to Elite for a quote. Rudy, the owner, is a no-nonsense kind of guy who told me that the cost for an oil change is $99. He went on to specify that they would inspect the filters and replace them only if necessary. When I came to retrieve my vehicle Rudy showed me the empty quarts of BMW oil, original oil filter box and the dirty air filters he had replaced. The cost with tax came to $162.

Another independent mechanic in Santa Monica referred me to Elite BMW when I couldn't put up my 1998 323i convertible top ( E36 ). Rudy put my top into place, diagnosed it, and gave me a free estimate of what it will cost to fix the top.
Rudy worked as a BMW dealership mechanic when these cars were sold new. He knows how the electronic sensors on the convertible work. He also understands that used car owners such as myself don't want to replace the entire top. He was able to fix my current top in less than one day at a fair price.

This where you take your used BMW while in LA. Rudy puts his customers first and charges a very fair price. I wish I found him sooner so I didn't get ripped off by other LA Mechanics.

Let me tell you! This guy(RUDY, The owner), is a blessing from God. I currently own a 2006 325i premium sport. My warranty just expired and i was terrified of the $$$ of getting my breaks repaired! Although it was no cheap penny, to repair when ur going metal to metal (new pads, roters the works) RUDY made my experience devine! I did some searching prior to the work being done, talk about informative and honest and BEST PRICED", NOT ONLY THAT BUT NOW MY BREAKS DONT SQWEAK ANNNNND THERE IS NO BREAK DUST ON THE RIMS!
