My early birthday visit was delightful. Our chef was entertaining and thoughful. The food was outstanding. This place is treasure. I've never been disappointed at the Santa Monica restaurant.

Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait for a table for about 15 minutes. Because they need to include you at a table. This is understandable, of course. I can say that their pilaf is excellent. I think you should ask for extra garlic butter and soy sauce in your rice. We ordered terayaki chicken, hibachi steak and shrimp. All were perfect.

I had a delightful experience ordering from Benihana through DoorDash. Opting for the Hibachi chicken & steak, the meal truly exceeded expectations. The package included a vibrant and fresh salad adorned with the distinctive ginger dressing, setting the stage for what turned out to be a culinary delight.

The Hibachi chicken & steak were cooked to perfection, capturing that unique Benihana flair even through home delivery. The savory aroma filled the air as I eagerly opened the containers, and the first bite confirmed the quality and authenticity of the experience. The meats were tender, well-seasoned, and char-grilled to perfection, showcasing the culinary expertise that Benihana is renowned for.

Accompanying the main course was the ever-popular chicken fried rice. Each grain was infused with flavor, and the medley of ingredients created a harmonious blend that complemented the proteins superbly. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring a satisfying and fulfilling dining experience.

Beyond the exceptional taste, the attention to detail in the packaging and delivery was commendable. The food arrived in pristine condition, maintaining its freshness and presentation. Even though the setting was my home, the spirit of Benihana's dining experience was beautifully preserved.

In conclusion, my DoorDash delivery from Benihana was a grand success. The Hibachi chicken & steak, paired with the delightful salad and chicken fried rice, showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. It's a testament to the seamless transition of Benihana's culinary excellence from the restaurant to the home, making for a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.

First time at this location. As usual, food was amazing, got rocky's choice, pretty much my usual order. Chef prepared food perfect, and had a good show too. It amazes me that as many times as me and the wife have eaten at Benihana, there are still chef's with tricks we haven't seen. Definitely recommend this location. Parking is a little bit tricky, but there is a lot right across the street.

Johannes (Joe) Server, and Fabian (Chef) were fabulous.

We LOVE this restaurant. CHANCE is the gentleman who waited on us. He was just AMAZING. The chef, FABIAN, is SUCH a great cook, and he performs GREAT tricks. Actually, we were AMAZED to see the new tricks that he performed.

Also, they have a wonderful manager. Thank you JAIME!

We have been dining at Benihanas for over 25 years and tonight’s experience was stellar! Chef Nemesio, was probably the most efficient chef we have ever had! He cooked all the food separately, but together so we all got served at the same time! Not only that, but he got all of our orders correct. I must say that seldom happens. Overall, if you’re in Santa Monica and visiting Benihana‘s, ask for chef Nemesio.

Had a great time eating the food. Make sure to make an appointment earlier if possible. Even if reservations, it can take up to 2 hours for a table. Otherwise, an energetic environment!

Good foods with interesting presentations. Prices are good.

While my family and I have visited and frequent many Benihana restaurants throughout SoCal, this was our first visit to Santa Monica and it definitely did NOT disappoint! Our chef, Victor was OUTSTANDING! You can tell he’s been there for a minute because he knows just how to cook every dish to perfection! The balance of flavors were just incredible. You might not get all of the standard hoopla and trickery that has become synonymous with a trip to Beni’s, but I would absolutely recommend Victor slaying your food. He’s the best we’ve had in a long while! Great food, great company, and we sat next to a great family we were fortunate to meet who were in town from Kentucky. Perfect pre-Fathers Day evening with my husband and kiddies. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great location. Always make sure to make a reservation. We made a reservation for 6:45 and got seated within 5 minutes.
Not my first time so I made sure to come hungry. Last time I had leftovers, this time I was thinking I would finish the whole meal. I had leftovers anyways because the meals are always very filling.
The whole table ordered chicken fried rice and I got myself some steamed rice which they actually forgot about.

This is the place to go for birthdays, I believe my table was the only one that didn't have a birthday. Was there for a special occasion but birthday songs all night long. Lots of fun and a lot of good food to be had here. Highly recommend to make reservations 24 hours or more in advance if you can. They do take walk ins but your wait time might be unbearable. You will also need to set aside a few hours if you decide to dine here

1st time was definitely the charm here. Was so impressed and entertained by our chef. She also performed magic so how awesome was that?..🙌🏾😜

We had such an amazing time every time we go to Benihana! One of our fav spots in Santa Monica for Japanese food. My husband, after spending over 4 years stationed in Japan, ended up developing this addiction for Japanese food, & now I think I'm on the same boat : )..... the Chief here, is always on those little details that make the perfect dinner. Our shrimps, sushi, lobster, all of our dishes are always amazing... the taste, the flavor, the ingredients been used here, you can feel the freshness in your mouth, makes my mouth watery just by thinking about it. The environment is also a plus, the place is clean, fresh, plenty of space to sit & be in private with your friends & family. For all Japanese food lovers out there, this is the place to stop by when you're in Santa Monica. Highly recommended!

The food was really good! And the restaurant staff was really nice. The place was decorated really well. It was an all around impressive experience.

We had to wait a while to get our table even though we had reservations they gave us 3 different plates of sushi 🍣 for free which was really nice because we were starving Antonio was a great chef 👨‍🍳 really FUN❣ his tricks were awesome my kids had a blast and so did the rest of my family 👪 as well it was my bday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 Dinner first time as well visiting this location the staff was nice too and friendly 😀 😊

I haven’t been to Benihana in years because the last time I tried it, it was awful. Chef Kevin changed my views completely. Best Benihana I’ve ever had. Everything cooked perfectly and Chef Kevin was hilarious.

The service was amazing and the food tasted so good & looked gorgeous! The chefs and waiters were incredibly nice and we’ll definitely be coming back
